I just purchased a 2024 GMC 2500HD AT4X from Green Brook GMC in NJ. I noticed issues with the paint on the truck and because I am not local to Green Brook GMC, I brought it to my local dealer in upstate NY. GMC in NJ. They told me that it was rail dust, and they could get the spots out but after 8 hours of trying they said the truck would need a complete repaint less the hood and tailgate. This truck was only 2 weeks old, $92,000 and now I have to have it repainted. Green Brook told me I have to deal direct with GM if I want a replacement truck since the truck is out of their dealership. I called and talked to the service representative at GM, and she stated to me that there nothing she can do for me since it has been under 30 days as it would be considered a sales problem and not a problem she can deal with. I called Peter Costigan, sales manager at Green Brook GMC and been dealing with him ever since. Peter keeps telling me that they are trying everything they can to get me a new truck on a trade allowance but as of today, 9/10/2024, he tells me they cannot help me because the truck is out of their district. But it was not when they sold it to me. What difference does that make? Its just a way to brush me off and be done with me. I also want to note the original salesperson from Green Brook offered to take this truck back in trade and sell me the exact same truck but in red and charge me an additional $9,000 for the truck. They were depreciating my truck $9,000. How was that taking care of a customer? I also offered to buy a more expensive truck from them and they still were not providing a fair trade price or deal on the new truck. I guess this is what you get when you buy from a non-local dealership. In the end Green Brook GMC sold me a truck with defective paint and they are not "Fairly" willing to do anything to get it replaced. All I got was empty promises that they they were working with GM and I believe this was a total lie. I would stay clear of this dealership! I learned a lesson that the dealership only cares about the sale. More

I wound up having a minor issue with my truck and Jason Bernhardt My service guy was absolutely amazing I'm a A tech also in the automotive industry and I was extremely pleased with my experience and I am extremely picky when it comes to having to bring my car somewhere for service. I live 40 minutes away from the dealer and because of Jason I would definitely go back there for service More

I am disappointed. I have bought and referred people. I got a new car and 2 to 3 payments in the front bumper paint was pealing. On a NEW car. I take it back advising of the issue, only to be told that it appeared that someone attempted to buff it out smh!! I working in law enforcement and our integrity is held to a high standard. I would not lie about something like that. Till this day it upsets me because I am paying a lot and just want to keep my car nice. What is bumper to bumper coverage for if your only going to be accused of living. Why would I pay so much for a car mess it up and try to lie, c’mon really. I have washed my hands of this dealership and am truly done with them. More
