The team at Metro Honda was superb. Very professional and informed. Answered all my questions quickly and honestly. Juan Carlos my salesman was the best. Gave all the information i wanted and made the proces informed. Answered all my questions quickly and honestly. Juan Carlos my salesman was the best. Gave all the information i wanted and made the process of buying a new car as painless as possible. There was a small problem during the financing process, but after i informed Metro, they fixed it within 5 minutes and i was actually better off than would have been originally. This is my third car that i have purchased there and i will be continuing to go there for my Honda needs in the future. i am a very happy customer. More
I went to Metro Honda with high expectations. I went in as a very serious buyer looking at the Honda 2013 civic. I spoke with Danielle over the phone (she was very friendly) and was told I would meet with as a very serious buyer looking at the Honda 2013 civic. I spoke with Danielle over the phone (she was very friendly) and was told I would meet with Ricardo. I drove 45 minutes and by the time I got there my name was not written down and I was passed along to Raymond Santilli. I said I was looking at a honda lx civic in white and that I had never driven one. I had done extensive research and new more than Raymond did. He did not show me the trunk, the engine, or any parts of the car when we test drove. I asked if there was bluetooth, which I knew there was, and he said no, then yes upon my correction. After the test drive I wanted to know specifically what price I could get the car for. Yes, the price for a honda lx civic in white. Why is this so hard? Raymond said "19,755" which is retail price. I asked if there were any incentives or discounts his response: "It's president's month." Okay... so what does that mean? "Up to $1800 off." So i asked specifically for a print out of this deal and he said he could'nt give it to me. I asked for a deal in writing and he said he couldn't give it to me. I then asked to see if they had any other deals to show me and Raymond said there's a book of deals but only the manager has access to it. I again asked if we could discuss deals and he literally said no. I was completely written off, I had no tour of the car/the features, and I will never ever return to Metro Honda. My experience was awful and I was treated as if I were "clueless". Danielle followed up with a call and then gave me a SECOND price saying the car would be $18,700 but that I would have to drive back to the dealership if I wanted a more "aggressive price". What kind of service is this? Why am I the one doing all the work when I am where the money is? On a second note, I went to another Honda dealer and was told a direct price and all of the deals on the computer WITH a printout to take home. As a Public Relations professional, the "image" of Metro Honda is definitely suffering, just look at Yelp reviews as well as the majority of these reviews. I will tell everyone about my awful and rude experience at Metro Honda. Never ever go here. More
Had my front brake rotors and pads changed half a year ago. Service rep talked me into getting aftermarket rotors (I wanted original Honda ones), saying their quality is the same as original Honda and I c ago. Service rep talked me into getting aftermarket rotors (I wanted original Honda ones), saying their quality is the same as original Honda and I can save some money. Noticed now vibration at steering wheel when braking. Went back at dealership and they told me rotors need machining. What??? Machine rotors after only half year? The original Honda ones lasted me 5 years! After giving them a piece of my mind, eventually they changed (or so they claim) the rotors - which were in 1 year warranty anyway - with another aftermarket ones. Had several issues with them over time (essentially sloppy work that made me come back so they can fix them). Funny they think that offering either free oil change or washing will make up for those. I am definitely NOT recommending them to anyone! More
To me I feel the experience of buying a car has a bit of negative stigma attached to it. But my experience at Metro Hobda was anything but that. From the minute the salesman greeted me to the sales manager negative stigma attached to it. But my experience at Metro Hobda was anything but that. From the minute the salesman greeted me to the sales manager congraduating me on my purchase, right down to shaking the finance manager hand I was sold on my Metro experience. I am truly a Honda customer for life and a Metro customer for ever! More
I've been doing business with Metro Honda for many years. I've purchased and serviced my Honda at this dealership - a 2004 Honda Odyssey. I've always found the team there to be professional, efficient and he I've purchased and serviced my Honda at this dealership - a 2004 Honda Odyssey. I've always found the team there to be professional, efficient and helpful. When I recently decided to trade my 2004 Odyssey, I was very surprise when I ended up selling the Odyssey......to Metro Honda. After we just received a letter from Metro Honda asking to buy back the Odyssey from us, Metro Honda offered me a reasonable trade price for our Odyssey, Juan Carlos also gave us a great price to purchase the 2011 Pilot from their used car inventory. The price was close enough to my expectations and still allowed the dealership to make a reasonable profit on the vehicle. Juan Carlos Cuellar was extremely professional and straight-forward in our dealings. He didn't waste my time and treated me like a valued customer. I really appreciate his direct approach and strong follow-through. Juan Carlos is an asset to the Metro Honda team. I won't hesitate to do business with Metro Honda again in the near future. Thanks Metro we love our 2011 Honda Pilot.... #1 More
looking at leasing an accord. I don't want to get into specifics because this is not how I spend my time. I did however notice that alot of people who put these reviews up spend their time reporting in de specifics because this is not how I spend my time. I did however notice that alot of people who put these reviews up spend their time reporting in detail the negative experiences they've had. Get over it people! Everybody wants to spend nothing for something and feel like they got a great deal. It is a fair dealership and I reccommend it and will go back. More
I went on-line to get a price quote. I was immediately responded to by Ariel. I also did an on-line request through Boch. I was given an out-the-door price by Boch which was very acceptable. I planned responded to by Ariel. I also did an on-line request through Boch. I was given an out-the-door price by Boch which was very acceptable. I planned to buy there, but was hounded by Ariel who told me they would meet or beat this out-the-door price. As Metro is more conveniently located to me, I gave them a chance. When I went there, Phelan had no idea what Ariel had offered me. This is when the games began. He told his manager Matt what we wanted as an out-the-door price and Matt could not meet the price. When we tried to leave he threw a monthly pmt price at us. Without a calculator available, we thought it sounded okay. He told us that with flex cash and incentives, this would get us to the price we wanted. After agreeing to the deal and completing paperwork, we got home and realized we were paying 1200 more than we had wanted. We spoke to Boch and they told us what they would give us as a monthly pmt and it was much lower than what we were paying. On Sunday morning I called Phelan, explained how upset I was over what I was paying, and asked if I could cancel. He said he would have Matt call me back first thing Monday morning. Matt did not call me back until almost noon at which time he told me it was too late as the paperwork had already been sent in that morning. When I picked the car up, I was assured by Phelan that he had contacted my insurance as they had told me when I purchased it that they would handle all of that. I drove the car home to CT believing this was all set. Later that afternoon my insurance company called me saying they had just received a call from Phelan. I could not believe that I was lied to. I called Phelan back, left him a message about this, and of course did not receive a call back. I was also told that I should be receiving a courtesy call from Metro after my purchase, asking how I was enjoying my vehicle, and 3 weeks later I still have not heard from them. I also was given a temporary plate and was told it would take 7-10 days to get my plates in and someone would call me when they came in. I expressed to Phelan that I had read reviews from unhappy customers having problems receiving their plates and was assured this was only with transfers. A few days before my plates were expiring, I started calling. No one would return my calls. Finally after several calls that week, the day before they expired Phelan called me and said I could pick them up. This was right down to the wire. Overall, a very unhappy experience. Lied to on multiple occasions. Was told by Matt that he would try to rectify this and would speak to his manager, but of course, never called me back. Do yourself a favor and go to Boch or anywhere other than Metro. More
I confirmed that the car was there. They told me it will be waiting for my inspection. Confirmed with a email before I left. Danielle Samoorian said make sure you ask for Ricardo (sales manager). Got ther be waiting for my inspection. Confirmed with a email before I left. Danielle Samoorian said make sure you ask for Ricardo (sales manager). Got there and i was told the car was sold. Ricardo tried to talk me into a new vehicle. I went home, took a shower to wash the slim off. I will be telling all my Rhode Island friends to stay far away from Metro Honda, Johnston RI. More
I agreed on a price for a CRV EXL with Ariel in the Internet Dept through multiple emails. Price was very good (26800 including destination) if paying cash, which was my plan. Financed price was $20 Internet Dept through multiple emails. Price was very good (26800 including destination) if paying cash, which was my plan. Financed price was $200 less. I called Ariel before driving to Metro to confirm our agreement, and to ask what to bring ("A credit card or a check for a deposit."). I was told to ask for Ricardo, a sales manager. Upon arrival, Ricardo wasn't available. Instead, I dealt with an inexperienced, young sales person who tried to be personable. He showed me the car with enthusiasm. However, he kept running to a sales manager for coaching: First he insisted that my "cash" price was in fact a price for a deal with financing. Thank goodness for smartphones; I shared my entire email communication with him to confirm that the higher price of 26,800 was a cash price. Then, he asked for a "commitment" (Metro slang for a deposit), but didn't have a sales agreement. Of course I asked for a sales agreement before giving a "commitment," but was told that Metro does it "backwards." REALLY!!! This was truly sleazy (which I told him). I insisted on speaking to a sales manager, who insisted that the deal must be completed that evening (Oct 31) to get the sale in for the month. My choice was to pay in full with a bank check, or to finance. I had him review my emails with Ariel in the internet dept, which he then tried to reinterpret! After telling him that the business practice at Metro is sleazy, I walked out. My advice....stay FAR FAR away from Metro. Not only did they lose my sale, but i've purchased 3 previous Hondas (not from Metro), and they'll lose future sales from me, as well. I ended up purchasing the car at Atamian Honda in Tewksbury MA at $100 less; the saleperson (Ed Marte) was wonderful; professional and honest. Go see Ed at Atamian instead. More
