Money well spent I came into the dealership with a leaking left front tire. Requested Jarvis as my service advisor and as we talked about the problem and he said he wo I came into the dealership with a leaking left front tire. Requested Jarvis as my service advisor and as we talked about the problem and he said he would have the tire checked and repair the leak if possible. I also asked him to evaluate all the tires to see if it was time to replace them. I have a little over 76000 miles on the car with the original tires still on the vehicle. The tires had a 60000 mile life expectancy and we had talked about how much longer I could expect out of them when I was in for the 75000 mile service just a few weeks ago. Based on the tread depth and overall condition of the tires, he thought I could conceivable make it to the 80000 mile service before replacing them. Well the left front tire had a nail in it and he said it was in a place on the tire which made it unrepairable. He said the other 3 tires looked ok and could go for 3 or 4000 miles but he would have to replace the left front but I could tell he wasn't crazy about doing that. He told me the true facts where some service advisors might have said "you need to replace all 4 now". We discussed my options and he said he would do whatever I wanted to do, no pressure from him. He had also said the reason I got 16000 more miles out of my tires was because I follow the Kia recommended service consistently to include tire rotation. Well I opted to replace all 4 tires and I will continue to follow the maintenance plan for the car. I would further like to say that I have been dealing with Jarvas even before I bought the optima in 2015. He knows his business and I know I can trust whatever he says about my vehicle and he won't be trying to rip me off on anything. He just gives me the facts and then gives me his recommendation. Excellent Service! I had my 08 KIA Sedona towed in to the shop. All four brakes were locking up. They found the issue and resolved the problem. The whole team is awesome! I was pretty apprehensive about the process as I'm a female who has never had a car payment and went in alone, but Jim and the whole team were fantast I was pretty apprehensive about the process as I'm a female who has never had a car payment and went in alone, but Jim and the whole team were fantastic. They had no problem explaining every part of the process and really made it as easy as possible. They worked hard to get a payment I was comfortable with and to make sure I understood every step along the way. There was zero pressure or haggling, and I always felt like I was completely in control. I love my new car and people can't believe how quickly I was able to complete the process. I think the team spoiled me a bit because there is no possible way anyone else could beat the expectation they set with me. I'll happily refer anyone who wants to buy a car to Shoals University Kia - especially to Jim who is an absolute rockstar! I know I won't be buying a vehicle elsewhere, because again, I seriously doubt anyone could make the process easier. More
