I paid for overnite for a reason 2 people same mistake and no repurcussions stay as far away from this dealership as you can not only did they not follow shipping instructions they still wanted me to accept the part and pay 7 bucks for shipping terrible terrible place caveat emptor! What a train wreck! Contacted them regarding a used Miata through their website. I received a deluge of phone calls, emails, and texts from various people. After much back and forth, I got it narrowed down to Logan, a sales manager. In the midst of this, I was sent an email with what I was told was my deal on the Miata. It showed 4.5% interest rate and approx $1,800 in sales tax. I questioned the sales tax which they amended to $697, and they re-emailed my “deal.” I then received a texted “deal” which showed a much higher payment. When I questioned the interest rate, they told me it would be 6 to 9%. I complained about the discrepancy, and was given a lecture on current, rapidly rising interest rates - something as an adult in the real world, I am already quite familiar with. As far as I knew, Greenway had access to cheaper money. I was told the offers with 4.5% interest were a mistake and submitted by a third party company. Ok. Dumb and unnecessary mistake, but I did want the car, however, so I contacted Logan yesterday to get my actual interest rate, which he gave me as 7.5% and discussed getting the car shipped to Birmingham. I told him I wanted to run the numbers and he told me that even though they were closed on Sunday, I could text or call him and let him know my decision. So…this afternoon , I texted him to ask for an updated, consolidated offer to be sent to me so I could approve it, and he informs me that the car had been sold the day before!. Unbelievable!!! Why didn’t he mention this the day before????? When I stated my disappointment with this and the fact that no one bothered to say anything about this, he gave me a sarcastic answer about not having a deposit on it so it was a available to the public. Why didn’t he or anyone else mention that I needed to put a deposit on it??????? They knew I was interested and if that’s what it would have taken to hold it until Monday, why wasn’t I told?????? Huge disappointment and doesn’t speak well of Greenway at all. Lesson learned on my part. More
We purchased not 1 but 2 vehicles in less than 4 days. He stayed with us until the Honda doors closed and we drove away in our new car. Our second sales professional was Dalton Cooper, and again we give him 5 out of five stars. Extremely sharp, knowledgeable, and motivated. I kept referring to him as an " Old Soul" in a young body. Seemed to appear to be quite willing to be a problem solver and a go getter. Lastly, a mention to the big boss of the sales professionals and that would be the General Sales Manager Bernett Webster. Again, another 5 out of 5 stars. He worked real hard on making the numbers work for us on both cars, very pleased outcome. A shout out to the Finance Manage, Edward Insalaco, and his untiring time and patience in making sure all the paperwork was in order for processing. He also stayed late, after closing hours, to make sure we had all financial work in order. Again, 5 out of 5 stars for Mr Insalaco. We have even visited Honda of Florence a few more times since the sales, and we have received the same reception from the staff, pleasant and accommodating. I graduated school May of 22. I decided I was going to get a newer used car. I went to Greenway Honda of Florence. I put a down payment on a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Financed thro I decided I was going to get a newer used car. I went to Greenway Honda of Florence. I put a down payment on a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Financed through a bank. I did everything right so that If anything was not correct I would be able to go to a reputable dealership and fix what was not right. (To preface this post I should have never went here) Well I had my car for a week and I drove to my home town, 400 miles into my trip my car says “ low oil pressure! check oil! shut off engine now” seth pulls into a gas station and checks the oil and there was not a drop on the stick. We call my dealer and the sales manager says “ we can’t help you because you’re 400 miles from home” “however go to a dealership in your hometown and get it looked at let us know” so we continue to travel to Toyota of Dekalb where they tell me that I have oil leaking from the back of my intake and that was where all my oil was going, fast forward we come home from vacation and I take my car into greenway Honda of Florence. The head mechanic of the service tells me that there is nothing wrong with my car (even though I have a video of my second opinion from another Toyota dealer) the head mechanic tells me that TOYOTA states that their protocol is 1 quart of oil for every 500 miles is standard for my engine on my 2013 highlander. Fast forward to 3 weeks later I return my car back to the dealership and they offer to buy back my car for what I owed on it ($10,700.00) i was told I couldn’t return my car unless I paid them 400.00 up front and that if I didn’t pay them 400.00 up from then they would not buy my car back from me. So I paid them 400.00 for them to buy back my car that literally could not go 900 miles without running out of oil. * I travel over 100 miles a day for work* * I paid them because I would hate to owe 10k on a car that will literally blow up any min from using so much oil* * after they refused to put me in a different car* I was told good news “ you purchased gap insurance so you will be getting roughly 900.00 back from the bank!) so here I am 4 weeks later still waiting on my gap insurance check after numerous calls and emails to this dealership and my bank. My bank says “the dealership should have cut you a check that day” so after I called and called and called the dealership they told me they have a check for me but it has to go to my bank and bank will release it to me when they process it and this has been the absolute worst car buying experience I have ever done. I should have went to a buy here pay here rather then deal with these people who can’t keep their lies straight. I was under the impression that I could buy a used car from a reputable dealership and would expect this car to last more than a week considering I owed $10,700.00 on this vehicle. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP More
My salesman Dalton Cooper was very nice and helpful, I will come back to Greenway Florence Honda again. I love my car and highly recommend Dalton. All the Managers were helpful also! I am very disappointed with my experience with Greenway Honda. I was interested in a vehicle that they did not currently have in stock but since they boldly advertise being able to either find the correct Honda. I was interested in a vehicle that they did not currently have in stock but since they boldly advertise being able to either find the correct vehicle or order the one you want, I was confident that I would be able to find the perfect vehicle. But in my opinion, once the dealership management leaned that I didn't want any of the vehicles in stock, they weren't interested in helping me. I was texted and advised that they are unable to order vehicles and can only offer what is in stock. No offer was made of finding the vehicle at another dealership or any idea how dealer allocation works. I got brief responses that basically said we can't help you. Why does the dealership's website have the order your own vehicle option and tout their ability to find the vehicle you want. I very hopeful that I found a reputable dealer with no dealer fees in a sea of deceptive dealerships, but it appears this dealership is no different. Deception and misleading sales practices. More
