We conducted our business over the phone and showed up at the dealership to pick up our new car, but upon inspecting the vehicle we discovered that it lacked a package that we wanted. Our salesperson couldn’t be there due to factors beyond his control. We later learned that our salesperson was new and had made an error. This is where James Hamburger stepped in and took control of the situation. He quickly conferred with Dane Luca, the General Manager of the dealership, and immediately they formulated a solution. They did not have the car in stock with the equipment that we wanted, but before Jim told us, they had already located a car at another dealership and were working on a dealer swap. They pulled off a miracle in the car business. They made the arrangements with the other dealer and had our new car at their dealership in less than two hours. We were amazed at their professionalism and efficiency. Someone made an error, as human beings are prone to do, but instead of belaboring the issue they quickly found a solution and went above and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our transaction. What really sold me was my salesperson,Anthony Gioe. I had to bring my 72 year old mother along with me to co-sign the lease. He was so respectful to her which meant a lot to me. He is a very professional and Greico Mazda should be proud to have an valuable asset like Anthony Gieo representing them. In my opinion,if anyone deserves a pay raise it is Anthony. He spent a lot of time with me on several cars and never was in a rush for me to come to a conclusion, and was of great assistance of his time which he gave to me generously. Finally after a few test drives and the process completed with my decision to purchase a Mazda i6, Kevin drove me home to drop off my car and then drove me back to the dealership to complete the process for obtaining my new car. I found the 2016 Mazda 3 that I wanted and it was a simple process from there. Jim took every measure to make sure that it was what I wanted and was very nice and personable. He was great at getting us a good price and showed genuine interest in us instead of just seeing us as another sale. Jim has been great, following up to make sure the car has no issues and to see if I'm still playing basketball.
