Great Place!! I love Bob Schwartz! My experience has been great! They went above and beyond to help me be approved for my truck that I purchased from them. Jane Bla I love Bob Schwartz! My experience has been great! They went above and beyond to help me be approved for my truck that I purchased from them. Jane Black in my opinion is the one of the better sales Reps out there. Any of them are great and very friendly and always ready to help you, but Jane stuck out to me and was always ready to help me out for anything! Their Service Center is also a great asset to buying from there. They are always friendly, never have they done something without calling me to get my input and see what I think on the situation. Overall I would tell anybody interested in purchasing a car to go out there and visit Bob Schwartz! More
Had the HVAC system go out in our 2012 Jeep Wrangler in January of this year. When we initially contacted the dealership to see if they could fix it they had us drop the vehicle off at this location and to January of this year. When we initially contacted the dealership to see if they could fix it they had us drop the vehicle off at this location and told us that they would be in contact with us shortly. At this time we were told that they would be unable to provide us with a rental car because of the high demand for rental cars due to the weather at the time. We were offered no alternatives for a rental car. 2 days passed and we had not heard from the dealership, upon calling we were informed that the service department had not been able to fit us in between scheduled OIL CHANGES. After waiting another day we still had not been contacted by anyone from the dealership unless we called ourselves. On the 3rd day we were told that it had been diagnosed as a faulty HVAC system and that the whole system would need to be replaced. At this time we were told that it would be a week before they would be able to fix this and the woman working in customer service told my wife that she could continue to drive the Jeep with no heat to work nearly 60 miles away. At this time the temperatures were getting as low as -15 in central Indiana. After having to procure our own means of alternate transportation with no help from this dealership we waited another 10 days for the vehicle to be ready. During this time we were told that the outstanding recalls on the vehicle would be fixed. When we were finally contacted 13 days after initially dropping off the vehicle we were told that it was ready to be picked up. Knowing how our experience had been so far we asked to make sure that the recalls had been fixed. Not to our surprise we were told that this had not been completed yet and that we would actually have to come the next day to pick up our Jeep. After this fiasco we finally pick up the Jeep and drive it home. After pulling into our parking spot we realize that the ABS and traction control lights are on. Upon calling the dealership again we were assured that this was normal and should go away in a day or so. After 2 days of driving with these lights on we called back and were told by the service department that the soonest they would be able to get us in would be over a month away. After this we contacted another dealership to see if we could get this fixed but were told that since Bob Schwartz messed it up they would have to be the ones to fix it. Nearly a month after this my wife comes out of work on lunch to find that the vehicle will not start. After having it towed to a dealership in Indianapolis where we both work we were told that the ABS and traction control lights were on because someone at Bob Schwartz had cut the line. The service department in Indianapolis assured us that this could not have been a random act of vandalism due to the location of the wire and the way it had been cut. So the service department had knowingly cut the ABS line on our Jeep and refused to see us for over a month while my wife was communing over a hundred miles a day. Jeep headquarters and the regional manager have been contacted and there is an open complaint against this dealership for potentially putting my wife in danger and being less than cooperative with the Jeep representative that contacted them when the case was open. Beware of this dealership's maintenance department and when dealing with them do not expect a timely callback about your vehicle. Chances are you will not hear from them unless you call yourself. Do not put your loved ones in danger, take your vehicle elsewhere. More
I have worked with the good folks at Bob Schwartz for over 15 years - everything from purchase to service after the sale. I've never seen a staff as dedicated as these people. For example, one evening, m over 15 years - everything from purchase to service after the sale. I've never seen a staff as dedicated as these people. For example, one evening, my wife and I were on our way to an important meeting in Indianapolis... and our car broke down. I called Bob Schwartz Chrysler to see what we could do - and the manager himself drove down and personally picked us up, then with a quick signature, we were on our way to our meeting in a loaner car - made our meeting on time, and our car was repaired and ready to go by the time we returned. Absolutely phenomenal customer service! More
