Overall Poor Experience Improved (Barely) By Great Associate Drove 30 miles to Greico to possibly purchase a used vehicle they had advertised. Test drove it, had concerns with how it rode and handled, and while inspecting the outside of the car saw small but numerous pieces of damage. Brought this up to the salesperson, who showed genuine agitation that I was picking the car apart and started debating with me in regard to the common sense observations I was making. I asked about a newer model...drove it, liked it, and started comparing it to the other lesser car. He became annoyed again and said, "It doesn't matter to me what car you buy." I offered to purchase the newer one, but they wouldn't give me a single dime off of the price. Not one cent. The first dealership in the history of America to price cars at landing! Still, I felt it was a fair price and moved forward. It was late so I left them with a hold check in good faith, until we could reconvene the next day when the finance department came in. Even though they knew I was not going to put any $ down, and that there would be no cash in the deal whatsoever, they deposited my check. I called and told them that I wanted the money back in full upon signing . My messages went unreturned. I arrived for delivery, and they did not have my check. They hadnt even requested one. They filled out a check request in front of me, but it had the wrong address on it. I had them tear it up and write one with the proper address. 22 days after they cashed my check...TWENTY TWO DAYS...I still hadnt received my money, and I kept being put off. I finally got in my car and went down there yesterday. I was angry beyond belief. That's where sales manager Wilson Calderon comes in. He was a gentleman and a true pro. He calmed me down and told me that my issue - whatever it was - would be resolved today. After he listened to everything I had to say, he told me what he was going to try and do, and after some unsatisfactory offers (almost certainly coming from higher management) he did it - handing me a check for the full amount. It turns out that they sent the original check very late but had sent it to..the wrong address, which I had stressed they not do. I sensed disorganization throughout the process. Overall, their communication was slow to bad, from our salesperson up to the top. Additionally, the floormats were never put back in my car after they cleaned it, I spent over $20,000 and I don't have any floormats!! I forgot to mention it when I was there, and am almost afraid to take it up with them because they'll probably infuriate me during the process. I had to pull teeth for over 3 weeks to get MY money back - would they even acknowledge that they owe me mats? I purchased the car largely because of it's warranty, and now I have anxiety knowing I may have to deal with this organization multiple times over the years. Anthony is a very good finance manager and Wilson is an outstanding sales manager. The rest of the bunch were weak at best. I'm not naming the salesperson because he's just starting out and seems like a good guy, even though he needs some behavior modification to succeed in this business. Return calls and emails asap. Don't argue with your customers. Those are the easy parts of the job, no? And when you're delivering a car, check to see if it has all the 'pieces' that come with it. More

Was not in really looking for a new car, but went in to see if there were any incentives at the end of January. Explained that to Kevin, but he still let me go out for a test drive. Was interested in buying a 2018 or 2019 Sonata, kept being pressured to lease it instead (which I won't do, because I drive a lot of miles). After taking a test drive they took my keys to look at my vehicle even though I wasn't sure that I would trade it in. That also prevented me from easily leaving. Had to ask for my keys back twice to make an appointment. Dealership said they'd let me have the car for 375 a month for 72 months at 3.9% financing. I said no thanks, was not paying any finance charges (0 or 0.9 only) Finally got me down to 357 for 72 months if I put 3000 down. Said no thanks and left. Went to my appointment and then stopped by Tarbox. On my way to the other dealership got 2 calls on my cell saying they were able to take a few thousand more off if I go back before 7pm but the black car I wanted was just sold and I had to take the white one. Didn't want white. Ended up at Tarbox and in 2 minutes they were able to put me in a new car - the black 2018 Sonata -- even nicer than the one at Greico with more features for 294 a month for 60 months, 0.0% interest. Needless to say, Kevin called again while I was at Tarbox, and have been getting calls and emails from Britney and the office girls since then. Bottom line, do not shop here... Go see Tarbox it is worth the drive. More

Called them up and made an appointment, the rep said the car was available and asked me to meet Justin, the sales manager. When I and my wife showed up, no sign of Justin. After 10 mins of just standing around, we were handed off to Stan. He said they send everyone to "Justin" but you just get whoever is available. Okay fine, let's look at the car. He says that car had been sold the previous day (bait and switch pattern reported by others) but he could show me this other (more expensive) one. I asked if I could look at the inventory and pick one out myself. He actually had the audacity to say that I could go home and look it up on the computer myself. But I had already done my research and picked out a car, and you pulled a bait and switch on me. Okay, let's go for a test drive. VERY RELUCTANTLY he got the dealer plates on and agreed to go for a drive. While on the road, I asked him if he could tell me about the car's features (aka make your sales pitch now.) He says "I don't know." This guy had to be the world's worst used car salesman! The whole time he just sat sullenly in the backseat, not a word exchanged, except at the end when he asked us to pull into the dealer lot. Clearly, Stan was not the man to make a sale. After we came back, he took about half an hour to come up with a lowball trade-in value for my BMW. We could see the entire time that he had just been laughing it up with the guys at the service desk. We had had enough by then and left disappointed. For several days after, I would get voicemails from someone named Jessica, whom I could hear giggling and laughing in the background as she left these perfunctory scripted messages asking to call them back and buy a car. I don't think I have ever felt more disrespected. How bad does a dealership have to be to actually turn away a customer who walks in their door on his own and genuinely wants to buy a car? We decided to take our business to Tasca. They treated us with courtesy and respect, and gave us a great deal on the car we wanted. Their after sales service has been great as well. My first contact with Grieco Hyundai was Jessica Vincent who was able to answer my questions and concerns with professionalism and kindness. We were scheduled to meet with Justin who was the manager at Grieco Hyundai the next day. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Angel Concepcion who had the car ready for us to view and take a test drive. We loved the car and it was in perfect condition. We were able to negotiate most successfully with Justin.It was a “win,win” for all of us.They delivered our car to Colchester,Ct the very next day. Our experience from beginning to end with Grieco Hyundai was far beyond our expectations,but I really feel that was due to the professionalism and kindness of Justin and Angel who was assisting him. I walked out of the dealership confident that I received the best deal for a great car. Joe Rodriguez was amazing to deal with. He was extremely friendly. His knowledge of the industry and the cars wasn’t matched by anywhere I had been before. He made sure that I was taken care of from beginning to end of the process. He went above and beyond in service when he contacted me the next day during his time off on his Birthday to make sure I was pleased with my service. I dealt with Carissa through online and over the phone prior to arriving and she was great to deal with. She had the car out front when I arrived for the test drive. Stan and Bruce were very helpful in making sure my experience was great. I am glad that I went to Grieco Kia. I wished I saved myself time going to those other dealerships. More

We knew that we wanted a specific Kia model, a 2018 Sportage LX, and their price was the best around. The Kias, seem to sell themselves, but with the help of Bruce and Cody, we could weigh all the pros and cons in choosing this particular model. Once the decision was made to purchase the vehicle, the Greico team went right to work to make it possible for us to drive away in our Kia that very day. Magic! We would highly recommend this dealership as everyone was so pleasant to deal with. Thank you Grieco Kia! More
