Does not honor Kia warranty Discussed, I took my Kia Optima in because battery was failing and was still under warranty.service Dept try's telling me there was going to be a bil Discussed, I took my Kia Optima in because battery was failing and was still under warranty.service Dept try's telling me there was going to be a bill for almost $200.00 if they replace battery. I couldn't believe it. So I called another dealer. (Deland Kia). And talked to service dept. WOW. Totally different. They told me to bring car in that day. And battery was completely covered at no cost to me. I would never buy from any dealer that won't honor warrantys. That's the reason I bought a Kia was the warranty. Well I know my next car I buy. It won't be at Longwood Kia. More

Always check mileage in the actual vehicle, Our paperwork/propsal said 14k, avtual was 32k. 2. Be ready for them to "approve you" spend hours waiting, sign all the paper work, and then change the deal. Also check facebook reviews. These people are horrible. More

Came looking for answers and left more confused My experience overall was not bad, but was not happy at all. First I went online to see what deals the dealer had. A friend of mine spoke highly of th My experience overall was not bad, but was not happy at all. First I went online to see what deals the dealer had. A friend of mine spoke highly of the dealer. So they have this option that they do a friendly soft hit without affecting your credit. I thought it was cool. I filled out my information, and got a great price. Within a matter of minutes after putting my information, I was contacted by someone from the dealer through a text message, with his info. I texted him back and and asked if they still had the car that I was looking for. He responded they still had it. I asked about the numbers that I got online, and how accurate they were, and he stated, unless I got the credit pulled, they would not be able to give me an accurate quote. Fair enough. I go to the dealer. The sales person that was originally scheduled to show me the car, had to leave because another customer had to sign the papers. He sent Adbel to help me. He was very nice. Explained how financing works, and offered to test the car. When we got on the car, the right rear disc was making a noise, as well as the tires. Wipers where not in the best shape, but Adbel tried to give us peace of mind saying that the Manager would take care of it. (Even though they said to me over the phone that the car was in great shape.) We get out, he stated that he could check without pulling my credit and give me an around the ballpark payment, again, very professional, and totally understandable. I gave the information to him. That's when the numbers did not match what I saw online. The car was more expensive, plus on top of that the dealer fees (those ones I knew where going to be added, but it was a big difference with what I saw and they gave me), but I decided to see if anything could be done. I advised him what I wanted to pay, for how long. He tried to help me, but the finance manager was the one that looked like he didn't want our business. I kept asking Adbel for other options, and even though he was trying, they were not good enough. He offered an option to pay for 72 months, but I was looking for 48 months. He then offered 66 months, but that was not going to work. I said for that I rather buy a new car. He asked me how my credit was, and as soon as I said Credit Karma, he said the score was going to be way lower than what it showed on the app. I decided at the end not to run my credit, as he said that to see a better number they would need to pull it, and since the numbers were not matching what I saw online as far as price and APR, even though it was the same form that I filled, with the same info, , the car was different than what I was told,I decided to pass. Once again, Adbel was very courteous and professional, but I didn't get the same vibe from the Finance Manager. I get home, apply online for a loan, get approved, and on the suggested cars that I can finance, guess what shows up. The car I went to see at Kia North. Lower price than what the Finance guy was offering me, and shorter time. Part of me was happy with the starting experience, but the other part saw how they were trying to take advantage of me. Bottom line, don't bother filling out the "Pre-Approved" form online, as they will change (entering the same info) when you get to the dealer. More
