Don't get everything for your money! I am truly disappointed with the service from Gregg Young. We were given only one ignition key with computer chip, no driver’s manual, and absolutely no instructions on how to operate the interior functions on the vehicle. I took the vehicle back to Gregg Young and was informed the remote they provided was not properly and they agreed to replace this remote. On my trade-in, I provided two remotes with each having a car key attached and a third key without a remote. I inquired about receiving a spare remote and a spare ignition key; however, if I wanted either item, I was required to purchase them myself. (I believe these instructions came from Alex.) They said they had no manuals to give me and I would have to purchase one on the internet and they range from $45-$55 upward. I paid cash for my car where I was then told they would have preferred I finance through the dealership (per Travis). I am partially to blame because I wanted to buy a Buick and should have gone to a Buick dealer rather than a Chevrolet dealer. I am reluctant in recommending Gregg Young Chevrolet for fear they will experience the same frustrations as I have. More
Made mistakes and very unprofessionally disorganized. I went to this dealership knowing specifically what I wanted as far as getting a great used car and I was not surprised to find out that they did not I went to this dealership knowing specifically what I wanted as far as getting a great used car and I was not surprised to find out that they did not have it on their lot. I had a great experience with my sales person, Alisha. She was helpful and prompt with helping me locate a vehicle that I loved and was great in the sales process. Communication with her and the dealership was professional, friendly and prompt and was far above satisfactory. However, after I agreed on the sale and was handed over to finance, my experience quickly went sour. First, the information on the sales paperwork that I signed was incorrect. The color and mileage was incorrect which put me at risk with my insurance company. Should I have gotten into an accident and needed to make a claim, I would likely have not gotten compensation due to the discrepancy. This inconsistency was caught on one item during the process and fixed. However, the inaccuracy was on all of the other paperwork and was not scrutinized until much later after I had left the dealership. I tried to get it corrected and the finance representative never got back with me on it. I later tried to get the vehicle licensed and was halted until the discrepancies were corrected. I finally got it corrected the today, the day before my temp tags ran out. Now I will have to take more time from work to get my license plates. Another problem from the same office was that the incorrect VIN was put on my loan voucher and was not caught until almost two weeks after the sale when it was returned to them. I had to use my own time to work with my bank for a replacement voucher just to get that resolved which delayed my licensing more than I wanted. Also, during the sale process, I wanted a spare tire added to the car as part of the deal instead of the inflator system the car came with. Since it was not a factory option, I was told I needed to pay $600 more to get a new tire and rim (Camaro SS tires are more). The verbal agreement was that if they found me a used or pre owned tire, I would be refunded the difference in prices between new and used. Three weeks after me getting the used spare tire into my trunk by the dealership, I have yet to see resolution or answers on this price which is what I had based part of my decision to buy it in the first place. At this point, despite the great sales staff and friendly positive experience up front, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. My problems seem to lie in the finance department. Although most of the staff is friendly, courteous, competent and professional, the few who are ruining it for me are a weak link to the organization and are a very poor representation on the entire dealership. They are starting at this point to fix my issues without offering any compensation to my headaches and inconvenience. So much for going the extra mile. At this point, the dealership has lost a lot of credibility with me. If I could reverse the sale and they take back their car and I get back my money, I would jump on that opportunity. Update 1 May 15: So the DMV does not have a title on file because the dealership waited until the morning that my temp tags expire to send it in the mail. On top of that, the title is incorrect and they are trying to recall it from the post office to get it fixed. The title clerk, Ryan promised that they would have loaner car out to my house around 5pm after I get home from work. At 540, still no loaner. Call up to see what is going on. That is when they decided to dispatch a car to me. So 31 days after I buy the car, they have their money. I am out several thousand dollars, no car, no title, no refund from the used part that I paid for new, and no peace. Update 11 May 15, I was told by the used car sales manager that for my trouble on the tire, they would send me a $100 gift card for a local restaurant. I was also told by the finance manager that he would top off my tank with gas the next time I was up there. This was over a week ago. Friday (8 May), I was finally told that they got the old messed up title and that the new one was ready. I met them at the DMV and I got it licensed. The general manager called me up shortly after and I let him know more about the situation than his own staff apparently had told him. He said he would get back with me on Saturday. He finally texted me this morning and offered me a gift card to the restaurant and a tank of gas, the same two things I have already been promised but have yet to see. So the extra mile is only about a $145 value. Also, I got my car back with just under a third of a tank, it had to travel several miles to the dealership and back and despite the car wash they have on site, it was not washed. Update 15 May 15, I talked with Gary, the general sales manager and supposedly the man in charge of the entire dealership. I told him about all of my issues. When asked, I said that really the only thing that would make me happy now is a full refund. His reply was that he could not do it. I asked who could. He said he was the top man at the dealership and no one was above him without going to Gregg Young himself. So basically he can do it but refuses to do it. I was told also that I would be refunded a check of $125 to cover the $82 I spent filling up the loaner car and extra to cover the tank of gas I was promised several weeks earlier. I was also told that I would finally get that $100 gift card. The gift card I could care less about but it was the principle. During our conversation, he discounted what I said and called it all buyer’s remorse. When I tried to tell him about the lies and insults that I had received, he cut me off from explaining with “I doubt at all that you were lied to or insulted”. The items finally came in the mail. The check was only for $82 and the gift card for $50. So yes, again, par for the course, I was lied to. But it was my integrity called into question when we spoke. I would tell my family, my friends, my coworkers, my college classmates, my social circles, my military unit, my fellow veterans, and my social networks to avoid this dealership totally. More

I received a phone call fr I worked with KT originally to purchase a used Traverse - and unfortunately I didn't find anything on Saturday, March 14th. I received a phone call from Alex Young on Monday, March 16th, asking us to come in at 6:35 PM (please note the specific time) to meet with KT again, as there were more Traverses that they wanted us to look at. When my wife and I went to the dealership on Wednesday, I was informed that Alex wasn't there (at a seminar) and that KT was off that day. No one had a clue as to our meeting - so another salesman, Ken, offered to help us. Unfortunately, there weren't any new vehicles on the lot either - but we informed Ken that there was a Traverse at a dealership in Cedar Rapids, IA (4 hours away from Omaha). Ken and Andy (used car manager) offered to look in to doing a dealer purchase on that car if we were interested. On Friday, March 20th, Ken called me and asked if I would be willing to put a $500 security deposit as a show of good faith towards our interest in buying the car. I (stupidly) gave him my debit card information, and was assured by Ken twice that if we bought the car, then the $500 would go towards the purchase of the vehicle. If we decided not to buy it, then the money would be refunded. Ken then drove Cedar Rapids himself to get the car and bring it back. He called me to inform me it was in Omaha, and I asked him if it was a smoker car (an absolute deal breaker in our mind). Ken said no, it was perfect and we arranged to come look at it. When we got there, it smelled like smoke, so my wife and I indicated that we were going to look elsewhere. Andy and Ken offered to have the car cleaned, detailed and ionized to make an attempt to get rid of the odor. On March 30th, we went back to look at the car and found that it was clean, but we were having second thoughts and VERY reluctant to work with Ken at this point. We had also found another Traverse at another dealership (Sid Dillon in Blair, NE). On Tuesday, March 31st, we test drove that vehicle and had such a good experience with Sid Dillon that we decided to purchase the car. Afterwards, I called Ken to break the bad news - and (predictably) he was upset....and he had every right to be. However, when I checked my bank account shortly thereafter, I saw that Gregg Young had taken $1,000 out of my account. There was no notice or update from the dealership - they simply helped themselves to my money. I called Ken and Andy several times, trying to get a reason why this happened. Both of them indicated around 4:30 that they were looking into it and would call me back in a few minutes. I didn't hear from either of them for two hours, and neither returned my multiple calls. I finally got Ken on the phone, who simply said that the money was going to be reimbursed. Ken didn't offer an explanation. He certainly didn't offer an apology. He didn't say when the money would be returned or in what fashion. He simply said "it will get back to you" and hung up. More

I calle I went to this dealership based on the reviews. I was very happy with the service! My truck was acting up and I did not. know what was wrong. I called the service and talked to Chris Deegen. He set my appt and got me a loaner to drive. Even though it would not act up for him,he did find some things I needed to fix. Got them done,am very happy and he told me we could wait for another act up and call him and he would send a tech out to look at it. I now fell like I have a place to take my truck. I moved here 1 1/2 yrs ago from Texas. This will also be where I go first to make my next purchase! Thanks Chris. More

When confronted with this, I was told that they would not have listed it at that price because they could not make any money. My husband called a different salesman and he acknowledged the original price and was shocked that the price had changed so drastically. We came to a sales price of $12,900, so not exactly bait and switch, but pretty close. Once a trade value was offered on our van ($10,800 when it books for $12,600) and we agreed since we are eager to get a larger vehicle for our growing family. Financing application filled out, credit run, interest rate agreed to. Two days of waiting later, we are told that they cannot get a finance company to lend on the van for any more than $7,500, what it books for. Obviously we don't have the $5,400 down (44% of sales price.) More

Was lied to about the interest rate I qualified for by their finance department. Was bullied by their sales manager Andy after we brought back the new car that had a door that was malfunctioning and scrat their finance department. Was bullied by their sales manager Andy after we brought back the new car that had a door that was malfunctioning and scratches on the steering wheel and glove box. Then I was dumb enough to get sold a second vehicle from them. They filled out the tax form wrong and called me days after I had already left with the signed paperwork, including the tax form, and told me that they made a "mistake" or I believe "human error" was the term they used and that I would be responsible to pay the extra $1500. Then they had the audacity to mail me a new tax form with a handwritten letter telling me I needed to sign the new tax form and take that one to the DMV. I found this to be unacceptable, especially since I was already in question of their integrity. I talked to Gary the GM and said I did not want to take financial responsibility for their negligence and he refuses to accept responsibility for the mistake and tells me that Gregg Young's number is not available. This whole thing has been a nightmare and all I want is for them to take responsibility for their mistake and to speak with Gregg Young so he can hear exactly how his employees have treated me. More
