Made an appointment a week in advance for a quick inspection and I've been in the waiting room for 4 hours ! Greentree will overcharge you and treat you like garbage from the beginning to the end. Month later I checked the oil level and I am shocked because the oil become "BLACK", after 4000 mile "Maintenance required " light on and screen shows "Replace Engine Oil" (normally until 50000 mile change oil every 5000 mile, my car is only 15000 mile). Today I realize they didn't use "Genuine Toyota Oil". More
I am a loyal client of Greentree. The prices are fair and competitive, the sales team is professional and not high pressure, and the service is excellent. I cannot say enough about the service departmen and competitive, the sales team is professional and not high pressure, and the service is excellent. I cannot say enough about the service department. Chris's team operates with integrity and does not talk down to the customer. They consistently perform quality work at a fair price, and work with the client to perform the proper services tailored to the client's needs and budget. I keep piling the miles on my Camry and it drives the same as the day i drove it home from the dealership. More
I have owned Toyota over 15 years and currently own a Camry and Hylander Hybrid. I had a problem with engine light showing up and brought the car to Greetree thinking it is the best place to fix the pro Camry and Hylander Hybrid. I had a problem with engine light showing up and brought the car to Greetree thinking it is the best place to fix the problem. I paid $110 for diagnostic charge and the recomendation was to change the A/F sensor to fix the issue. i gave the approval to change the sensor and the cost was $365.93. 3 days after the repair the engine light came on and brought the car back to Greentree for repair. Now their recommendation was to replace exhaust manifold and the estimate was $2064.00 and there was no guarantee either. I called and spoke to Customer service manager Chris Morgado and explained that i paid for the diagnosis $110.00 and paid for the repair $365.93 they recommended and if they can not fix this problem, they need to reimburse atleast 50% of what they charged me. Customer service manager Chris Morgado told me, sorry.. there is nothing he can do about it as there is no gurantee that they can fix any problem in the 1st time. Green tree advertises that you will be 100% satisfied with their work.. it is only on the paper. I called Toyota head quarters and they told me that they don't have any oversight on the local dealership. I called DMV in Connecticut and one of the people asked me why did you take the car to this dealership instead of taking it to a local garage. Beware... I recently had to purchase another car and decided to switch from Toyota to another make. Enough with Greentree Toyota. More
I am writing to rate on the service department. After being a satisfied customer here for years for my two Toyota vehicles, I will NEVER return to this service facility. While they are very willing to l being a satisfied customer here for years for my two Toyota vehicles, I will NEVER return to this service facility. While they are very willing to loan you a vehicle while yours is serviced, beware about being honest if you happen to get a minor scratch in the paint on the loaner. They tried to charge me a ridiculous amount for a knick in the paint. I will give them credit that after a bit of negotiating, I was not charged. However, my vehicle had to return twice for additional service for the same problem. The second loaner we had for a few weeks, because the part needing repair took an extremely long time to be ordered and received. We were told it was coming from Japan, then Kentucky. I'm not sure where this part ended up coming from. After having the loaner for over 2 weeks, Greentree reported it stolen and I was detained by Brookfield Police which was quite an inconvenience and unnerving for my 2 children. One would think that they would have had proper documentation of who their vehicles were loaned to. But that was not the case. They didn't know who they had loaned this particular vehicle to, and therefore reported it as stolen. We never received a phone call afterwards with an apology! After waiting over 5 weeks for our van to be repaired and being accused of a felony, we were refused any discount on the over $700 bill for service! Beware of Greentree Toyota...use with caution. Have used Greentree for service on 2 Toyota Camry's and have always felt they went above and beyond the call of duty. They even synched up my Bluetooth connection with a new Blackberry (not an easy task with Camry's). Justin has been there many years and is great, but the entire team is is great to work with. I am in there every 5,000 miles for check-up's. More
Terrible service model. If you want to feel like a number, and not a valuable, paying customer, go to Greentree. Given, they run a high volume service center; it feels more like an assembly line than number, and not a valuable, paying customer, go to Greentree. Given, they run a high volume service center; it feels more like an assembly line than a garage. Get in line, wait, tell one of the several desk jockeys (someone who could care less what’s wrong with your car), they enter your info into their little computers, hand you a number, and tell you to wait. Can I make an appointment? No. Get there as early as possible. Huh? Is this a garage or a rock concert? I have to compete against other customers for the privilege of giving Greentree my money to fix my car? Great for an oil change, I guess, but if you have a question or issue, forget it. Sit and wait with all the other dejected, desperate looking people in their massive waiting room and pay for the privilege of getting ripped off. If you are going to rob me, at least do it with a smile. The gentleman whom I can only assume was the “boss” was incredible irritated at his employees, would not speak directly to me when I had a question for them (even though I was two feet away from the “boss”…his desk jockey had to have a private huddle with him and relay the message back to me.) and generally gave me a very bad vibe. I felt more like a pest rather than a paying customer. In my experience, if a potential customer has a question or issue, I expect a MECHANIC to come out, xxxxx the situation, answer some simple questions, and give me the straight scoop. This was too much to ask for at Greentree. More
