walked into the dealership not expecting to get something but in the end felt very comfortable with the staff. Worst first time car buying experience, had problems with paper work had to drive back to dealership which was over an hour away from home when I arrived on the second day they detailed my car while I finish paper work had to drive back to dealership which was over an hour away from home when I arrived on the second day they detailed my car while I finished paperwork, On my way home I realized that my interior shifter handle had a chip on top. Took car into local Dealership and they told me to bring it to original dealership to have repaired. Now I'm being told that they may not fix it.Originally I was brought to the dealership after I had spoken to Johnny the internet salesman on terms that he had the specific car we had spoken about at the dealership. Johnny set me an appointment for two days later with Timoney who had no clue of what car I was talking about or anything to do with the whole situation so he showed me a newer optima that I ended up liking and buying. On top off all this my vehicle has less than 3,000 miles on it and has already had several problems the gas gauge would read correct fuel amount than instantly would drop to no fuel and the E light would come on, they replaced my fuel sending unit for that issue my second problem is that I can turn my window lock on and it will not lock the passenger side window it only locks the two rear windows I took it in to have it serviced and had a window master switch replaced, in which they did but after returning home from dealership my passenger window lock is still inoperable. As one who has no particular fondness for "the car buying experience", I believe it takes an especially noteworthy episode for me to even take time to remark on it. I had just such an episode last Fr buying experience", I believe it takes an especially noteworthy episode for me to even take time to remark on it. I had just such an episode last Friday (January 10, 2014) and am, thus, compelled to sing the praises of both the dealership, Orlando Kia North, and the salesman, Tim Gordon, through whom I made the transaction. He was a JOY! Tim was totally professional, impeccably courteous, "duly persistent" (hey, it's his job to sell cars, but he NEVER went too far, ala the salesperson who simply will not take "No!" for an answer) and, when all was said and done, still thoroughly reliable in following up. A total delight to buy from! In turn, his sales manager, Timoney Brown, must be included in this review, since he, too, was integral in the purchase and had to oversee any "outside the norm" (I am NOT an "easy buyer" to deal with!) elements within the equation. In sum, I was more than happy with my trade value, the financing terms and the "bottom line" on this deal. Most importantly, we love the car, the warranty and the prospect of doing ongoing business with these gentlemen! More
WOW, It was a Saturday evening, I happened to be in the Sanford area, I knew I would be buying a car w/in the week, because of the radio commercial, "We want to see ya, in a KIA", I decided to go to Orland Sanford area, I knew I would be buying a car w/in the week, because of the radio commercial, "We want to see ya, in a KIA", I decided to go to Orlando Kia North first, as I parked and started omw to look at the Optima's, I was greeted by a friendly face, George Michalos!. George made what I feel is a difficult experience, a total pleasure. I always felt like car salesmen can be dishonest and below the line from past experiences, especially when a women comes alone to a dealership, George changed my mind about the entire car buying experience. He is a real human..., that might sound corney, but he explained everything well and thoughly, he showed me a several cars based on what I shared I wanted, we did a test drive, I didn't feel hard pressured or pushed into getting what I didn't want, he was humble and genuine. If you want to buy a car, see George!, there are still good, honest people left in the car sales business. Stan the finance guy was quick and efficient, helped me get all my papers together that evening, I was not expecting to buy that night on my first visit, but everything was in alignment, so I did. I love my new Kia Optima and my 19yo daughter got my old 08' Kia Optima, All is well, Thanks George, God Bless, KP. More
I went in just to take a look at what was available and was looking for something used in order to stay in my budget. I ended up leaving with a BRAND NEW Kia Sorento that I LOVE!!! When I visited KIA North it was a pleasure to purchase a newer car. Manny Colon greeted us and we gave a description of what I was interested in. We took it for a test drive, discussed what I could afford and he discussed it with your finance manager. After discussion with the finance manager and also Jim, we reached a price. All was taken care of and I was most pleased with the purchase and visit. I have already referred Manny Colon to three acquaintances. You see, my female friends don't like being hassled and treated less than...as so many dealerships do. Your dealership is a credit to all woman who want to buy a vehicle. Thank you. George was great. He was very helpful in directing us to the vehicle that we looking for. Having already been a Kia owner we were looking to upgrade. The Kia Optima was what we had been looking for.
