Added something else. . disregard the first one My experience with this dealership has been awful. I brought my vehicle to have the brakes checked because they were not . disregard the first one My experience with this dealership has been awful. I brought my vehicle to have the brakes checked because they were not working properly and the fluid kept disappearing from the brake fluid reservoir. I left the vehicle to be evaluated and was told that $1100 worth of work was needed to correct the issue. I later returned to pick up the vehicle after being told that the issue had been resolved. Upon picking it up, the brakes were firmer than they were but not as firm as I expected and the check engine light was on. The nice male advisor who no longer works here advised that it should go off and the brakes should be fine. About a month later, my daughter was driving this vehicle to work and ran a red light due to not having any brakes. She had to pump the brakes to bring the vehicle to a stop. More fluid was added and we were able to drive the car home without injury or an accident. Keep in mind that this car was not driven daily and I’m grateful that it wasn’t because it could have been worse. I took the car back which I had just taken it a month ago for the same issue; no brakes and no fluid in the reservoir. The advisor who assisted me was very nice and professional. She showed concern and advised that she would get someone to inspect it to determine the root cause. By the way, she no longer works here either. After being evaluated again, I was told that more work was needed for an additional $3200. I also contacted the Kia corporation to file a complaint and they provided no assistance. They advised that I would have to contact the dealership because the original parts are not the same parts that were recommended to be replaced the second time. My concern is that my vehicle was misdiagnosed and I was charged $1100 for something that was not needed, my daughter’s life was in danger due to their negligence and they now want me to pay more money for something that was already supposed have been repaired.
