Took my 2010 truck in for an oil change, was told that I needed $3,400 in repairs and they would send a video showing the leak. They said the oil change techs couldn't identify the leak, that I'd need to pa needed $3,400 in repairs and they would send a video showing the leak. They said the oil change techs couldn't identify the leak, that I'd need to pay $200.00 for a diagnostic by the master tech. Master tech looked at it, they sent me an electronic quote for $3.4000 (no hard copy). I asked 3 times to see the video, it was never emailed to me. Went to Les Schaub and showed them the electronic quote for the work. Les Schuab could do the work for $2,400, but said they would do a complete evaluation before, to be sure the work was needed. When I tried to retrieve the estimate for the proposed work from Toyota, it disappeared. Toyota told me they would try to match the Les Schuab price and call me the next day. They didn't call. Took the truck to Les Schaub and guess what, NONE of the work Toyota told me that was critical to get done, needed to get done! I've been going to Gresham Toyota for years and to be treated in this manner was unacceptable! More
