Have used Greentree for service on 2 Toyota Camry's and have always felt they went above and beyond the call of duty. They even synched up my Bluetooth connection with a new Blackberry (not an easy task with Camry's). Justin has been there many years and is great, but the entire team is is great to work with. I am in there every 5,000 miles for check-up's. More
When went into GreenTree's Showroom, I was introduced to Lateef Chodary, a salesman. , at first he seemed to be a little helpful as we looked at a few of the 4 cyl. SUV’s they had on the lot. But then when Lateef Chodary, a salesman. , at first he seemed to be a little helpful as we looked at a few of the 4 cyl. SUV’s they had on the lot. But then when we went inside to sit and talk a little more he changed his tone/attitude. He basically started to argue with me, telling me what I did or did not do and what other dealers have or don’t have. He then gave me a price that almost made me walk out as it was too high and made a comment to the fact that “So,I’m not getting your business am I?” I then showed him other quotes that I had gotten so far from other dealerships and he quickly changed is attitude again and tried to accommodate me by quoting me an Out the Door Price that was lower than any other offer I had already received. I told him, I am willing to purchase the car, but want to bring my wife in and that I would be in touch with him after I went home and talked it over with my wife, while he would look for a 6 cyl as well. I was unsure of what I wanted exactly yet. A few days had gone by and I called him. He found a 6 cyl. but I was not too sure I wanted the 6 or the 4 as of yet. I then told him about the quote he gave me and all of a sudden, he changed his tone again and said he would not honor that price now, and that he never gave me such a quote, when in fact, I have it printed directly from his printer. Again, ARGUING with me. By this time now, I had gone elsewhere to do my business. I will never even think of going into this dealership again, nor would I recommend it to anyone I know, looking for a new or used car. They say one thing and not mean it or stand by their word. I would have bought the car hereaat this dealership but it’s too bad he had to be so rude and go against his word. Keep in mind, it was only a couple hundred dollars of a difference that I would have saved, but it was the fact that he was completely rude and arrogant. I even sent the VP of Green Tree a letter and he could care less, as he never even responded. More
Terrible service model. If you want to feel like a number, and not a valuable, paying customer, go to Greentree. Given, they run a high volume service center; it feels more like an assembly line than number, and not a valuable, paying customer, go to Greentree. Given, they run a high volume service center; it feels more like an assembly line than a garage. Get in line, wait, tell one of the several desk jockeys (someone who could care less what’s wrong with your car), they enter your info into their little computers, hand you a number, and tell you to wait. Can I make an appointment? No. Get there as early as possible. Huh? Is this a garage or a rock concert? I have to compete against other customers for the privilege of giving Greentree my money to fix my car? Great for an oil change, I guess, but if you have a question or issue, forget it. Sit and wait with all the other dejected, desperate looking people in their massive waiting room and pay for the privilege of getting ripped off. If you are going to rob me, at least do it with a smile. The gentleman whom I can only assume was the “boss” was incredible irritated at his employees, would not speak directly to me when I had a question for them (even though I was two feet away from the “boss”…his desk jockey had to have a private huddle with him and relay the message back to me.) and generally gave me a very bad vibe. I felt more like a pest rather than a paying customer. In my experience, if a potential customer has a question or issue, I expect a MECHANIC to come out, xxxxx the situation, answer some simple questions, and give me the straight scoop. This was too much to ask for at Greentree. More
