Very unhappy with Carlos. I paid cash for the vehicle and wanted to transfer my classic plate from previous car and he said he couldn't do it. I came to this dealership to look at a car I was interested in. I test drove it and I liked it and ended up buying it. I looked at the car fax and it all seemed good. I took it home and drove it for four days when the check engine light came on. I took it into the shop and they found that the gas tank was rotted and leaking. I had to pay for the repairs to get the inspection passed and it came out to $1,918 before the inspection. I am very upset with Green Light Auto Sales, they had to have known about this and sold it to me anyway. It's a bad business model and I would not recommend coming here for a car. More

Carlos was straight forward and to the point. We drove the car and we told him we liked it. When buying a car from a second hand car dealership, you need to understand that it’s pure profit for the deale the car and we told him we liked it. After we test drove we told Carlos we were interested and he worked with us. Prior to picking up the car we noted some items that were not working and upon pick up they were all fixed. Having never bought a used car (only leased), I told the saleswomen that and then I asked the her "so the price is all in -- tax, title, inspection & license. She said, "yes we do all that." I arrived to pick up the car and sat down with Carlos to sign papers and say I was told the cost was all in. His demeanor immediately changed, and he said no it doesn't. I said that is not what the salesperson told me. He said, "you are responsible for paying that and getting it." Not happy, but already there and 2 hours from home, cashier’s check in hand (yes, I also bought it outright!), Carlos offered no compromise and essentially got very cold very fast. Finished the paperwork, he tells the salesperson to put the temporary paper plate on. CARLOS NEVER SAID THANK YOU FOR MY BUSINESS OR ANY KIND OF COURTESY FOR MY BUSINESS. Outside with the salesperson, I said: "you know I asked you about the tax, title, inspection & license and if that was all in and you said YES." She nervously said, "I know but then Carlos said we do a transition plate." Great, well it would have been nice if that information had been shared because her error cost me an additional $1200 and 3 hours of my time at the DMV. So while I am happy with the car, I would not recommend this dealership. The dealership should have, AND STILL SHOULD own up to their error and refund the "dealer fee $499." This would be essentially splitting the difference even though the salesperson acknowledged telling me otherwise, I should have gotten it in writing, but I was too trusting - fool me once.... More
