We literally had one of the easiest purchases to complete. Found the car (Saleen Mustang) online and paid cash. Simple right? NOPE not with Greenway. All paperwork was overnighted to wrong address then the salesperson lied about it. We told Travis you have to be our eyes and ears on this because we are not local to test drive it. He told us he had personally driven this vehicle and mechanically the car was great. He said there were small imperfections on the vehicle due to age but again runs perfect. (mileage was only in the 40's) We arranged and paid for the shipping. On arrival to Missouri, car immediately fails safety and emission inspections! Arrived with no paperwork, gas cap or trunk keys. Exhaust was not even hooked up! Estimate to repair $1,299.99. Tires were all dry rotted, gas gauge works intermittently, louvers flew right off vehicle while driving. (They had been 2 way taped on!) Rims and tires had been spray painted black, Entire windshield had full illegal tint, Trunk does not open at all, had to have ball joint replaced. Stopped returning our calls when we asked for money back. This was a 17K car, not some 5K wholesale vehicle. This car was the worst vehicle we have ever purchased. Travis lies to his customers then stops returning calls. We ended up settling on 2K off the original price with sales manager but this car should have never been sold to the public period! DO NOT TRUST! The only reason we got the 2K off after purchase or got a call back was when they realized our payment to them had not cleared the bank yet or they never would have spoken to us again at all. More
If this is who is hired, I never want a car from this place. He was very rude to me and lied about a car being available when I called to purchase it cash after seeing the vehicle online and receiving mu place. We came a long way to see this 2021 Lexus RX 350 and we felt it was in good condition. It started with the test drive...... the windshield wiper was missing and when driving I told the sale person that wh felt it was in good condition. It started with the test drive...... the windshield wiper was missing and when driving I told the sale person that when I put on the breaks the car shimmied a bit. So when we started the deal we explained that the wiper had to be replaced and the issue with the braking.... should be looked into before we closed the deal. We didn't know it would not be the brakes..... they said they did an inspection and there was nothing wrong with the brakes, neither balancing with the tires. They also told us that the list price we saw on the internet didn't include the reconditioning fee so they added it to it. We were told that another fee on the contract was to pay for the inspection fee to make sure everything passed inspection. So we were upcharged..... and we didn't get the $500.00 coupon from the internet either on the contract. We traded in a 2016 Lexus RX 350 which has been serviced properly and got below what we wanted and they said if we didn't owe anything on it they would have given more. We really wanted this vehicle and never experienced this kind of service before. We even went through their financing and took an extended warranty. So then some other things went down hill after the purchase. We drove the home later that afternoon on the 6th of March, late afternoon on 7th the vehicle didn't start. I called the sales person to inform him of the issue and he said to keep him posted. We had to call our insurance company to come jump the vehicle and the following morning I took the vehicle to a local dealership and found the battery was bad. I informed the sales person, sent him the receipt and he said he would get with the manager to see about a refund ($201.00 to replace) which would be overnighted within 2 days. We didn't get the check till the 18th after I made numerous calls and left messages. Two days ago we decided to take the car back to the dealership that is close to us regarding the braking and shimming and was told that the front roters were warped and had to pay and additional $210 to get that fixed. We talked to a number of folks at the dealership and were told so many different things from one sales person (who said we normally don't service Lexus vehicles) to different managers who told us you bought this as is. We can't believe we got this kind of service from these folks. The sales person tried his best but the rest of this was completely unprofessional of a dealership. We have had a number of vehicles in our life time including Lexus'. Our plan is to cancel the extended warranty with this company and move the financing to another company....folks we can trust. Unfortunately, we will be reporting this to other agencies regarding this situation. More
