When we came on the lot we timed the sales staff to see how long it took them to greet me, as I am a women it is often hard to be taken seriously at a dealership but not at Gresham Toyota. I came on the lot with a pre-approved loan and was ready to buy. Travis sold me on a lease instead of a used car and I couldn't be happier. Yes all the standard dealership protocals were in place but all the staff were nicer than they had to be and I really enjoyed my experience. i purchased a used 05 subaru legacy from gresham toyota. when the vehicle was traded in it needed 2 new tires. so they replaced the worn out tires. well theres a problem with that. after i purchased the veh when the vehicle was traded in it needed 2 new tires. so they replaced the worn out tires. well theres a problem with that. after i purchased the vehicle i took the car to les schwab, where they informed me that you have to have the same tires all the way around or you run a risk of destroying your transmission and other parts. so i called the tire factory and sure enough they were right. so i went in to gresham toyota to inform them of the problem they offered to get me thier price on the same tires ($200)at the tire factory, i thought great so i called the tire factory and found out that if i had just walked in off the street it would have cost me $214. wow great thanks gresham toyota. so i called and spoke with Ken H for a second time and informed him that they didnt even get me a deal and that it was thier mistake and i am paying for it. Ken spoke with his boss and called me back and informed me that they couldnt and wouldnt do anything. well thanks guys, i now get to go and spend $200 when i dont have that kind of money. i have lived in gresham my whole life and have heard that they are family owned and all well i have my own family to take care of and i see that they dont care about thier customers. so thank you gresham toyota, i will pass the word of how you guys have screwed me over. Tommy contacted me by email shortly after I had solicited a quote for a new Tacoma through edmunds.com. After communicating with several dealer/sales people I came to realize exactly what I wanted in my new a quote for a new Tacoma through edmunds.com. After communicating with several dealer/sales people I came to realize exactly what I wanted in my new Tacoma and Tommy was able to secure one for a price that I was happy with. Since getting the truck I wanted involved a Dealer Trade, Gresham Toyota wanted a $500 dollar deposit. I paid the cashier and Tommy brought me a contract for the new truck with the VIN listed. I noticed that the total due didn't seem to include my $500 "deposit." Tommy "remedied" this by including the $500 manufacturers discount that was current at the time I was purchasing. This "glitch" was remedied, but did require some vigilance on the customer's side. Overall, the experience buying a new car from Gresham Toyota and Tommy Johnson was easy, relaxed and enjoyable. I wasn't even pressured into any extras in the finance office! A first for me. I love my Tacoma and will definitely use Gresham Toyota in the future. More
