Probably the most professional buying experience I’ve ever had. I had been corresponding with Karen about a 4Runner that they were waiting on. I negotiated to buy the red Tundra (with 17 year sales veteran William) that is currently on the lot. I agreed to all their terms and their price. Five minutes later they called me to back out of the deal veteran William) that is currently on the lot. I agreed to all their terms and their price. Five minutes later they called me to back out of the deal because they didn’t want to complete a repair (replace the windshield) which they had already schedule to complete at that price. I said ok and walked away. The next day they contacted me and said they talked to the owner about it and asked if I would buy the truck for the same price if they replaced the windshield. I again agreed to purchase the truck. They then stopped communicating with me until I reached the sales manager Sonny on the phone who said they made a mistake both times. Doesn’t seem like a mistake. Seems more like a choice. Especially when he then said he would sell me the truck for $2k more than what was agreed. This is the worst customer experience I have ever received with what is supposed to be a legitimate car dealership. I cannot recommend this dealership knowing they will blatantly bait and switch prices. More

Great interaction with Peter. My wife and I purchased a new 2020 Tacoma. We came in on a weekday late afternoon. We have purchased several Toyotas over the last 25 yrs and this was the fastest in and out ever. Peter was excellent and I hope the service dept will hold up as well. Two different Toyota Dealerships have lost our business because of poor experiences with the service departments. Massey in Kinston and Stevenson/Hendrick in Jacksonville. Both dealerships failed with two new autos. One with lifetime oil & tire rotations on 2014 Corolla and the 25,000 mile free oil & tire on the 2018 Highlander. Stripped lug nuts on both rear tires and over torqued on 2014 Corolla had to use a breaker bar along with larger socket to get all ten off!!! Over tightened oil canister on 2018 Highlander. Plastic canister cracked with special tool because service tech overtightened. Neither Massey or Steveson would make things right by replacing. It bothers me the service bays are now hidden from view as we sit and wait. I never expect anyone to care for my expensive investment as I do and my trust is zero at both these dealerships. More
