I bought a 2011 Kia Soul at Rivergate Kia on Saturday. My salesman, Ulysses Butler was very friendly and nice to work with. I had been communicating with Larry Avry for about 6 months via emails and phone prior to meeting him. In fact numerous times Larry mentioned if I did not find just the right car the day I was in (Thursday, May 5), he would search for just the right one. That made me feel that he and the dealership only wanted a HAPPY CUSTOMER. I would definitely recommend Carnival KIA and especially Larry Avry to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle. PS After my purchase, Larry spent a good 15 minutes to a half hour going over all the special features - cruise control, blue tooth, radio, lights etc. My experience in the past with car dealers was once they made the sale - I was on my own. I went into the Kia dealership in Rivergate after failing an emissions test. Upon completion of a diagnosis testing I was horrified to learn that my beloved Kia Sportage was going to need extensive repairs an emissions test. Upon completion of a diagnosis testing I was horrified to learn that my beloved Kia Sportage was going to need extensive repairs that I was just not going to be able to afford at the time. I was disgusted, frustrated and stressing tremendously. Both the head of the service department and the salesman, Kevin Haw, some my distress and did everything they could to help ease my stress. Kevin and the general manager did everything they could to find me a good, reliable car that I was going to be able to afford. They spent countless hours with me, never once pressuring me or making me feel worse than I was because I couldn't afford a more expensive vehicle. They worked with me on something that was going to suit me all the way around. I can not thank them enough for everything that they did for me and the excellent customer service I received from them and every one at Carnival Rivergate. When all was said and done I drove off the lot in a brand new Kia Forte, for which I couldn't be more pleased! My only regret was driving off and leaving my beloved Kia Sportage behind...that vehicle served me well! As this is my second experience with a Kia dealership and and couldn't be happier with my experience with them, I would highly recommend Carnival Kia Rivergate to any one looking for a new vehicle. The quality and reliability of the Kia's is far beyond expectations, solidly built, put that together with the excellent customer you receive, why shop any where else??
