I had been driving around a 1994 Nissan Maxima since I was a senior in high school (I am a sophomore in college now) and it kept having problems every other week. I finally said I was done with it and nee was a senior in high school (I am a sophomore in college now) and it kept having problems every other week. I finally said I was done with it and needed a new car. I went to Gregg Young because my boyfriend had bought a car from them about a month ago and had a great experience! I went in to see Jonathan and told him what I was looking for. Since I am currently pregnant, I wanted a reliable vehicle that had plenty of room for a child and was going to be a smooth ride. After looking at one car that was a little above my price range, we found a great 2006 Pontiac G6 that was perfect for me! The car exceeded my expectations. We got the car at a good price that was affordable for me and I knew would be reliable. Jonathan was very helpful and he even encouraged my mom to come back and trade in her Town and Country that she has had since I was little. Great service and Great dealership! Will be recommending my family and friends to visit Jonathan at Gregg Young when they need new cars! More
We went in with no real need to buy a car, but walked out with a lower-mileage, beautiful Malibu for lower payments. We can't thank Troy and Charles and all the staff enough - we've never had a bad experienc with a lower-mileage, beautiful Malibu for lower payments. All the staff are friendly and courteous, the dealership is clean, and they worked hard to get us a super deal. More
I stopped by Gregg Young last Sunday. I really hadn't planned on buying a car at that time, but wanted to look around a bit. The used car market has changed drastically in the last couple of years. I'd g planned on buying a car at that time, but wanted to look around a bit. The used car market has changed drastically in the last couple of years. I'd gotten a bit frustrated with the selection, pricing, assistance (or lack there of), over the last couple of months while looking for a used car for my daughter. It's a bit of a sellers market out there, and this attitude was previously reflected in the 6 or 7 dealerships I'd visited. I was presently surprised to find a completely different attitude displayed by Pat Effrein at Gregg Young Chevrolet. Working with Pat was like working with an old friend. No games, no pressure, no tricks, and no bait and switch tactics. I'm very happy with how the entire processed worked. Hats off and many thanks to Pat and Greg Young Chevy team. All dealerships and there people are not the same! More
I had been browsing through cars on the internet for a few days when a Camaro at Gregg Young caught my eye. I stopped by the dealership to look at the Camaro I had seen on the internet and I was greeted few days when a Camaro at Gregg Young caught my eye. I stopped by the dealership to look at the Camaro I had seen on the internet and I was greeted at the store's front door by a very pleasant sales associate, Jonathan Gunderson. He demonstrated a lot of knowledge about the products offered at Gregg Young (not just the car I was interested in, but also the optional equipment I could purchase, service, etc). After the test-drive my mind was made up, that Camaro was the perfect car for me!! Jonathan worked with the used vehicle sales manager, Jason Roessner to get me the best deal possible on my dream car. My experience at Gregg Young was amazing!! The staff is very courteous and respectful, from the receptionist to the chef to the sales staff and managment that I was fortunate enough to work with. Thank You Gregg Young, I will definitely be back (and I will send my friends and colleagues in to do business with Jason and Jonathan too). More
My teenage son and I spent a lot of time looking for a pre-owned vehicle. We stopped by Gregg Young to check out their used car inventory. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of cars and trucks th pre-owned vehicle. We stopped by Gregg Young to check out their used car inventory. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of cars and trucks they had to choose from. The prices and the quality of their inventory was far superior to the other dealers in that area we had visited. I wish we would have started our search at Gregg Young, it would have saved us a lot of time and stress. The sales and management staff made this one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have had. Everyone in the store went the extra mile to make sure my son was pleased with his Malibu. Thanks Gregg Young, we will see you again soon for our next new car! More
Worst experience ever!! Let me begin by stating the salesmen we worked with were not the problem; they were helpful and were not pushy and they did what they could to take care of us. However, we had t salesmen we worked with were not the problem; they were helpful and were not pushy and they did what they could to take care of us. However, we had to wait over 3 hours to get into the Finance Manager as they were "short staffed" and then it was closing time so they told us they would handle all the paperwork and call us in Monday to finalize all the paperwork. We had already notified them of the rate we could get with our bank (which was good) and they said they could get better so we waited. The first day of the purchase there was a problem with the vehicle, we notified them immediatly with the intention of them making it right. WOW this did not happen!! We took it in to get fixed and they put a bandaid on it and said we fixed the problem by balancing and rotating the tires. Oh they did fix the cruise! The same day after fix I hear the same noise. I go back in and the manager says well I've already put as much money in to this vehicle as I can if you would like, you can trade it in for something else or I will split the repairs with you. I said "No! You need to fix it." So they take it in again they say oh its the right strut, we will fix it. I pick up the car and within 24 hours still the same noise. I say to myself "this is not possible!" But t is... So I take my 2008 Cadillac Escalade to Cadillac. I pay for a complete diagnostic check, I havent owned the vehicle for more than 15 days. Cadillac says well your left strut is completely shot and you have a transmission line leaking. They said this car would've never been on their lot in this condition, these are common things evaluted and fixed at any REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP before the vehicle ever hits the lot. So they give me the print out and I take it back to Greg Young again less than 15 days of purchase. I show them what Cadillac says needs fixed or major problems will happen. Again the Manager says well we are in this too much, what do you want to do. I then notify them I am going to turn this incident into the BBB and so forth and also say I just want to return it. He says well how about I split the repairs with you; repair total was like around $1000. I said no, I want to return the vehicle. So finally after many wasted hours they fix the problem. During all this nightmare we were still dealing with the closing of the purchase, I had put a thousand dollars down, my bank had already cut them a check for the vehicle. I gave them a check and I forgot to sign it! The Finance jabroni calls me and says you forgot to sign your check, I tell him I am sorry and I will be in tomorrow as I have to take my wife to the hospital right now and will not be able to make it in today, we were literally driving to the hospital. The Jabroni Finance guy then threatens me, you need to come in and sign the check sometime today! I lost it and said I am returning the vehicle and hung up. Within 2 minutes, the general manager texts me "sorry please call asap." So I call and he apologizes for the Jabroni Finance guy and says tomorrow will be fine. So we get this all straight. Well then after this nightmare, my wife goes to the DMV over her lunch break to license my vehicle the day before my 30 days expires. Oh wait it gets better!! The DMV tells me they do not have my title from Greg Young yet, so I call Greg Young and they said they were going to put it in the mail today, as they had to hold it for 10 days after the close of the purchase on outside financing and we can pick it up today. So at this point, I think "it can not get any worse." Well the it gets even better, now I noticed the key faub, I had was broken. When you buy a vehicle from Greg Young one of the perks is you get free faub replacement for 1 year. So I take it in and tell them I need to replace the faub and they tell me how much it will cost. I then tell them this should be under the "key faub coverage". The service manager then says ok we will get this ordered. Three weeks go by and I didn't hear anything, I decide to call, hey is my faub in? Oh yeah come in and get it. I then go in and it takes an hour for them to program the key, then the guy comes in and says your all done that will be $218.50 I told him this should be covered by the one year faub replacement, and he argues with me "this service is only for new cars", He then makes some phone calls finds out he is wrong and starts to apologizes over and over. At this point I am fed up and tell him this place is a joke, I bet you you didnt even buy your car here. No response..... I told him I will never come back here or ever recommend anyone. I am very disappointed with Gregg Young Chevrolet. In the past, I had my Chevrolet Cobalt serviced here and they were always kind. I thought I could trust them. The madness began three weeks ago when I came past, I had my Chevrolet Cobalt serviced here and they were always kind. I thought I could trust them. The madness began three weeks ago when I came in to look at cars and see what they could do for me. I had gotten into a car accident three weeks ago and was looking to see if I could finance a vehicle on my own. I came to them because I expected more from them but this wasn't the case. At first, the salesman Mike was kind. I was also working with one of the sales managers, Eric. The situation changed for me on being able to put money down however so I had to go back and see if I could get financed completely. I have a precarious situation since I've only had credit for two years. When I went there, they looked at two vehicles both of which were well above their value. I met with the finance manager Charles. With my situation it took a while but then he came back and said that he fibbed my income a little to make it so I could get a loan. Then something apparently came through. I had to put 500 dollars down. I went to the other finance guy Scott Lee and signed the papers. At this point, I wasn't made aware this was a spot delivery situation. 14 days later the call comes that I have to return the car. Basically Charles called me sounding very annoyed and hectic over the phone saying that the bank stated that I failed the customer interview. I found that strange since the bank called that very morning, but he stated in an exasperated manner that the bank was lying about the contract not being sent back. Either way, I waited one more day to see if the bank would come through. Next day, Charles says I must return the car which is understandable because at this point it's not mine. The loan didn't come through. What really disgusted me is how they took advantage of girl in my situation. I'm looking for someone reputable to buy from. After Scott showed me the other banks, I told him not to even bother since all of them wanted proof of income. They would want proof of income for 2800 which clearly would come to light that I did not make that much. What was even more interesting was that Gregg Young cashed my check with the down payment on it as if the loan already went through. I am of course getting that money back. I better be with the crappy service and dishonesty exuded from everyone that I worked with. I would say that you should be careful doing business with this particular chevy dealer. If I were you, I would check out H and H first. At least they didn't try to lie to me about my situation. They are very straight forward. I would also try Nissan that's right up the street. They are also very straight forward. I see this dealership as nothing more than a bunch of individuals so desperate to make money that they don't care about a customer's situation all the time. Sounds like they are willing to take advantage of people in bad situations and throw their hands up when their schemes fall apart. I would recommend not going alone and bringing a friend who knows about cars and won't be pushed around by these guys. Maybe if I had a different sales representative, things could have been better. Just went in to trade my 1991 Corvette for a 2007 Eclipse. This Chevy dealer has not a single Corvette on their lot but yet has a Corvette Shop in their dealership. They offered me $2000 for my Gor Eclipse. This Chevy dealer has not a single Corvette on their lot but yet has a Corvette Shop in their dealership. They offered me $2000 for my Gorgeous Black Corvette that constantly turns heads that I just placed on Car Gurus for $7000 as what they consider a good deal valued at $9,026 in the Midwest (check it out for yourself). They also would not consider budging on their price of their car which is right at market price (you can also check that car out on Car Gurus.) Not to mention when I first looked at the Eclipse on Monday the price of the car was $13,595. I went today on Saturday after I put a down payment of $500 on it and their new price to me was $13,959. Long story short...what a rip off! No wonder they can build such a huge building on 180th when they steal everyone's cars!!! What kind of Chevy dealer doesn't have/want a Corvette on their lot? More

I was concerned about rust on the truck because it was from a region that gets alot of snow and salt on the roads.Evertime I asked about rust,I was told no rust cleanest used tuck on the lot. Now since I was driving 1200 miles one way, I kept asking about the rust repeatedly only to get the same awnser,no rust clean truck. Well the exterior pics looked great and the miles were extremly low so i trusted what I saw and took them at their word. I drove the 12oo miles only to discover that the under carrage was eat up with rust so bad that i could peel layers of rust off at a time from the springs. The brake drums and caliper were eat up as well. The real fraud was they attempted to undercoat the truck the day before i got there. The undercoat paint was still wet.The truck also appeared to have been repainted! They are very dishonest! They flat out lied to me! There is no other way to put it!I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
