Cameron is a young salesman who is professional and informative. I was impressed with his honesty and his ability to communicate with my wife and I like we were people, not customers. When we arrived informative. I was impressed with his honesty and his ability to communicate with my wife and I like we were people, not customers. When we arrived at Gresham Toyota we had no intention of purchasing a truck on that day. Cameron's hustle on the lot (he actually ran to get a truck for us to test drive), courteous demeanor and general candor made us comfortable enough to test drive a truck that was more expensive than we planned on looking at. Jim was the negotiator. He was polite and he and Cameron seemed to have a good relationship with each other. Jim twisted a few numbers for us …as all of them do……and we ended up making a deal. He was not pushy, gave us a couple thousand for my old, barely running truck and worked with us a bit on interest rates and financing terms. (I'm not much of a haggler so I'm sure I made it easy.) Travis was the final finance guy. He was very accommodating and finagled us a deal on a protection plan that is an extremely high value for me. I enjoyed working with all of them Lets face it, these guys are in the business of making money. They did a good job with their customer service and I was impressed with their teamwork. I bought a truck that was way more expensive than I planned on but ……..man o man, am I Happy with it!!!! I would recommend them. I also will consider buying from them again when my wife looks into a new SUV. Thanks guys. P.S. Cameron- Thanks for not being a pain in the ***. ;) Devan Jenkinson More
We were traveling from Coos Bay by way of Grants Pass and noticed a whine in our engine. My husband suspected the alternator was going bad when the car was slow to start. It was about 2pm when we arrived i noticed a whine in our engine. My husband suspected the alternator was going bad when the car was slow to start. It was about 2pm when we arrived in Gresham and were under the gun to complete an inspection on a house before sunset. Camren not only got the problem diagnosed quickly, but got us a rental car so we could complete our business. The car was ready for us that evening, but since we were still working, we picked it up the following morning. We dropped the rental off at the dealership and were on our way. Our dog travels with us and Ruth and the guys in parts made him and us feel very welcome while we were waiting. More
I felt no pressure - and that was my #1 concern. If ANY pressure, I leave! Overall experience was excellent! Jim and Ray were my salesmen and I worked with Suzanne in finance. Enjoyed them all! My beloved Toyota truck has 190,000 miles on it -- and I want to get another 190,000 miles out of it. Thanks to these guys at Gresham Toyota, my chances of that happening are much greater. A engine oil want to get another 190,000 miles out of it. Thanks to these guys at Gresham Toyota, my chances of that happening are much greater. A engine oil leak was discovered and I took my truck first to a quick-lube place, and then to a specialty shop to try and find out what was wrong. I know nothing about cars and I'm always expecting to get ripped off because of my lack of knowledge. The folks at Gresham Toyota took the time to explain my options -- and ended up saving me over $200 from the estimates I got from others. I have gone to them over the years and I absolutely trust them with my safety. They treated me with respect and I would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation. More

I was pleasantly surprised by most of the personnel in I was pleasantly surprised by most of the personnel in the experience of purchasing a vehicle at an unfamiliar dealership, but in particular I was pleasantly surprised by most of the personnel in the experience of purchasing a vehicle at an unfamiliar dealership, but in particular with my sales consultant, Cameron Katzenmeyer whose manner of professionalism was combined with warmth and authenticity. He was patient, very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and created a comfortable and safe environment with his relaxed approach. He has remained responsive to the post sale details, my own vehicle operational questions, and been prompt in his responses. I was also happy with friendly manner of Jim Lane and his responses to my questions and his excellent referral for an installer for my own radio. The service department was rapid in the one item that needed attention post sale and my wait was unexpectedly and pleasantly very brief. More
In the beginning (when I first bought my car from them) I was very satisfied. [Salesman's name removed at the request of the dealership] was very informative and above all very patient with me since I origin was very satisfied. [Salesman's name removed at the request of the dealership] was very informative and above all very patient with me since I originally looked at an Avalon Hybrid but was interested in what may be new with the Prius lineup. He showed my A Prius Plug-In which I immediately liked, so I bought it. The sale went well and I eventually got the trade-in value that I stood firm on, though I did have to haggle and send their offer back three times when they originally were offering thousands below Kelly Blue Book, which at first I did find rather insulting. But business is business in the world of car sales. Since then I have had to have the windshield replaced twice due to a defect which distorts vision at night (lights appear to have ghost images.) The two replacements were done promptly, and a loaner car was provided. But not only were the new windshields not any better, they were worse. The last communication I had with the service department was that they had to see what Toyota (corporate, I assume) wants to do next. That was 17 days ago. Three phone calls to them have gone unreturned. Even if they have no new information for me, it's highly unprofessional to not return phone calls. As we go into Fall, nights are getting longer and it's going to get to the point to where it won't be safe for me to drive it much. This is intensely frustrating because the rest of the car is perfect! But if the windshield creates a safety hazard, the rest of the car becomes useless. I also own a 2008 Toyota Sienna and I drive various Ford and Chevy SUVs at work - none of them have this windshield distortion. As if that isn't enough, I canceled an extended warranty I purchased by mistake within the refund period (I thought it was an service contract, so I goofed). I sent the cancellation request to Zurich (extended warranty company) via certified mail, and received a timely acknowledgement advising me it had been canceled at that Gresham Toyota-Scion would refund the cost, or in this case credit my account with the finance company. As of September 11, 2013 my account had still not been credited. The finance manager told me via email that he had never received word from Zurich and that I had to handle it, even though I had physically brought in a copy of Zurich's letter and I watched him photocopy it. A Zurich representative stated to me by phone that Gresham was notified by them on June 28, 2013. They contacted the finance manager while I waited on hold, and that seemed to light the proverbial "fire under their you-know-what" to get the refund process kicked into motion. We'll see how long it takes now. So between being put off by the service department for almost three weeks so far, and feeling as if I've been lied to by the finance department, you draw your own conclusion as to whether I would recommend this business or not. ("Fool me once shame of you,...") UPDATE: After 17 days of zero communication, I'm being told that their phone system was down for a few days. It took an email to a different department to find this out? UPDATE: Per recommendation in Toyota Owner's Manual, I called the dealer manager regarding the problems I've been experiencing. I left voicemail September 13. To date (9/24), my call has not been returned. I've given up and have hired a Lemon Law attorney. The Zurich refund finally came through in two installments (nearly three months after the cancellation request.) Although my review was complimentary toward the original salesman I dealt with, dealership personnel have politely asked me in an email to remove his name from the review. I have complied with that request. More
I bought my tundra there a few years ago and came in to trade it in and upgrade to another Tundra only to be BLOWN off and suckered in to coming in knowing what I was looking ahead of time and be lead to b trade it in and upgrade to another Tundra only to be BLOWN off and suckered in to coming in knowing what I was looking ahead of time and be lead to believe what I was looking for was going to happen! When I arrived I was there a short amount of time and told it didnt matter if I was a returning customer. I walked and later attemped to contact the Sales Manager a couple times leaving messages and never did get a return phone call. I wont be coming back there. Very disapointing and bad business. I would like to mention I did purchase my Tundra from another dealership and terms were reasonable and what I was looking for they were commited to me leaving happy which is more then I can say for Gresham Toyota More
Their salesman is a BIG jerk and a fat LIAR. And their services are not that great, we had to wait a fairly long time to get through their financing service. We went there with the intent to purchase a services are not that great, we had to wait a fairly long time to get through their financing service. We went there with the intent to purchase a Prius. We agreed with the salesman that we would purchase the car for X amount plus carpets. After we have signed the papers, we noticed that the car did not have the carpets like we requested. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they told us upfront and BEFORE pulling our credit scores and signing the papers. This was very UNACCEPTABLE, and many of you would be pretty upset. This was incredibly frustrating because we had a 2 year old and a 6 month old with us. By the end of the night they were tired and hungry. I feel like they intentionally made us wait since we had 2 kids and thought that we would just take the car anyway. We got to the dealer around 5p.m. and ended up with no car at 10:30p.m. I felt bad for my 6 month old son, he just cried and cried on his way home and many of you parents know how stressful this is. Not only they have wasted our time and flat out LIED to our face but putting my kids through this was uncalled for. I can't believe these people were purely dishonest and deceitful. Please don't waste you time and energy on Gresham Toyota. They are NOT trustworthy and overall big jerks. More
Watch out for Gresham Toyota, their lack of integrity is costing me almost $3000. I was told one thing and the final contract says something else. After I reviewed the contract they said they had to print costing me almost $3000. I was told one thing and the final contract says something else. After I reviewed the contract they said they had to print it again and discharge the first one because they forgot to add the financial institution name; but that wasn't all they added. Too bad for me for not going over the contract the second time, and shame on them for taking advantage of people like that. More
