My experience with Gresham Toyota was the BEST I have ever had at a car dealership! Lonnie Timmons was very knowledgable and friendly. I took my car in for an oil change at Toyota in Gresham. This was my first visit to this dealership and I could not be any happier with the experience. When I picked my car up I was happy to learn that they replaced one bulb which was out complimentary. I also asked if they had a military discount and they said not officially but immediately offered 10% with a smile. After that I was given an Andy mint (which I love) and told that there is a bottle of water waiting in my freshly vacuumed car. This dealership is the Disneyland of all dealerships. I recommend this place to everyone! I was so well taken care of I don't plan to go anywhere else and also now plan to purchase my next car from Toyota! Thank you so much! More

I bought my first Prius from Gresham in 2001 and had it until last week when it died at 209000 miles - could have gotten it fixed but for $4-6k and that was more than the blue book resale value, so I was forced into a new car - too bad since I love to drive my cars forever. That said, Lonnie is very knowledgeable and a gentleman. He took on actions items for me in finding ways to get something for my old Prius. He showed/explained to me in detail all about the new Prius Plug-in technology (that is the model I ended up buying). He spent hours with me explaining, comparing Prius C, V, regular Prius and Prius Plug-in models. He is truly enthusiastic, curious and interested and is always in a learning and listening mode. He is also caring and genuinely cheerful and supportive. I could have bought my car from another dealer. I was actually renting a plug-in from another dealer so I was in a way primed for buying from that dealer, but Lonnie's manner and I can truly say friendship made it easy and natural to buy from him and thus Gresham Toyota. I also feel/know that I can call Lonnie anytime in the future with questions. I do not feel that the sale ended when I signed the purchase papers. Thank you Lonnie. I am very disappointing in this dealership service sale (used car). We bought a certified 2009 Toyota Camry XLE about 2 weeks ago. We bought the car at a night time. A day after we bought the car, we realize there is a missing small silver rectangular cover next to the gear. I call Wayne right away, he is our sale man, telling him the situation, also email him a picture of the missing cover space in the car. He said he will check email and with his people to see if they can fix it for us. I didn't hear back from him the next day, and the day after that. I call and leave messages with the receptionist, but still no call back, after a few call the receptionist promise me Wayne will call me back, but he never did. Finally a week later i ask to speak to manager (Jim). The manager told me he will check with his people and will call me back, unfortunately he also didn't call me back, Wayne finally did sent me an email saying that it is not cover under certified, he didn't even bother to call me or telling me the cost to fix it in his email. I found the cost of the missing cover from another toyota dealership and it is about five dollar. Reason for my disappointment. 1) How can you sell a certified vehicle with a missing part and not inform the buyers about it, certified vehicle suppose to be the best condition used vehicle. 2) It took about a week and half to reply to my request, it only took the other dealership 10 minutes. 3) Is it because of $5 dollar you guy didn't want to deal with me, I bought a $17,500 car, doesn't make any sense. I will make sure all my friends and family know about service of this dealership, they do not care about the customer once they made the sale and got their money. More
at first they were all nice and humble when i was looking for a car. after i bought a car from them, they turned out to be the WORST people to deal with. I call them again and again and they dont have the co for a car. after i bought a car from them, they turned out to be the WORST people to deal with. I call them again and again and they dont have the courtesy to call back. i bought extra accessories to my car with them and it did not arrive til now. i would not recommend this dealership to anyone. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Gresham Toyota, and Lonnie specifically, were recommended to me by my mechanic, Steve at Dave . I called in advance so Lonnie had a general idea what I was looking for. When I got there he had exactly what I was looking for, at close to half the price I expected to pay, and it took me about 90 minutes. I came back later to finish up the paperwork and was there for maybe another 90 minutes. The entire experience was remarkable. I live in an entirely different part of town - about one hour away. Would not have even thought about going out there without the high recommendation. Now I'd go back thre in a second and recommend them to anyone. More
TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP! We bought a used vehicle that turned out to be a total LEMON. Cost us almost $3000 in repairs and then it stopped running altogether. We only owned it 7 weeks! Not normal! They were nice enough to let us return it and purchase a different used vehicle. If that were the end of the story, I would have rated them better. HOWEVER...since buying the second (replacement for the original) vehicle, we have had nothing but trouble with the paperwork! ALL OF THE ERRORS ARE ON THE PART OF GRESHAM TOYOTA! I've heard all the excuses (new employees, someone must have misplaced that, the finance guys didn't put that in the file, that happens in a different department, etc) and am TIRED of dealing with their incompetence. We haven't even made our first payment on this car yet and I have had to fix 5 errors that were THEIR ERRORS! I just want to be done with having to deal with these people. We dealt with numerous people. While the people are very nice, they don't seem to know what they're doing. I will NEVER buy another car from them and will tell everyone I know that this dealership is to be avoided at all costs. More
