Henry, I am very sorry that you have had some issues with your car. The vehicle you purchased from us was traded in by a long time customer of ours. This gentleman has been doing business with us since 1998. He is a personal friend of mine since high school. In fact, he purchased that vehicle from us approximately 5 years ago. What is most perplexing to us is not only did the vehicle check out very well at the shop but this gentleman takes incredible care of his vehicles. He is very particular about servicing and cleanliness. That being said, it does not change the fact that it is a man made imperfect object and it can break. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to be able to tell if a transmission will go out 6 months after someone purchases a car. And the fact that this was a 7 year old car with over 92k miles on it at the time of your purchase, makes it even harder to for tell any problems you may have down the road. That is why we offer, and encourage, extended warranties and/or service agreements for you to purchase to protect yourself against these incidents. However, I have to say that if it was in fact out of transmission fluid, then it would have had to leak out. A transmission will break down within minutes of not having any fluid in it. If it was dry, or without any fluid in it, then it had to have sprung a leak very recently, and a major one at that. It could have happened while you were driving minutes prior to your breakdown. Anyway, I do apologize for your difficulty and would like to extend an invitation to let us try to make it up to you down the road. We want all of our clients happy, even if some of their experience is out of our control. Eric Bigler
