Was dealing w/ Salesperson on internet. Advised they had a NEW vehicle for exactly what we could afford, even though it was not the color we wanted. Drove down there, which was about an hour away, as we had made an appointment with them and low and behold the vehicle they had quoted us a price was USED. And not only was it used, they wanted over $1000 more then we had talked about. I had told them up front I did not want to waste their time or mine, but I guess they did not care about their time or mine. Unless you get a deal in writing and have exact information, don't trust this dealership. Our original salesman, at the last minute was not available when we arrive and another salesman took over... It ended with the salesman telling us if I can get that car elsewhere, then we should. UMMM in this day with social media so easy to use, you should know bad service never is the way to stay in business. More
Extremely condescending and Rude Service Department. I will never buy another car from Phil Smith or take a car to them for service,My brand new car had its front splash guard come loose and it was flopp I will never buy another car from Phil Smith or take a car to them for service,My brand new car had its front splash guard come loose and it was flopping around and dragging and did damage subsequently when pieces of it came off and hit up under the car causing more damage to the remaining splash guards. I brought it in the next day that service was open and they tried to tell me I had run over something, It was road damage first they tried me for $500.00 then for $250.00 then for$ 150.00.I told them no way, I had done nothing wrong. I had just gotten on the Turnpike and was about 15 miles from home and it was pouring rain and I heard all this noise like something rubbing or dragging. I thought at first a stone had gotten into the when or a caliper had turned in but there was no pull on the wheels so I proceeded slowly because there was no place else to go but forward. I did not have the radio on or any other distraction because the weather was severe. If I had run over something on the road I would have heard it and felt it. They refused to honor my warranty stating that if they couldn't prove it came lose to General Motors they would have to pay for the repairs. I am like really, I am the Flipping customer and you want to call me a liar and tell me I did it on the road rather then take responsibility for your product. Never Ever Again will I go to this dealership. More
Amazing! I see some of the reviews here and it's like we're from 2 different worlds! I leased a vehicle from here. Sale went smoothly. Service is always fast and everyone is always friendly. It's actually disheartening that some look like fake reviews. I definitely will always bring my vehicles here! More
Horrible Service! Untrustworthy! The worst Service Departmen Had an issue with my Chevrolet Cruze 2012, from the codes it seamed like a Turbo issue. Called Service and spoke with Victor he seemed to say everything to get me tow my car in there, told me a lot of these cars had turbo issues. I told him I will get the car there this afternoon, using Chevrolet Road Side assistance. 10 Days go by, and not a single call from the dealership. So I figure I stop by and see what's the progress. When I come there, they say we have no idea about your car, take a look at their lot, they find the car, but no key and the car has been damaged on the rear. Their excuse well, the truck dropped it off and didn't tell them. 0 accountability for their dealership. They close their gate at 6pm, so if there is a tow truck someone should get the key and sign for the car, what they told me that the car just entered their lot put a car there and left. I told them to do investigation, and look at the cameras. Again, there are missing key and damage to the car which wasn't there. Not even talking about the turbo issue. Victor said "its not my problem", I ask him who is the manager, he said the manager is no longer there. Wonderful when you have a service department with no active manager. They told me that I have to pay for the key, they did not even do any investigation or check the Cameras. I told them ok, do the key, I signed a paper allowing them to get me a working key - at my expense as this dealership has 0 responsibility on cars on their lot!! Ok, so what do you think happens, 3 weeks later no calls no nothing. Do you think they got me a key? No! They didn't do anything! They didn't even make a new key!! How about this wonderful Service Department? They created more problems for me, and wasted nearly 2 months now, so don't take your car here, unless you want to get damage to it, and the dealer will tell you that the damage was there. Or we do not have any documentation, and leaving car here at your own risk. This is by FAR the ABSOLUTE worst dealership I have ever tried servicing my car!!! No Calls, No Communication, Nothing gets done!! Avoid at all COST! I will make sure that this gets around all over the internet, yelp, google, bbb, and I am definitely submitting this to Chevrolet Headquarters! Such horrible Service Department should not be allowed to operate. More

I received a phone call from Dwayne Taylor confirming the vehicle was available shortly after 9am. I submitted the loan application and arrived shortly after 3pm only to be told the car was in service for an inspection and not available. Nearly 6 hours of conversations and no one had the decency to tell me the car wasn't available. Oh, but they had others they could ship me. Classic bait and switch. DON'T GO THERE. More
Stuck before the Millenium : Old School Sales Tactics I reached out to Roxanne (Internet Manager) to purchase a slightly used SUV and requested that we not play the games associated with car buying. Ever I reached out to Roxanne (Internet Manager) to purchase a slightly used SUV and requested that we not play the games associated with car buying. Every step of the way thru email after email she would not lock down the price in writing and had to "check with her manager". Then she popped the 898.00 dealer prep fee (100% pure profit to dealer) into deal as mandatory. She could not waive the fee nor would she work to get fee resolved thru deal thru pricing of unit being sold or trade in which is common. Then we went into "there's other interest in the vehicle, so we will let you know" to allow vehicle to sit and possibly sell for more thru Black Friday weekend. NO MORE ...we are more than happy to buy elsewhere. It should be noted that their dealer prep fee is the highest in the area and almost double what other dealers, even luxury brands, are charging. The dealership is in a low income area and I wonder if the population buying from them actually understands this fee and what it truly is. A lot of local dealers have started to remove it with pending litigation and possible Class Action status coming. I would NOT suggest this dealer to others and I highly suggest you visit other dealers and measure the true and absolute cost involved. Don't allow an old school dealer with decade old training and tactics treat you like they did back in the 90's. More
