John was very attentive, friendly, and promptly showed me the car I was interested in even though I was over an hour late for my appointment. After researching on the internet we decided to shop at the Greenway Dodge dealership on Colonial dr. The advertising drew us in. Once we shopped around we found a used Dodge Nitro. We were told due to our Bankrupcy that we needed a cosigner and would be able to drive the car off the lot. We got a cosigner with a credit score of 766 when we were told all we needed was a score of 650 or better. We were also told our car would be traded in at $1,400 with proof of the vin # on autotrader through the dealership no money down needed. When we proceeded to produce the information to the dealership then they offered us $500 for our trade in on our 2001 Honda Civic. Also we received an email from what it stated was from the President Mr. Leston. Asking us to please come back to negotiate. That Greenway values our business and they wanted to negotiate further. We came back for yet a third time trying to work with them to be approved after telling us we were approved twice, yet no results. Then being told that the email that read so heartfelt was actually a generated mass email that is sent out. Clearly to lure people back in to play on their emotions or misfortunes. Also the pricing on the internet did not match the pricing in the car lot. The last straw was we were told we were approved with a 12.9% interest rate one day then the next we were approved with an 18% interest rate. Now that is after they told us they do in house financing through Ally Bank. They are acting unethical and taking advantage of our situation. We jumped through several hoops wasting 3 days. My cosigner also received several phones calls soliciting more information after they told us our cosigner was approved. I am EXTREMELY disappointed to say the least with Greenway Dodge. I will NOT be recommending anyone to do business with them. I also will be writing a review on google as well as my blog about the way they are conducting business at their dealership. More
