Returned 2012 Kia Sorento for Servicing My return visit was to have my headlight adjusted. The issue wasn’t rectified at previous service call. Servicing of 2012 Sorento I’ve always been pleased with this service department until this visit. I don’t feel like I was kept informed of the progress on my vehicle nor was I I’ve always been pleased with this service department until this visit. I don’t feel like I was kept informed of the progress on my vehicle nor was I treated respectfully. When I called for an appointment & told Mr Coates what my vehicle issues were, his immediate response was to spout off various costs of services. I informed him that we purchased the new vehicle extended warranty that was for 10 years or 10,000 miles. Mr. Coates gave the impression that checking on my extended warranty was going to be a problem to him. There was also an issue with my passenger side headlight that I requested service on and specifically inquired on when I picked my vehicle up. (The headlight points directly downward, giving poor visibility at night and is a safety issue with me. My husband looked at the issue before I called for service and he thought something was broken because he couldn’t seem to adjust it in ANY direction.) When I picked up the vehicle and asked about the headlamp, I was told it was rectified and fixed. I had not driven my car after dark until yesterday and the problem is still there, exactly as it was before I brought it in for service. This will now require yet another trip to the dealership and another day without my car. My vehicle was already kept overnight because a part had to be ordered. I strongly feel that the headlamp issue was never even addressed even though Mr. Coates assured me it was. We have already addressed the issue to Jarvis C., who we usually speak with on service issues. Jarvis was off work last week for his new baby. Jarvis was most apologetic & offered to fix the issue as soon as we can return the vehicle to service department. I have just been released from the hospital and will call for an appointment as soon as I can. More
