Because of the distance from my house, it is just not convenien Dear Sirs, I have been receiving service coupons from Greenway for a number of years. Because of the distance from my house, it is just not convenient for me to travel to Greenway to have service performed. I usually do my own servicing. However, this week I happened to be in the vicinity due to business and decided to take advantage of a recent oil change, tire rotation, and inspection coupon. So I dropped in into the express lane. The Advisor was very nice, very professional. I explained that I needed an oil change and that I had a coupon for all three services. He seemed pleased that I had a coupon and proceeded to check the vehicle in. All was well. I went into the customer lounge looked around at all the amenities. Before I knew it, my jeep was moved, apparently into the service bay. It wasn't very long. The person I assume was the service tech announced for me and said my car was ready and that "everything looks great". I paid my bill and was on my way. Only when I got home did I read the "Know your vehicle report" did I find issues. 'Air cleaner element' - Found dirty. I replaced this 5000mi ago, and today it (IMHO) still looks 'virginal' white. Did he really look at it? 'Tires' - all were either 5/32 or 7/32. "All tires abnormally worn" - This jeep has just under 20,000mi, and been relatively babied in it's operation. All tires apparently are wearing equally. This sounds like a design problem. Here is where I am really upset... Inspection recommendations 'Replace air filter' "Declined" I was never approached about this. 'Perform four wheel alignment' "Declined" Again, I was NEVER approached about this. 'Rotate tires' "Declined" Excuse me? The coupon included rotation. This was on the major reason I came in here in the first place. Never approached, so how could have I declined this? How can the service tech say "everything looks good", yet remark all of this in the review? ADDED 13:11 - Just checked the oil level for giggles and found it was almost one full quart over full. Now I shouldn't even drive my car until I can drain this overage, lest I damage my catalytic and/or other components. Added 8/9/2011: It has almost been a month. No reply what so ever by this dealer. Not a day goes by that I don't think back and wonder whose Wheaties did I xxxx in to rate this level of service and/or (lack of)response? I don't recall screaming or yelling at anyone before, during, or after the servicing. It was late in the afternoon. Perhaps the kid was in a hurry to get out of there. But that is just congecture. I may be only one person out of all these positive reviews, but I cannot be the only one with a sour servicing experience by this place. At least in my my own mind there has been a positive outcome to all of this. I will never purchase a vehicle, new or otherwise from the Greenway family of dealers, and I will tell of my experience to all who would bear to listen. Petty perhaps, but everyone has a button somewhere. More
I am a three time repeat customer, purchasing one Chrysler Aspen and two Dodge Durangos. I am pleased to announce that I will be returning for a fourth automobile (probably a Durango!). The sales person Ralph La Fevor was the best I have ever had at this dealership and others that I have experienced. John in finance was very knowledgeable and easy to work with on the warrantys and finance terms. I love this place! Oh yeah! The service department is just as good! I have been to this dealership many times in the past. It is the most convenient one for me to go to... if it were not for that, I probably would not go here. The last two times I have visited I have had is the most convenient one for me to go to... if it were not for that, I probably would not go here. The last two times I have visited I have had Andy as a customer service rep. Andy has been the one positive I can point to in my last visit. In the past, I have had a lot of trouble getting service reps to return calls and actually be friendly/responsive. Andy is actually nice to work with. In my most recent visit (yesterday) I had to have an evaporator replaced to fix the A/C in my car. It was a $1,400.00 repair. While, I thought it was expensive, I did not have the time to price the repair out with other repair shops. When I picked up my car, I was surprised to find major grease stains all over the interior of my car... including on my light colored leather. I pointed it out to Andy and he had someone take the Jeep to get the passanger seat cleaned off. He stated it was probably from a plastic bag the part came in. I thought it was pretty clear that the stains were from a careless mechanic. When the car was brought back 5 minutes later only part of the stains were cleaned off. I did not have the time nor patience to go ask for help again. I took the car home and spent at least 30 minutes using my own leather cleaner to get the interior looking the way it was when I brought the car to the dealer in the morning. At most places mechanics put down plastic to protect the interior of your car while working on it. I don't think this is the case here. If I am paying for a $1,400 repair at a dealership I expect not only the job to get done properly, but I also expect the car to be given back in at least the same condition it was in before the repair. My latest visit was probably enough for me to stop seeing this dealership... I can understand a few dirt smudges, but the amount of grease stains I had in the car just screams carelessness to me. More
Jim made my overall experience an excellent one! He is very knowledgeable and never pushy. He gave 120% in making sure my Jeep Patriot was the color and comfort I was looking for. OK Gang... I just took delivery of my NEW Chrysler 200S ! My first Chrysler. Let me tell you about Paul French... the guy who is the primary reason for me buying from Greenway. Paul rescued my friend and I from "Receptionist xxxx" when we first walked in. The gal that was in that day was earning a big "back off!" from me... and before I could flip my wig, Paul stepped in and rescued us. Paul was knowledgeable about the 200 S and he was really easy going and accommodating! Paul kept me up to date with questions I had... even e-mailing me while I was out of the country on business. I am a bit picky... and Paul just took it all in stride! He worked with me as I did my research and because of his excellent character I felt that he was not hiding anything from me. When the decision was made... Paul processed me and got the car I wanted. No problems at all. Also, John the Finance Guy... was great... very professional... friendly... and no stress. I have had bad experiences at other dealers... and John was so pleasant... I was in and out! I believe that the arrangement we came too was both fair and reasonable for all involved.
