Raja Madwani, my sales professional, was absolutely superb and an awesome person. I drove up to the dealership and he was waiting outside for me, and he smiled and shook my hand and into the showroom w superb and an awesome person. I drove up to the dealership and he was waiting outside for me, and he smiled and shook my hand and into the showroom we went. I wasn't really expecting to buy a car from them, and I was just cross comparing numbers from Volvo and Cadillac for their leases. I already had an approval from Volvo for their CARE subscription, but I decided to just cross compare and see what else was out there. My time was limited and I couldn't go to every single dealership, but the reason why I chose Mazda was because the Consumer Reports report had just been released and Mazda was ranked in the top six, along with Honda and Toyota. This would make sense because Mazda is being built in the joint Toyota / Manufacturing plant in Huntsville Alabama. So not only do you get a quality vehicle built to Toyota standards, you pay fair market for it. In contrast, Ford has quality issues with it's trucks being built in the Dearborn, Michigan plant, but the prices of the trucks are sky high. The consumer has to be responsible and pay attention to these things, such as the social-economic effects on the population where the manufacturing plant is physically located, as well as the political implementations of pre-and-post COVID measures that directly affects the skill and education of the workforce. The democratic heavy handed policies of the state of Michigan destroyed it's human capital, which is now reflected in real world financial losses for Ford which is measured in numbers that start with "B", as in Billions. Consequently, Alabama, which is predominantly Republican, has been able to take advantage of a skilled workforce and labor environment due to its pre and post COVID environment and therefore is able to offer these vehicles. Because of that, dealerships like Greenway Mazda exist and they are able to sell these vehicles without trying to screw over the consumer because they know that the fundamental structural underpinnings of the company are sound. Deep down, Ford and Chevy know they are sinking, so it's a race to screw every consumer and the individual entities are just trying to pass the hot potato before it goes off. But to finalize the review, and get back on point, Raja Madwani is a great salesperson. He cut straight to the point, was able to offer the vehicle at MSRP, and gave me a great value for my trade in. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, is a car aficionado as well, and was able to make it happen. I wouldn't hesitate dealing with him. If your serious about buying, then he's serious about selling. I had to finance the car very aggressively to get the .09 percent interest rate, so you will have to have money to buy the cars. Gone are the days where you could just go to the Chevy dealership and buy a car for no money down, zero percent, for 60 months. We're in a new reality though, and if you can leverage it just a bit then this is probably the best value your going to get this year. More
