Salesperson Jeff Hepner contacted me and stayed in contact with me with phone calls, emails, and text messages. He has a passion for cars like I have and I appreciate the help that he gave me. I bought 2 cars from him and was glad to visit the dealership because they had a lot of Corvettes in stock which I am always interested in. I will keep this dealership in mind for future purchases. Jeff was FANTASTIC! We went in, looking, just shopping around for an SUV to suit our needs. He was awesome, no pressure and helped us look at whatever we wanted. I visited 11 car dealers in my search for a pickup to replace my Dodge Ram that caught fire. I was uncertain of which truck I wanted, 1/2 ton 2WD, 1/2 ton 4WD, Heavy Duty 2WD or Heavy Duty 4WD. Let me also say that I travel extensively with my job and have very little time to search for a vehicle. At each car dealer I would tell the salesman I wanted a quote for each of the vehicles listed above both used and new. I requested they email the information to me so I could spend some time in the evenings while on the road evaluating my options. Without hesitation Julie accepted the challenge and this was based on no more than 15 minutes with her on our first meeting. Julie is the only salesman from the 11 sites that accepted my unusual requests and did so with a passion to please the customer - me. She did exactly as I requested of her, provided me all the information via email and called me various times to give me her work schedule. She also volunteered to adjust her schedule to meet my needs. I met with Julie several times, each time she did all she could to help me decide on the truck I wanted. With her help I decided to buy a Heavy Duty 4WD and negotiated a price for a new Chevy. A very good price and I was so very close to buying that truck however, I stumbled across a used truck that met my needs exactly. low mileage, low price and very clean and I bought that one instead. I told Julie about my purchase and she was very understanding and said that maybe we can work together the next time I need a vehicle. Wow, what an outstanding person she is. To start, I rarely bother to write reviews online. It takes something extraordinary for me to take the time to bother to do. There are a few things in life I never thought I would do and writing a positive review about buying a car is one of them. I worked with Julie Schnerre/salesperson and Pat Moss/manager and highly recommend buying from Julie & Pat. The fact that I drove 160 miles to buy a car should help explain that it is worth it to do business with these folks! To start the story, I came very close to buying a new car from dealer in my area. The sales person I worked with was so unpleasant I ended up leaving in the middle of negotiations. After that painful and time consuming experience I went home and starting looking for cars online. Saw a barely used low mileage Corvette at Green Chevy and called the next day. A few phone calls later we agreed on a price and the deal was contingent to seeing the car. I drove to the dealership and the car was in great shape – super clean and detailed spotlessly. It was then that I was able to meet Julie & Pat in person and they were both as nice in person as on the phone. There are times in life when you meet people and you can just tell that they truly enjoy doing the best job possible. This was a dream purchase for me and the team there could not have made me feel any more special. In summary, I cannot recommend Julie or this dealership any more. This place is the complete opposite of the typical car buying stereotypes. The only problem with it is that it isn’t closer to where I live. I would definite go out of my way, about 160 miles, to buy a car from them again. More
This was my first purchasing experience at Green Chevy and will certainly not be my last. I came to Green Chevy initially for one reason and that was I personally know salesperson Dave Arnold. Dave worked for me at one time and I know he is an honest, ethical, hard working Christian man who values people. As my wife Michelle and I began talking with Dave about several different vehicles we were interested in, we were approached by Julie (salesperson) who told us about Jill Green's (Dealership owner) minivan which was sitting on the showroom floor. Jill had recently brought this vehicle back from Florida and was selling it and recently dropped the price. The van was beautiful, well maintained......in showroom condition. After about an hour of going through the vehicle and working with Dave, Julie and Pat Moss (Sales Manager) on the price, we told the group that we would go home and think about it. Before I go further, let me back up a bit and explain another key reason we wanted this particular van. It was explained to us that thie 2008 Town and Country van had an unlimited mileage and years powertrain warranty. 2008 was the only year that Chrysler ever offered this. We were told that the only reason this was still available on this vehicle is because it was Jill Green's personal vehicle and she never titled it in her name, thus we would be the first title holder and have the warranty for as long as we owned it. After stating we would go home and think about it, Pat said to drive it home and see if we liked it. So they opened up the showroom and drove it out and we drove it home. Drove it back the next day and came to agreement on deal. As we were working through the financing with Karlreese Sims (Finance Manager) he stated that the unlimited warranty would not be available to us. We mentioned to him that the warranty was one of the main reasons we chose this one over a brand new vehicle. I told him I wanted this clarified before moving forward with the deal. Karlreese said he would definitely find out for sure the situation with the unlimited warranty on the vehicle. While sitting in his office, he spoke to another individual at the dealership who specializes in the warranties and they punched in the VIN and sure enough, the vehicle's warranty had started when Jill Green put her personal plates on the vehicle. My wife and I reiterated that we based our purchasing decision on the fact we would have this warranty for as long as we owned the vehicle. Karlreese asked us to please stay in his office and he was going to talk to Pat about the situation. After 5-10 minutes, Karlreese and Pat came back into the finance office and Pat mentioned that Green will stand behind what they said. He apologized for leading us to believe that the unlimited warranty was available and he did not intentionally mislead us....he thought the warranty was still available. To make it right and still complete the deal, Green will purchased a seperate Chrysler 4 year/unlimited mileage "bumper to bumper" waranty at no cost to Michelle and I as part of the deal. We discussed it briefly and decided that would be sufficient. I know it is a very long story, but it truly illustrates the quality, friendly, honest and ethical team that Jill Green has so carefully assembled at this dealership. I would and will highly recommend Green Chevy to anyone I talk to looking for a new or used vehicle. You can feel confident that you will be treated right at Green! More
We were very hesitant to even use Green Chevrolet. A friend of ours had an extremely negative experience with their body shop. Dave Arnold was the only reason we gave Green Chevrolet a try. Mr. Glibreath was very thorough in terms of knowledge of the vehicle. He went out of his way to insure that every question we had was answered. The one of the cars that we purchased did not get serviced prior to being sold to us and the other had bad tires. Deb Johnson was very helpful in insuring that the tires was replaced and the vehicle that needed service was taken care of. Overall my experience was fair. We purchased two vehicles, but we had to make several trips to the dealership in order to complete the transaction to our satisfaction. More
