I came in with a 98 escort (running perfectly) to trade, looking to buy a used Focus. I found one that I liked with the options that I wanted. I swear I heard the tires squealing and the engine racing as he pulled out onto Hwy 18. When he came back they said they could only give me $300 because the tranny is slipping. I said that is total crap, it was running perfectly. Went for a drive and sure enough, slipping between 1-2 and 2-3. My advice to you: never let someone drive your trade-in without you riding along, maybe then they will be less likely to abuse it. More

More than one time have had problems with the service area. Also with the collision repair facility. Service area did not call to get authorization to add repairs to initial estimate. Collision repair facility did not do a thorough check had to bring vehicle back when I found additional damage that had not been repaired. More
