I went into this dealership with no intention of purchasing a vehicle because I did not have my down payment ready on that date. Matthew did try and talk me into several vehicles that I would never purchasing a vehicle because I did not have my down payment ready on that date. Matthew did try and talk me into several vehicles that I would never drive but after telling him once more that I was only interested in two vehicle types he got right to work on finding something in the inventory that would be suitable for my situation. Not only was I approved to purchase the truck after filing bankruptcy only a few months before that but I was also allowed to write a check for the amount of the down payment and they held it for me until I gave them the okay to deposit it. The visit was well worth the time I had to wait and I would recommend Cass Burch to all of my friends. For all of the other bad reviews that are on here, you people should do some homework before going in to purchase a vehicle. Obviously a salesman that works on commission is going to try and trick you into purchasing something at a higher price because that is how they make their money. If you don't like the price, then learn to walk away. They will call you back the next day with another offer. More
I bought a new Dodge from Cass and it was the worst experience I've ever had when purchasing a new car. The sales person was ok, but Cass promised me some car accessories that he never followed throug experience I've ever had when purchasing a new car. The sales person was ok, but Cass promised me some car accessories that he never followed through on. In addition, his dealership's attitude changed 180 degrees after the sale was final. After the sale was finalized, he acted like the arrogant, condescending jerk that several other buyers had described him as. I went to the dealership to talk to him after the vehicle was purchased (but before it was delivered to the dealership) to discuss my issues and he WOULD NOT meet with me. He was in a glass office where I could see him and he refused to talk to me even thought I could see he had no customers. He finally met with me after I had waited about an hour and a half when he saw me sharing my experience with prospective buyers. He was EXTREMELY rude when he and I met to discuss my issues I had with the whole "buying experience". I WOULD STRONGLY WARN people to not buy a vehicle from Cass. Since I made my mistake, I've talked to several others who had similar experiences to mine. I only wish I had come into contact with these people before I purchased the vehicle. I wish people who've had experiences similar to mine would share their experience so that other people could benefit and not have to go through the same nightmare. My wife is so angry with Cass that she hates to ride in my new Challenger because she associates the new car with Cass, whom she absolutely despises. More
Bought a used vehicle from here ($4700) a couple years before this horrible experience. Thought that as well as they treated me with a $4700 used car purchase, they would really roll out the red carpet on before this horrible experience. Thought that as well as they treated me with a $4700 used car purchase, they would really roll out the red carpet on a $45,000+ new truck purchase. Right. First off, they had to find the truck I wanted off their lot. No big deal, happens at all lots, all the time. The big deal was they wanted me to pay and finance it before it got here, sight unseen, without driving it. (Should've walked out at this point, but the picture of the truck was nice) CB advertise's about how much they give for trade-in's. Again, right. I had a fairly decent DODGE truck that they offered me $500 for. It was Blue booked at $3200, I would've taken $1500 for it. I told them I could get at least $2500 for it. The sales manager said I would be lucky to get $750 for it. He would not bet me $100 that I could. Loe and behold, I sold it for $2500! They also always talkand advertise about how much they love "their" veterans and service members. Once again.....right. All they love is the veteran's money! Didn't give me squat for a discount when I mentioned my retired military status. They said that "I didn't qualify." Of all my military, retired military and veteran friends, I've yet to find one of them who does "qualify". To top things off, I needed to add step bars on both sides of the truck so my wife can get into the truck. I asked if they could throw those into the price of an already $50,000 truck. They said that there was no way that they could do that. The same thing was said on the spray in bedliner. To top off the bedliner, I found tape and paper in the holes on the corners of the bed! What great workmanship That was! To top this review off, I would not buy a used, rusty bicycle from Cass Burch if they gave it to me. As a matter of fact, my son is planning on buying a new 2500 Ram later this year, but it won't be from CB. We're also looking at a NEW Durango or mini van for my wife later this year. Again, it won't be from CB. That's at least $65,000 sales that they've lost. My daughter will be looking for a car next year as well. Guess where she WON'T be looking? More
My experience at Cass Burch was above and beyond customer service. My sisters and I had planned a trip from Ohio to Tenn.and then to Florida to pick up some antique furniture my Mother had left before her dea service. My sisters and I had planned a trip from Ohio to Tenn.and then to Florida to pick up some antique furniture my Mother had left before her death to my youngest sister who was down sizing and didn't have room.On our return trip back to Tenn.my truck broke down on the interstate. We waited 4 hours for a tow-truck because the weather conditions had tornado warnings in effect. Our tarps had been shreadded by the wind and I was so afraid the furniture was going to be damaged. The tow truck came and was very nice and said that AAA said to take us to Nashville,GA for repair we got to the dealership(I won't mention names-But, the truck was a Dodge)they said "We close in 15 minutes and we are not open on Sat." They sent us to Cass Burch so we turned around and went back a mile south of where we were broke down. We called ahead to let them know we where on our way by now it was going on 4:30 on a Friday. Kara assured us they would wait for us to get there. On our arrival they where ready and waiting with prompt service the news was not good. I had blown the engine. Cory Anderson suggested we get a hotel and decide what we wanted to do about the damage. He drove us to the hotel in his personal truck carried in our luggage and suggested a few good places to eat.He allowed us to leave the truck full of furniture in the building so it was safe and protected.(Which meant the world to me, Since I would never be able to replace the antiques our Mother left us.)The men in the garage on Sat. where very friendly and helpful and helped us transfer the furiture to another truck. There are still good people left in this world and God lead us to you. God Bless,Sincerly Cindy Basinger More
It was Friday. and we were out looking for a truck. Not just any truck, but one that could pull at a minimum 10,000 pounds, seat 6 people, and was a diesel. We had no intention of purchasing a new vehicle just any truck, but one that could pull at a minimum 10,000 pounds, seat 6 people, and was a diesel. We had no intention of purchasing a new vehicle as we don't feel we will use the truck enough to warrant it. We were greeted by Brett after walking around the lot for about 5 to 10 minutes while trying to find the used car section. We told Brett what we were looking for and he immediately took us to a $50,000 new truck. This made us reiterate what we were looking for on the spot. At that time Brett looked at us and said he didn't have any used vehicles in stock that would be classified as what we may need; however, he said there will be a truck coming in on Monday that he personally owned and traded in. We swapped numbers and waited for a call. Monday came and went and still no call from Brett. Wednessday came again and we felt we should contact him to see what was going on with the truck. Brett was not available at the time and since we were less than a mile away from the dealership, we felt we would go ahead and stop by just to see if the vehicle was there. When we arrived, Brett was sitting in his office doing nothing. He said the vehicle wasn't out of the detail shop but should be out by Friday, then walked over to another employee to verify that this was true. We called the Dealership on Friday evening since we hadn't heard anything from Brett once again. Big surprise, Brett wasn't available to talk once again. We tried to talk to another salesman but they wouldn't speak with us, instead they said they didn't want to interfere with Brett's sale. We reminded them that we hadn't seen the truck yet and we are not the types to just jump on any old truck coming out the back door, and that no sale has been made or even set up between any of us until we see the vehicle and drive it. They said they understood and apologised, then brushed us off by walking away. We waited until Monday and still hadn't heard anything from Brett. We figured Brett didn't want to sell a vehicle to us since he never called and let us know anything going on with the truck. Usually when a salesman wants to make a sale, they are all about calling you to make sure you were happy with their service and give you updates. They just don't want to lose that sale. I guess Brett makes more money than he can deal with because he never did any of this, if anything he continually blew us off. We decided to go to Tillman Motors and buy a beautiful 2001 F-250 Lariat, 7.3L Super Duty Off Road truck with 74k miles on it, for $18k. We gave Brett one more chance to swing a deal before heading to the bank... he wasn't available once again though. More
