Dear Lindsay, I am writing to you regarding the experience you had with us here at Gresham Toyota beginning in August of 2009. As you know, sometimes we are faced with situations when dealing with 3rd party vendors, where we are not able to come to the resolution of a problem which will make everyone happy. This being said, we understand that these situations may not always work out to everyone’s full satisfaction. Please accept my most sincere apology for everything that happened. Hello, Thank you for your message. I think the only way to solve the problem at this point would be to give us the warranty we and Gresham Toyota originally agreed on, which is the full coverage warranty. We agreed on a payment for the full warranty, only to find out when something went wrong that we in fact only had minimal warranty coverage. When I tried to fix it originally there was no resolution and I realized the only thing I could do would be to warn people about the company so it would not happen to them. If there is anything you could do I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Following is a message from Doug. Hi Lindsay, I am sorry you feel the need to warn people about Gresham Toyota. I recognize your personal experience does not match our past two years of sales and service awards as a President's Award winning dealership in customer satisfaction and operations. That said, I would like to reach out to you to see if there is something we can do that win you back as a valued customer. However, the warranty level you are referring to is not an option for us to execute with the warranty company. With this in mind, can you suggest another reasonable token we could offer to you that would demonstrate we care about you as a customer and desire an on-going relationship with you in the future? The post from Galileo24 is from a purchase made in October 2008. We have attempted to satisfy the complaint to no avail and regret that they are not satisfied, but would like to clarify that the Oregon Department of Justice did close the complaint referenced. In conclusion, I would like to sincerely apologize for the situation regarding the experience with our 3rd party vendor. We do try our best to win the future recommendation of all our customers.

Hello, Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I apologize for the delay, my fiancee and I are planning a wedding and are coming up on the date very quickly. I understand that because the warranty involved another company there is some trouble satisfying my request. I think it is fair to say that there is a great difference between the two warranties in question. It should be mentioned that the warranty was not our only complaint. The behavior of the sales team was unprofessional and manipulative. How about free tune-ups and oil changes for the Focus at any Toyota dealership for the life of the car?
