Clear case of fraud Now that the situation is resolved, I would like to issue a word of warning to friends in the New England area. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM GRIECO D Now that the situation is resolved, I would like to issue a word of warning to friends in the New England area. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM GRIECO DEALERSHIPS. Long story short, they fraudulently advertised and sold us a NEW Honda Civic that was actually pretty well USED. I only found this out by running a carfax after getting some fishy answers from the dealer on questions I had. When confronted, they first tried to tell us the car was still new, (even though it had been registered, titled, and driven by another owner), then they simply stopped taking or returning our calls for two weeks. We had to physically go to the dealership and make a scene on two separate occasions to even be talked to. Finally, they made it an unbelievable hassle to return the car that they scammed us on, dragging out the process and threatening to not refund all our money. Only the threat of legal action got things moving. All in all, we made around 50 phone calls and wasted probably a hundred hours on this nonsense. BE CAREFUL. They are cheats and liars. More

It had 152,000 miles but was taken care of by its one owner and serviced by Honda dealerships. We paid the fair market price and were satisfied with the value. We liked our sales man and every Greico associate we met. We called ahead and had no wait when we arrived. Because we are Connecticut residents they were going to process the title and registration and send us our new plates. We left happy with a temporary Rhode Island plate. The salesman told us it would take a couple weeks for processing. When the plates had not arrived about four days before the temporary plate was about to expire we called our salesman to confirm our paperwork was processed. We learned the paperwork could not be processed because the car had to go through Connecticut emissions, first. We offered to drive back to the dealership that day to pick up the paperwork. To make a long story short several calls and texts later our Odyssey sits with an expired temporary tag. My trip to Home Depot to pick up materials for a project will have to wait until we get the car registered because someone sat on our paperwork. If you are a non-Rhode Island resident considering the purchase of a car at Greico Honda we would caution you not to leave without the title and necessary paperwork in hand and plan to register the car yourself in your home state. We aren't sure who dropped the ball but it it caused us a lot of undue frustration, irritation, and inconvenience. If the after sales documentation had been handled properly we would would have rated them 4 stars. As I mentioned, we paid fair market value based on mileage and condition so the price was considered average. More
sloppy, deceitful, and barely any customer service if you are looking to shop here, i advise you to proceed with caution. their online prices are a lie, with a disclaimer in tiny font that it's only af if you are looking to shop here, i advise you to proceed with caution. their online prices are a lie, with a disclaimer in tiny font that it's only after a 1500 down payment, which isn't even present on the used car page which is where i looked. it's only on the new car pages. the first seller i had to deal with didn't even want to show me the car when he inquired about my financial intentions, which threw me off because i wanted to see the car first in person before any financial discussion. then when i bought the car, i had no gas fill-up and the car didn't looked washed. at that point, i just wanted to leave. it took over two weeks for registration to come in; when i called and inquired the status on my registration, i got the run-around 3 times and had to wait for a call back from the seller. registrations go through an office, i shouldn't have to wait for someone to call me back and say "yes its here" when someone from that office could have just checked to see if it was in. great to think i paid 150 for that. the woman i talked to on the phone about it could not have cared less what i had to say. no one knows how to treat a customer here, it's clear their company culture promotes lies, deceit, and numbers. they want to sell cars but do not care about retaining new clientele, so buyer beware! you will BARELY get customer service or friendliness. they only want to meet numbers. i would not recommend this place if you have any other choices. Had to bring our car back If I could leave negative stars I would. I leased my Honda Civic back in 2015 and should of known better then come back here. I received a promo maile If I could leave negative stars I would. I leased my Honda Civic back in 2015 and should of known better then come back here. I received a promo mailer with a great deal to come in and trade up into a new lease. Having two kids the civic was deff getting too small and I was eagerly looking for something bigger. My fiancé and I go in and after waiting and waiting were finally given the time of day by David. He seemed like a genuine guy and not pushy. First off we knew going in that we had negative equity in our civic with the amount they offered in the mailer and the incentives going plus money we were willing to put down we knew we could wash that negative equity away. The mailer is a joke because the amount of money they offered for my trade didn't even compare to what we were offered in the mailer! They start throwing the terms of "wear and tear" when my car was hardly driven. However because we really wanted to get into something bigger we kept going back and forth until we were finally able to agree on a price and drive off with a new accord being told we would come in on Monday to sign the paperwork since we made the deal on a Saturday. Well a week and a half later, after calling and calling them everyday getting the run around that they were working on it (which they weren't) we finally get a call from David saying we need to bring the car back!! I was in tears. How do you let someone drive off the lot with a brand car for almost two weeks and then demand the car back! They said because of how much negative equity we had in the vehicle they couldn't get the deal to work which was totally bullsh**t. There is no way we were that upside on our car and the promo mailer we received was going to wash it away with the money we had to put down! I can't believe they did this to my family and the lies and deceitful tactics they used! Getting the civic back was terrible because David couldn't be bothered with us and no one wanted to wait on us. Took over an hour to get them to bring the car around and on top of it when they brought my civic back it was covered in bird poop, pollen and completely trashed! DO NOT GO HERE! LIES LIES LIES More

WORST Dealership EVER 😡😡 WORST experience ever!!! I will NEVER go to this dealership at all!!! 😡😡This dealership used to be owned by Metro Honda, I guess it was sold 😡😡 WORST experience ever!!! I will NEVER go to this dealership at all!!! 😡😡This dealership used to be owned by Metro Honda, I guess it was sold to Grieco Honda. Well, I am not surprised since I did not have any good experience with Metro either. When it was operated by Metro, I showed up at 6pm which was 1 hour before they close, I requested a test drive, they told me it was too late to take a car out for a test drive, I was like What the heck! I immediately walked away!!! Grieco dealership is having a massive radio advertisement, so I was thinking to give them a shot. WORST mistake ever!!! Dealership's name was changed but not the mamagement!! I test drove the 2017 Honda Touring, and asked the salesman to get their best price. So this salesman (messenger) walked to the managers the ones sitting on their "thrones" and asked for the price and the associated fee. 20 minutes later salesman came back and asked me for my date of birth, ssn and signature so they could check my credit score. Me: "why do you need my ssn to check my credit when we did not even come to the agreed price?" Salesman: "we need this so we could get you approve for financing." Me: "well, that is too early in the stage, we did not even discuss about the price of the car yet. Once I figure out how much I am paying for the car, we could talk about financing stuff." Salesman: "if we get you to the agreed monthly payment would you buy the car today?" Me: "I don't care about the monthly payment and the term, I am having credit score of more than 700 and I am going to put money down, so depends on the interest rate, I could choose the right term for myself. But All I need to know now is your best price."....... And then the salesman kept on talking about non-relavant information for another 15 to 20mins. So I asked to have the sales manager here to go over the price for two cars. Guess what, the sales manager decided not to talk to me and tell the salesman, the greatest messenger to tell me: 2017 Honda touring is 44k. 🤔🤔😡😡😡😤😤😤that is the freaking MSRP!! I stood up and shake salesman's hand and said: "sorry to waste both of our time!" I turned around and walked out the dealership! That is not the end of the story!! 😡😡the sales manager finally walked off his nice "throne" and caught me outside. Sales manager: "what is going on?" Me: "well, I tried to get the best price from you but you gave me the MSRP, and I am being asked for ssn to check my credit score for the car we did not even agree on the price yet!" Sales manger: "what is your price then?" Me: "another dealership offered me X amount." Sale manager:"would u buy it today at X price and kept on decreasing the price..." Me : "well, it is not about the price, it is about how you treat people.." Then sales manager asked again:"would you buy it today if I am going to sell the car at X price, Y price... kept on decreasing the price..." I said: "NO, it is not about the price!" Ending.. sales manager: "then we have no business here!" He turned around and walked away! 😱😱 More
Bait and Switch They advertise great prices, but then when you get there you hear "you know that price we have online is after a $1500 down payment, right?" Um, no. T They advertise great prices, but then when you get there you hear "you know that price we have online is after a $1500 down payment, right?" Um, no. That's not how car sales work, guys, escpecially after I drive over 200 miles to see you. To top it off, they offered me $12,000 for my trade. I had FIVE other dealers appraise it, and everyone came in at between $16,000 and $17,000. Greico gave me some BS about "calling the district manager" and confirming that "that was all they could do." Obviously either a bald-faced lie or a gross incompetent district manager. Probably both. I left this terrible place of business, drove down to Hyundai of Newport, and bought practically teh same car with the same miles on it for $6,500 less. SIXTY. FIVE. HUNDRED. Avoid like the plague.
