After a review dealer called next morning and apologized they werent hiding the chip just didnt see it told me to get it fixed which i did and sent them the bill couple days later i had check in the mail this place is amazing thanks gretna auto outlet you score a 10 in my book

Hello Paula Hopkins. You purchased a 10-year-old vehicle with over 100,000 miles. You were offered a warranty and adamantly refused the warranty because you said "I have never purchased a warranty and they are a waste of money". Once you noticed an issue, we told you we would fix it. Unfortunately, used cars, as well as new ones, do break down, no one knows when that will happen. If cars didn't break down there would be no need for mechanics. We took it to our shop and looked it over. You spoke to our business manager and told him "if we didn't fix it then you would do everything in your power to ruin our reputation and business". YOU then hung up. We always work with our customers if an issue arises. You refused to spend money to purchase a warranty on an older, high mileage car because you didn't want to spend your money and now blame us for your choices.

I am truly sorry that we are communicating in this manner. I am being totally honest and sorry to say your manager hung up on me! I am not confused about that!! I wrote check for full amount of car trusting that you sell quality merchandise and would stand behind the sale especially when returned the very next day. Your mechanic had this vehicle for over a week. He should have heard the problem as I did when starting car when cold. I do not believe your mechanic could have missed this. I had the car for one day when returned for control traction service & stabilitizer service light on. This was not repaired and a wheel alignment was done & service light was turned off and control traction not changed/ repaired. I knew I had to buy new tires and accepted that additional expense when purchased. So mechanics wheel alignment was a waste of time. Again, I am sorry that we are communicating in this manner. I think we should have agreed upon a way to share the expense of a catalytic converter. I firmly believe you knew this car was not in good operating condition given the full week plus given to your mechanic. I thought I was being especially generous to agree to buy car knowing it needed new tires. If there is a way to make some acceptable compromises, I would be happy to meet with you in person.

I have stated the honest truth. I would have thought an agreeable solution could have been to share the expense of catalytic converter since I had returned car for their mechanic to repair. I called Gretna Auto immediately and returned car the next day. I am a 70 year old woman who heard the problem when starting car. I do not believe a qualified mechanic would have missed this problem. I do feel I was taken and badly treated in this transaction.
