False statements, Straight lie, Unprofessional Salesmen, I talk to Stan on Aug. 16,2022 about buying a new Pearl White with Red interior 2022 K5 GT-line FWD I also talk to Adrian. he was in traini Salesmen, I talk to Stan on Aug. 16,2022 about buying a new Pearl White with Red interior 2022 K5 GT-line FWD I also talk to Adrian. he was in training. I was coming to the dealership with my own loan and a excellent trade in. it all started with Stan making promises to me, on getting me the car I wanted. Stan stated he would have the car on the lot when came and if he didn't have the car, he would loan me a car til my car came in.( 1st LIE), I stated to Stan I will be driving 212 mile for this car Please don't have me to drive 3 1/2 hr. for no reason. I repeated myself several times on the phone. Stan stated several times he would have the Pearl White with Red interior K5 GT-line FWD. the whole time I was on the phone my husband was listing and asking question too. to make sure the car salesman was talking right before I made this 212 mile 3 1/2 hr. drive to Madison TN. after all the phone talk I called my credit union to let them know about me buying a new car. Now Lets get to the best part of this xx. on Aug. 19 2022 @ 10;30 am myself and my sister showed up at the car lot looking for my pearl white with red interior 2022 K5 GT-line FWD. Adrian met us at the door. the first thing I said, "where's my pearl white with red interior 2022 K5 GT-line ". Adrian stated "I'll let Stan tell you."( LIE 2 ), So all the LIES started falling. Stan stated they was going to Alabama that morning to get the pearl white with red interior 2022 K5 GT-line. the lot that had the car, all of a sudden don't have the car. At this time ever thing changes. Now Stan wants to sale me a Wolf Gray with red interior 2023 K5 GT-line AWD. this car was $4,000 more then the one I wanted. my credit union Pre-approved me for $40,000. now mind you, on Aug. 16, 2022 Stan quoted me $38.000 for a 2022 K5 GT-line FWD. this price included my trade in. I was good til I got to the Kia Dealership. after all the talking on Aug. 16,2022 I still left with the car I came in. Stan stayed focused on the AWD K5 GT-line and not the FWD K5 GT-line. he never tried to find me what I came for. so I was at the car lot from 10:30 am til 7:30 pm and I drove 212 miles 3 1/2 hr.back home with no NEW CAR and a $40,000 unused loan. this the worst car experience I ever had. I don't make an effort to write reviews, but I will make an exception for this septic tank of a dealership! After my visit to this establishment I can honestly say I felt like dog fecal matter on the bot an exception for this septic tank of a dealership! After my visit to this establishment I can honestly say I felt like dog fecal matter on the bottom of their shoes. I have a 2018 Kia Soul! with 61,204 miles on it. I bought it 4 years ago and have had zero issues with it until 2 weeks ago. I was told by this dealership that the engine is blown and needs a new one for $10,000. There was a warranty on it that expired at 60,000 miles. As if this whole experience hasn't been upsetting enough, to be treated like a worthless gnat and not worth anyones time is just deplorable. I work in customer service. Everyone except Maggie the receptionist in the service department, is an absolute failure at their jobs. True car-salesmen work here, you know the kind that are only about screwing the customer and making their personal gains. They initially gave me an excited call before the "diagnostics" were done on the car asking if I'd be interested in selling it to them since they needed more cars for their lot and mine was a high demand vehicle. I told them, pending the diagnostics I would let them know. Once they called and said "Engine was blown, it has no compression and it will be $10,000 to fix" I called them back and let them know I would discuss selling it to them. Was told I had to meet with the V.I.P. Manager (an absolute joke of a title and person named Stan) for an in person appraisal. Went back down to the dealership for said "appraisal" since they wouldn't do it without me there and met with Stan. He told us to have a seat and came back with print out about 5 minutes later saying they could buy the vehicle for $2,500-3,000 and that is the best they could do. Stan my man, put some effort into what you do. Look at people's car and do the whole song and dance for an appraisal. You know the silent walk around and touch all my cars scuffs and bumps. That was too much for you I guess, might be time to retire sir. Thanks for leaving me with the service department guy too, he was a peach like you. When I asked multiple times what caused my engine to seize, he had no answer for me. Stan took us over to the service department and just left us there to speak to someone and we never saw him again. Service department guy came out and talked to my spouse and I like we knew nothing about cars and there was no clarity on what the root of my engines issue was, because they had to take it completely apart to diagnose it....I guess doing your job is hard and effort isn't your thing then. I have a 1.6L engine, there are no reported issues with this engine, wouldn't you want to look into that and figure out what made this engine an anomaly? When I asked for "official" diagnostics on paper, I was told they have none. For the $230 in diagnostics I was charged for I insisted that I wanted something on paper, so finally he turned to Maggie the receptionist and said "put blown engine on the paperwork" He also tried to put the blame on us saying it could have overheated, lack of oil changes, or maintenance. Which absolute xx, as we took care of the car regularly for all maintenance and oil. The aggravation, hatred, and all over disappointment I'm experiencing with Kia corporate and these clowns is monumental. I bought this vehicle in 2019 for $25,000 and It let me down at 61,204 miles. Most worthless investment I've made in my life. Kia and it's employees don't stand behind their products and support their customers is what I've learned during this entire experience. In todays world a little decency, compassion, and understanding goes a long way. I'm not asking for a hand out or a massive discount, but I will ask that you retrain your employees. Your customer service is a joke and needs a lot of work. Good Luck! More
They scam you with the diagnostic fee of $199. Charged me to “diagnose” a problem with my steering column when I am the one that told them the issue. Then double dipped and charged me another $199 Charged me to “diagnose” a problem with my steering column when I am the one that told them the issue. Then double dipped and charged me another $199.00 for labor for the same function for a $4.00 part. I have been a 15 year Kua customer who has bought 2 new cars and a used car. I am selling my new 2022 Kua Sportage and will never do business with a Kia dealer again. Hope you enjoy your $199 charge. You have lost a customer. More

Terrible experience. Barely did the minimum. I have repeatedly asked for basic things, like changing the windshield wipers (which I would gladly pay for) or looking at a Barely did the minimum.
