The level of customer service we experienced when purchasing a new Toyota Rav4 was as exemplary as it was surprising. We were greeted warmly by every employee, from the sales floor to the Service and Parts departments (yes, our sales rep, Lonnie Timmons, made a point of taking us around the dealership to introduce us). I'll be the first to admit that I hate car dealers in general and car salesmen in particular, but the experience at Gresham Toyota was relatively painless, and Lonnie went out of his way to answer all our questions, including follow-up after we took delivery. We paid what I consider a fair price for the vehicle - not a bargain, but then I didn't push aggressively on the price and wasn't interested in prolonging the time spent at the dealer just to try to squeeze a few more dollars out. I was somewhat disappointed that the paperwork closeout process included a long list of "add-ons" by the Finance manager. That seems to be standard practice at Toyota dealers - the same thing happened when I bought a Tundra at another dealer a few years back - but I wish they'd just be up front about it and offer options like extended warranty, paint protection, anti-theft devices, etc. at the outset as part of the available option package. It's wierd to have those pushed by the Finance manager, but ours was reasonable and didn't give us a hard sell, taking 'no' for an answer when we declined some of them. More

We had an electrical problem with our 2005 Toyota Prius, which caused the headlights to fail. I took it in to Gresham Toyota, and not only did they immediately identify the problem, they found two other pr which caused the headlights to fail. I took it in to Gresham Toyota, and not only did they immediately identify the problem, they found two other problems covered by warranty and/or recalls which they fixed quickly at no charge. In the process of waiting, I noticed that the dealer had received the first new models of the Prius V. While looking at one, I was approached in a very courteous, friendly way and asked if I needed any information. That led to a test drive a week later, and since we had so many miles on our Prius, we made the decision to trade ours in and buy the new model. The person who helped us, Dan Roemmich, answered every question, took the time to research our requests (my wife wanted some specific options), handled every bit of the financing, and basically made it the best car buying experience we have ever had (and we have done this a time or few). We have had service done by this dealer in the past, and have always felt like we received concierge service (as an example, when I dropped off the Prius for service, they gave both me and my large dog a courtesy shuttle home. When the new Prius needed to have a protective coating applied to the paint, they arranged for a rental car at no charge. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough! More

I had been entertaining the idea of buying a truck for over a year or two. On my way back from fishing I stopped by Gresham Toyota after emailing with them in regards to a specific truck. They did their best to find the exact truck I was looking for. After locating the truck and initiating a dealer trade, the exchange fell through. At this point I wasnt sure what kind of black magic the dealership was trying to pull and was distrustful and disappointed. Jarvis assured me that they would find the truck that I wanted and deliver it within a timely manner. After a few weeks of back and forth email updates my truck arrived. I went through the dreaded process of negotiating and financing with the dealership and to be honest, it was not that bad. Jarvis was extremely personable and not the dealer stereotype I was expecting nor was the financing manager. I would recommend Jarvis for any transaction in the future and I have already recommended him to a friend. More

We came to Gresham Toyota in July of this year looking at the Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 for the first time. Marc Jarvis was the salesperson who came out to answer our questions. He didn't rush us thru to get on to the next "buying" customer, but spent over two hours at that time. He was very considerate of our needs and took the time to answer all of our questions at that time and gave us his card with the brochure on the vehicle. We sold our Mazda yesterday and knew right where we wanted to go for our Tacoma...Marc Jarvis and Gresham Toyota.
