Test drove a 2009 Hyundai Sante Fe on Tuesday - no check engine light. Go to buy the Hyundai on Wednesday - check engine light is on and there's zero gas in the car. We're told to talk to the finance guy. Finance guy says he doesn't handle that, talk to the sales guy on our way out. Sales guy says "oh could be anything, could be because she's low on gas." Sales guy also refuses to check it out, refuses to put any gas in the car even though she's on fumes. Put gas in the Hyundai but she only takes $8. It's a warning sign. Take Hyundai in to see what the check engine light is about on Thursday - faulty fuel gauge. $500 fix on a $5k car. You cannot tell me these shysters didn't know this car had this issue before they sold it to us. Buyer beware. They are crooks. I wouldn't buy air from these people on Mars. More

After purchasing a 2011 Jeep for my son I brough recommend buyer beware at a gretna Auto Outlet because the company does not stand behind its sales. After purchasing a 2011 Jeep for my son I brought the vehicle to my mechanic based on the mileage. The repairs have been mounting including alternator, axle work, and seat belt. Additionally, the rear main seal needs to be replaced. I called Bob back to see if Gretna Auto would partner with me on the rear main seal repair. Bob checked with the owner and manager and informed me they only made dollars on my vehicle. The best they could do is give me the name and number of their mechanic to get the repair done at their cost. When I asked about inspecting vehicles, I was told that they really didn’t do that based on the cost of the vehicle. Pretty much just changed the oil. I really wish that I would have read the reviews before buying a car from Gretna Auto Outlet. There seems to be a common thread of this dealership washing their hands of any issues after walking off the lot. I will not be going back to Gretna Auto for any future purchases and would advise everyone to look elsewhere for their next vehicle purchase. More
