Needed routine service on two of the three Ford products in the family and Greene was able to fit us in and get us handled as usual. Steve said they were extremely busy, but was able to get The Worx packag in the family and Greene was able to fit us in and get us handled as usual. Thursday afternoon I went a looked at a used ford explorer, my wife came down, decided she wanted the car, after we filled out the paper work, We decided to look at the care again. After we started the car we noticed a ticking noise from the engine. The salesman stated the noise was coming from a valve changing back and forth . I told them I wasn't going to pay for a car that was ticking, after several conversations with him and the GM , I told them they could keep the car and investigate the issue. I was again called friday morning from the salesman about when I was going to pick the car up and drop my trade off. I said is the ticking gone, and he said no, that they had checked the car and it was safe ,and he assured me that we had purchased the extended warranty. I said no, i was not taking the care and there would be no deal . Finally the gm called me and told me to leave the car over the weekend and they would check the car out more in detail and give me a call back on Monday. He did call me on Monday and said the care indeed did have a bad engine. The Gm was a great guy, very helpful. The salesman has yet bothered to call me , apologize or even ask if there was maybe another vehicle we might be interested in. He was also very pushy during the buying process. I guess everything happens for a reason, we did find the same car, newer , less miles at John Megel on Monday. It was a very pleasant transaction and the vehicle is in very good condition at a much better price. More
