I’d give zero stars if that were an option. My 2012 Sorento’s engine seized 3 hours into an 18 hour drive to a new home. The tow truck driver informed me it was a recall issue and took me to the nearest Kia Dealership. I arrived at approximately 11:00 and didn’t leave until nearly 9:00! I had to purchase a vehicle so I could get on my way. The salesperson would not listen to me and offered 2 vehicles for me to purchase. Both vehicles doubled my car payment and neither were vehicles I was interested in purchasing. I was not given the opportunity to test drive either of them! They knew I was in a desperate situation and took advantage of it. I asked to speak to the general manager but my request was ignored. I was told that I was being difficult and spent hours sitting alone with nobody telling me if Kia would replace the engine so I could get more than $1,000 for my trade. The only good thing about this Dealership is the Nigerian gentleman whose name escapes me. I honestly don’t know how this place remains in business. I’ve been purchasing cars since 1990. This was, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. I only hope that, now that I’m settled, I can get out from under this loan and trade my vehicle for something more suitable for my needs. Avoid this place at all cost! More
Not sure what's going on at this dealership. I was on their website found a vehicle I wanted. We went from Tampa to Longwood to check the vehicle out only to be told it wasn't there that it was being shi their website found a vehicle I wanted. We went from Tampa to Longwood to check the vehicle out only to be told it wasn't there that it was being shipped and it was suppose to have been there 2 days prior( told later was personal vehicle of Kia employee). We sat with the salesman who got all our info to work up the deal. Sales Manager Caesar was writing the deal up. Our salesman brought it to us and we weren't happy with it because of extra charges on it. When on the website even said a $995 charge would be waived. Also we were then told this was the other Sales managers personal vehicle. They were charging it regardless. Then to fix it they gave $1000 drop and then added the $995 back and also a RECON fee of $2250 . And they were asking for thousands of dollars down. Also telling me my cars are not worth what KBB said... they both were bought from that same dealership new 2019 Kia Soul 15k miles and Kia Optimal 2019 7k miles with extras. Said optimal not worth anything because they stopped making them and have K5 now. It was all crap..they hike up the prices sucker you into buying then when you want to trade up you find out how bad of a deal you made. Since we walked away from that deal because there was no way we were doing it and be that upside down. I opted to call back and speak to Javier the other sales manager who helped with my last two buys. Well I asked instead of buying his personal vehicle that was the one on their website that we drove to see that we wanted to buy a brand new one to see if it would help with the $ they were giving for kbb value of the 2 cars. He said he would look at it call me back in 15 mins. Didn't hear from him called back later that evening guy said he would have someone get back to me. That never happened so next morning called my salesman Dellis told him what was going on he said give me 10 I will find out and let you know. Well he calls back says we don't have any of the vehicle you want to even work up a deal and that's why no one called back. Their website has shown 6 available new for almost a week of me searching and still does. I would not recommend the dealership because now I feel like they are doing some shady business. More
I agree with all of these one star ratings. I, like another review I've read, have not had a worse experience in my entire life of car buying. I am 47 years old, a professional, with decent credit. I h another review I've read, have not had a worse experience in my entire life of car buying. I am 47 years old, a professional, with decent credit. I have also bought my last two vehicles from this dealership. Never again, nor will I recommend this dealership. I will even go so far as to go out of my way to mention this dealership as one to stay away from. I am a business major, have my MBA, and lots of connections in the Orlando business community. In all of my years of business school and networking, I have never been more appalled at the practices I witnessed here. I brought my daughter in to help her purchase a vehicle, which was to be a graduation gift and her first car, so needless to say she was extremely excited about this experience. To our horror, after the attempt of the the finance manager (Ceasar), and the salesman (Anthony), tried to punish us for leaving briefly to check another auto purchase elsewhere (as a responsible consumer would) they tried to raise the price on a deal they were willing to offer us only a few short hours before. Upon return, and much consideration, we decided to go with the prior deal after literally having to fight to get them to come back to the deal that was put in front of our face a few hours before. This already made me uncomfortable and leery of the shady behavior. Next, after signing numerous papers, and spending another 4 hours waiting, they got the hopes up of this young girl who at this point was over the moon with this car. They let her sit in the car and put her things in it while waiting for me (Dad) to finalize the paperwork. Upon finally getting called back to the finance manager (at this point it had been 7.5 hrs spent at this dealership) we sat signing paperwork. Suddenly, the finance manager gets up and walks out and says "one moment please". He then returns with Ceasar, and explains that they could not finalize this deal because the car had a lien from another lender. I was completely dumbfounded, flabbergasted, and in dismay that a business would not do their PRIMARY due diligence and assure that the vehicle they were taking in from a prior customer had no liens! If it wasn't so heartbreaking to my daughter, and exhausting for me dealing with them for 8hrs of my Saturday, it would be downright hilarious. Nevertheless, it was not funny at all. We packed up our things, after they apologized for their mistake and offered us gift cards for our troubles (which we never got, in fact we never heard a peep from either Anthony nor Ceasar again). It also took many days to receive a refund for my down payment, which took seconds to remove from the bank on that day. Ultimately, this was by far, no exaggeration, the worst car dealership experience I've ever encountered. I will let everyone I know who is looking for a car (I have a lot of connections with families of teenage children who are now or soon will be of driving age, including my own) to steer clear of Kia North. Horrible service and unethical. My daughter took her car to get service and they told her she needed 2500 with of work of which 700 of it was for a coolant leak and the hoses were all bad. However I took it to get service and they told her she needed 2500 with of work of which 700 of it was for a coolant leak and the hoses were all bad. However I took it to a diffrent Kia dealership only to be informed all the hoses were in perfect condition and they could not find a single coolant leak . These people tried to take advantage of a young women just trying to get her car checked before driving across country , no ethics at this place and definitely not honest people More
We were looking for a nice used car for our daughter. This is her last year of college and we wanted her to build up her credit. This who ordeal started out simple and looked like it was going to work ou This is her last year of college and we wanted her to build up her credit. This who ordeal started out simple and looked like it was going to work out well. I am 3 hours away so when she found the car she liked she put a $300 deposit for them to hold until I could get up there to see it. Fast forward a week. We went there and looked at the car but it hadn't been inspected so she was not able to drive it on the road. They said come back the next day and it would be inspected. Monday was a holiday and the service dept. was not open. She is not buying a car that she cannot test drive. They said they would hold it until this weekend because I had to come home and back to work. fast forward a few more days. Searching the internet we found her a different car that she went and test drove (at a different dealership) and she fell in love with the car. We basically made the deal over the phone and I went to look at the car and she bought it. She went to pick up the deposit and was treated very disrespectful. Caesar, one of the people we worked with sat down at the table with her while she was waiting for the refund and asked her "is this how you do business". Yes they held the car but it was their fault that the car wasn't ready when I was there to look at it. He did everything he could do to intimidate a 21 year old girl. He even stood up from the table frustrated and slid his chair back in a huff like some child. Definitely not a place that is looking for return customers with that kind of attitude. I had my eye on my next vehicle from there because it was such a great experience in the beginning until they knew they were not going to make the deal, then they were rude. I read another review talking about how they told someone to pay the higher payment for 6 months to refinance for a lower rate and we were told the same exact thing. I would not recommend this car dealership to anyone. More
Worst experience in 45 years of buying cars! I apologize in advance because this is a long read, but worth it! In April, my wife bought a Kia Optima from Greenway Kia in Longwood. This was the I apologize in advance because this is a long read, but worth it! In April, my wife bought a Kia Optima from Greenway Kia in Longwood. This was the first time she has ever bought a car “all on her own” and she was so proud to do so but they took advantage of it and made it the worst car buying experience of her life! Her Salesman, Caesar was referred to her by a good friend. Well, so much for a friend’s referral! From the very beginning my wife insisted that she did not want more than a $350 a month payment. After looking at several cars and settling on one that she did not like the seats in, they agreed to change the seats to leather. So far, no harm. Now comes the beginning of this 4-month nightmare! They gave her the regular pitch for the extended warranty and service plan (which I personally never buy!) and her payment would be $480. After objecting, both Caesar and the finance manager, Sekula, assured her that after three months she would be able to re-finance the car and drop her payment by $150 which would put it less than the $350 maximum she wanted to be at. They had told my wife’s friend the same garbage two months earlier. As soon as my wife got home and told me that nonsense, I told her to call the credit union and wherever else they mentioned and see if it was true. Of course, it was not, and they know it, but obviously that type of deceptive practice works for them and they use it often! (Buyer beware!) In June, after many attempts to contact Caesar and many messages left for the Sales Manager with no reply, I went with my wife to Greenway Kia Longwood! When we arrived, we asked for the General Manager and was told he was not in and they were not sure when he would be back. John, the Used Car Manager, came over and sat with us as my wife went over her issue with being promised leather seats and the broken taillight. He proceeded to tell us that they do not keep the jackets (Sales paperwork) inside the dealership so there was no way for him to know what she and Caesar has settled on for colors of leather so we had to come back another day when Caesar was there because he was very busy.(Let’s see, my wife has waited two months and we drove all the way from Oviedo and he is too busy!) I finally convinced him to let us see the leather samples and pick the colors while we were there so that my wife and I, who by the way both work, would not have to make another trip. He came out to the car, handed us the samples, and proceeded to go back into the building. It took two or three minutes to select the colors and then another twenty or more to find him so we could tell him the colors. When I asked about the refinancing garbage they fed my wife, he did a song and dance then went and got a contract so he could point out the clause in their contract that states “if it is not in writing then they are not liable”! (Buyer beware!) Oh, and when I asked how to contact the General Manager, he told me he was not sure when he would be back. So, who is doing his job? Obviously, no one! Here it is now July 29th and my wife is finally getting her leather seats! She was told to drop it off in the morning and she would get a loaner vehicle, they would install the leather seats, replace her taillight and she would get a detail and a full tank of gas. She showed up at 8am and the service department had no idea what she was there for and she needed to wait until sales gets in at 9am. She was there for almost three hours, missed an appointment and then they gave her a loner car with the low tire pressure light on and smells like sweat inside! I have bought many cars in my lifetime and worked for several dealerships and Greenway Kia Longwood is by far the worst I have ever seen or dealt with! I would give a zero if it were possible! More

I submitted the application and within 1 hour Mark Jama called me back and said he was able to get me financing on the vehicle out the door for $32,000 at 9% financing with $2000 due at signing. I told him I didn't want to pay anything at signing and he said that's fine your monthly payment will just be about $40 higher per month I agreed to that and we set up an appointment for 16July2020. I called the dealer on 15July2020 and talked to the sales manager just to be 100% sure I could come get the car with $0 down with the higher payments. He told me yes that's not a problem so I agreed to drive down to the dealer from Jacksonville which is a 2 hour drive one way and be there at 8:30am. When I arrived the salesman and manager could not find the vehicle I was there to buy and it took them 1 hour to find out that it was already sold the day before. We agreed to take another sorento with a different interior color and started signing the dealers paperwork. They brought me a paper with the agreed upon out the door price and monthly payments to which I agreed and signed the paper. Then the manager disappeared for 45min and when he returned it was now almost 12pm. I told them the day before that I needed to be at work by 2pm and needed to leave by 11am at the latest. So at 12pm the manager called me over and told me that he couldn't get the financing I wanted and said I could get the car with another financing company but at 15% interest and $80 more per monthly payment and I needed to pay $1000 down payment on top of that. This was after I was already told by the manager and internet salesman that they had already gotten me approved 2 days before at 9% financing and said I could get it without a down payment. The manager told me they never got me financing before but my credit was ran by 5 different companies the day that Mark Jama told me he had gotten me financing. I left the dealer and drove home because I do not do business with liers who wasted my precious time and money to drive 4 total hours to visit them to buy a car. Do not do business with them. They will draw you in with lies and then change the story on you once you get there. More
