2009 Honda Civic SiI got an estimate on my car for 2009 Honda Civic Si I got an estimate on my car for $582.18 because it wasn't blowing strong or that cold after replacing the A/C compressor. Then I was told that I needed to the Filter Sub‐assy 80340 / part number HP80101-S9A-13. I kid you not, they charged me $788.47 because they said they were charging me for the freon! Then I told them that that is not true because they recycle the freon, and then they put it back in your car when they are done working on it. They tried telling me that it wasn't written on the quote they gave me, and when I showed them the paper, their excuse changed. It says on the quote "Operations: 616120 A/C Receiver Dryer, r&r (ADD Evacuate &Recharge) 2 09/11" I was so frustrated to feel so RIPPED OFF by "HONDA DEALERSHIP"! I the worse part is that they left my car EXACTLY with the same problem as if they actually did NOTHING to it. I wouldn't put it past it that they didn't even work on it! When I showed them how it doesn't even blow any harder pushing the Max A/C button, he said "it probably needs a new blower". "It has a week old blower", I answered. So then he said it was the filter then. "It has a brand new 4 day old K&N cabin filter I answered". What does that have to do with the car not blowing cold as it should. "Well it caused restriction because of the thickness of the filter since it is base oil filter". I explained that the car has always had a K&N filter and before the clutch on the compressor went out, it blew so hard that I had to put the fan speed on one, and it would still be freezing in the car! He said that that is as cold as the 2009 Honda Civic Si blow! So BASICALLY I took my car to a "HONDA dealership" who doesn't know how to fix something, nor how the product the sell actually should function! I am DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED by the way they left my car, yet overcharged me $393.71 from their original quote only to leave my car in the same condition! It wouldn't have been so bad if they would've at least made it work as it should! More
