If you're planning a trip to Carnival Kia Franklin, make sure you ask to visit with Mr. Jonathan Underwood. First, Jonathan's hospitality is second-to-none...he may seem like "that car salesman-guy" at firs sure you ask to visit with Mr. Jonathan Underwood. First, Jonathan's hospitality is second-to-none...he may seem like "that car salesman-guy" at first, but as soon as you get over your initial fear of "that car salesman-guy," you will understand that Jonathan is really just a great guy period. Secondly, Jonathan is honest. I went to this dealership to look at a Kia Soul. After discussing my budget, he pulled out a used 2011 Chevy HHR...not what I was expecting. I thought I'd give it a try (mainly because Jonathan was such a nice person and he had been working so hard & patiently with me). The car surprised me and I ended up loving it after a test-run. After telling him so, he looked at me and said "My father has one of these cars...I hate it." Have you ever experienced such honesty with a car dealer?! I appreciated that. I did end up purchasing the vehicle, and he and his staff all but bent over backwards to get me close enough to my budget (ended up paying a little more than I wanted to, actually...). I was glad to support Jonathan, earn him one more tally on the sales sheet, and lastly recommend him to anyone reading this site. I'll also say, although I have only had one experience to this point, the service department at Carnival Franklin seems to be top notch. I purchased the HHR before they had a chance to really go through a thorough inspection. Jonathan insisted that the vehicle needed 2 new tires and the service department followed through - giving me 2 tires on the house. They also performed a free alignment, oil change, balance/rotation, brake cleaning, etc. (something they probably do on most used vehicles when they arrive, but I had already had the car for a week and they still followed through with this service - again, at Jonathan's persistence). Overall, I'm very happy and love my new used car. Please see Jonathan and support him - he knows what he's doing and above else is truly PASSIONATE about it! Just do it. More

We were in the market for a car and came into the Carnival Kia of Franklin dealership to test drive the Kia Sportage. Skip Hoehne greeted us and was very friendly, informative and helpful. He worked with us to be able to purchase a new Kia Sportage within our budget. We found the entire staff at Carnival Kia to be wonderful to work with. We said good bye to our old van and drove off the lot very happy and excited in our New Kia Sportage!!! We have had it 5 days now and are very happy with our purchse. It's so much fun to drive!!! I drive quite a distance every day and my car left me stranded unexpectedly one night. I needed a dependable, fuel efficient car with affordable payments and I needed one fast. Mike Jay, salesman extrodinaire, drove all the way from Franklin to pick me up in Ashland City. He got to see, first hand, my daily trek, plus a few other things that I need a car to do. He realized the car I was considering was not the best for me. He and his manager worked hard to find a car that would fill all of these needs, not just one or two. Mike made me feel relaxed and helped ease the anxiousness of having to purchase a car so quickly. I felt like I had a good friend looking out for me, my needs, and my safety. Will I go back to Carnival Kia the next time I need a car? You 'betcha! Will I look for Mike? oh yes! You won't be disappointed, I promise. More
My Fiance and I came to Kia Franklin to look at and possibly purchase a 2012 Kia Rio with the trade in of our 2009 Nissan Sentra. My fiance was interacting with Mike Jay through emails prior to us comi possibly purchase a 2012 Kia Rio with the trade in of our 2009 Nissan Sentra. My fiance was interacting with Mike Jay through emails prior to us coming to the dealership. When we sat down with Mike to workout some numbers he ran a check on our Nissan and much to our surprise things almost went terribly wrong. We were stunned at the report and stayed in shock for what seemed like forever, but Mike slowly talked us through things and before we knew it we were looking at a Kia Forte "which I liked so much better than the Rio" and he started working with us on numbers. Needless to say we had a very pleasant experiance with Mike and the Kia dealership. I learned alot about that day good and bad. I LOVE OUR NEW KIA FORTE!!
