I knew exactly which car i wanted before i contacted orlando hyundai. a 2011 Genesis coupe. white r-spec. i also contacted other dealers in the area. I had never test driven the car, but was almost completely set on it before even going to the dealership. (i love doing internet research) However, i had no reason to buy it specifically from this dealer; I did so because i was treated with respect. Jason from Orlando Hyundai was the first to respond. within hours. My roommate and i went in for a test drive (it is a manual by the way, which i had never had before, and really didnt know much about how to drive a manual car other than in theory, not in practice). Jason let me take the car out anyway. and i liked it. I had told him in the email that i needed a good price, and i needed a good amount on my trade in order to make it work. After the test drive we talked some numbers. He offered more than i was expecting on the trade, considering most dealers low-ball initially. (the offer was exactly what edmunds.com says is the average value for the car on a trade, which was coincidentally the number i was hoping for.) and from then on we just talked about the bottom line - the difference between the trade and the new car including tax title and so on - exactly what i would have to pay. Jason, and everyone else i spoke to was very nice, very respectful, and not pushy. I left that day, because i knew i couldnt purchase the vehicle anyway, as my father would need to cosign on the loan. They gave me their offer, and said give us a number that will put you in the car. I told them i would find out what i was willing to pay and call them. Later, I called jason, and gave him my offer. he called me back an hour later with a counter offer, and i said "if you give it to me for x, ill come pick it up tomorrow." he said ok. the next day i went and signed papers. no hidden anything. everything was exactly as expected, exactly the number jason and i had agreed upon, and the car was in perfect condition, and perfectly clean when i received it later that day. its only been two weeks. but i love the car, and am thrilled with my buying experience. my advice, find out which car you want, find out what you wanna pay, tell jason, then sit back and watch it all come true. More

Terrible Experience. I went with my wife to test drive the new Sonata Limited. They only had one Limited so they tried to pressure us into something that we didn't want. I went to this dealership to see if i could get approved for a new car and the overall experience was great. I not only got approved but i left with a better car then what i wanted and the service was fast for a new car and the overall experience was great. They worked with me and i didn't feel pressured to buy on the spot and was given plenty of time to think about what i wanted to do. i am overall happy about my purchase. The price was good. Cliff Wilson and Billy Pizarro were friendly and helpful, I did not feel at all pressured. I had to bring my car back in for something, but they dealt with it quickly and were very nice about everything. I would recommend to anyone thats looking for a car to come here.So people if you want to have an easy experience with no pressure,then come hear and ask for Cliff Wilson. More
Orlando Hyundai is a great place to purchase a new vehicle. Our salesperson Mr. Glenn Bean was fantastic. No high pressure. It never happened at Orlando Hyundai. Right down to the finance and insurance representative, there never was high pressure and no surprises. Now that’s how to buy and sell a product. Other area car dealers take notice! Orlando Hyundai did a great job and anyone seeking to purchase a new car should see Glenn Bean and the team at Orlando Hyundai. I will admit my credit is less than satisfactory. That is why, and before I even step into a showroom, I confirm that financiing has been approved. I was assured by 3 different people on numerous occassions that my loan was a "done deal" and approved. Imagine my surprise that not once, but twice, in a 3 week span that I was told the loan didn't go thru. The first time applied to a 2009 Sonata. I had the car over a week when I got a call that the financing didn't go thru and they had no idea why it didn't, or wouldn't provide me with the truth. I asked why I was told financing was done and then over a week later it wasn't. No answer. So I brought it back with many assurances that yes the financing was approved for a 2010 Elantra GLS. I confirmed this on the phone and once I was there, again asking for confirmation and was told I had approval. To say I was upset with the second call, again over a week later, that there was nothing they could do and I had to bring the car back. The GM couldn't/wouldn't provide a satisfactory answer and I haven't received a call from financing explaining their fiasco. He was rude when I kept pressing for a correct answer. This borders on bait and switch and deceptive practices. Either financing goes thru or it does not and it doesn't take 3 weeks to figure this out. More

We contacted several dealers in the area via phone to make arrangements to take a test drive on a rainy Sunday afternoon. However, only one of the 6 gave my wife a friendly, welcoming response. So we traveled 50 miles to Orlando, instead of visiting the dealership that is only a few miles away. We had only planned on test driving at first, but after a non-agressive, friendly welcome by Cliff Wilson, we began to think about purchasing that same day. He was not pushy, answered all the questions we had, and gave my wife and I the opportunity to test drive multiple trims of the vehicle we wanted, without us having to ask (we were looking at the top level beforehand but decided to step down to the mid-level because of the drive experience and look). Even negotiating a price was a pleasant experience. He offered options and honored a quote we received online, even though the price was lower than he expected and for a different trim level. He stayed late, the last one in the dealership, to give us an intro to the cars' features and was very pleasant about it. You can tell he enjoys working with people. Our last purchase of a new vehicle was a horrible experience. We also were there late, but we were rushed through with very unfriendly service. The experience with Cliff at Orlando Hyundai was far different. I will be happy to return for servicing, when the time comes, to test out their service department as well. And we no longer dread going to a dealership as we had before this great experience. It was much like buying a car at CarMax, which was a comprable experience for us in the past. More
