I am a current Hyundai owner and was in the market for a car, so I decided to visit Dennis. I did not lease a car from here and would not return. I will say that the salesman was very knowledgeable about th car, so I decided to visit Dennis. I did not lease a car from here and would not return. I will say that the salesman was very knowledgeable about their products and friendly, but he was trying to win "salesman of the month". No matter how many times I told him that I had just started looking at cars and wasn't ready to make a decision that day, he kept trying to pressure me. To make the experience even worse, I had a male friend with me and at one point the salesman stopped talking to me and only talked to my friend. I do have to say that the sales manager was very friendly and did not try to pressure me, but the salesman soured my experience and I will not be returning. More

Poor customer service to resolve customer complaint wit and finance managers 2. Poor communication between sales rep, sales and finance managers 3. Poor customer service to resolve customer complaint with sales manager Andy Panchal. 4. Refused to give me and straight answer, would not go over the paper work, said he had "no idea what the finance manager did" 5. No attempt to resolve. He simply stated "go ahead and send letters and complaints out to Hyundai of America, BBB, Attorney General and 6 on your side" with a smirk on his face. More
Caught them in a lie twice;found out after delivery that they charged me $35.00 /month more than other dealers would have for the same car! Told salesman I wanted remote start and the upgrade sound package they charged me $35.00 /month more than other dealers would have for the same car! Told salesman I wanted remote start and the upgrade sound package at least 4 times; had to get after market remote start, which I am paying 1/2 of over lease length; Was suppose to get the 10 SPK. infinity 400w system w/sub-woofer; they threw a after market sub in a BIG BOX in my trunk and tried to pawn it off to me as the above system; When I called them out on this scam, they said it was mis-communication between me and the salesman! I am now having to spend a extra 800-900 dollars to get the system I wanted at the after market store! Wanted the Limited, sold me a SE. This is the first car I have leased; What a bad experience;very bitter! It is my own fault for trusting what the salesman was telling me and not reading the window sticker on day of purchase! I'm not even taking the in for service there; I am returning the car after the lease is up to the dealer I should have gone to,Hatfield Hyundai. I would not recommend Dennis Hyundai of Dublin if they were the last and only Hyundai dealer on the Planet! More

Went in to buy a new sonata in Sept 2010, after working towards the price I wanted we went in to meet with the finance guy and finalize everything. He said "its your lucky day, you get an extra warra towards the price I wanted we went in to meet with the finance guy and finalize everything. He said "its your lucky day, you get an extra warranty for 100,000 miles" by this point we'd been at the dealership for 2 hours so I wasnt paying close attention to the invoice. As we were leaving I noticed there was $1200 added on for the extra warranty that he failed to mention! Called back and let him know it really was my lucky day because the monthly payment I had planned on was going to be even lower once they removed the $1200 extended warranty. I don't know if they same finance guy we worked with is still there or not, but really pay attention to the invoice and make sure they haven't added any extra coverage's you weren't made aware of. Brought my 2008 Santa Fe in for service on March 29th for a 40K mile radiator flush. Asked them to also look into a clicking sound that the engine was making. I thought no big deal. Wrong. After 15 days i for a 40K mile radiator flush. Asked them to also look into a clicking sound that the engine was making. I thought no big deal. Wrong. After 15 days in the shop and 5, "we'll have it fixed tomorrow" promises I finally had enough and asked to speak to the GM. I showed up at 4pm on the 13th to meet Aaron Masterson, the GM, hoping for a resolution. He verbally threatened and lied about me. He first said to me ( in front of my son) that I had threatened his technicians. His own service manager denied this. He then held up a folded 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper telling me " I've looked you up on the Internet and you have a history of communication problems all over the net." He said " you're a major problem on the Internet". I said let me seee the evidence which he would not show me.I called my wife and asked her to Google me and nothing came up except my LinkedIn profile. Clearly, Masterson had a tactic to try to put me back on my heels but I held my ground and told him he was picking a fight with the wrong guy. He then looked at me and tired to bait me into a what I perceived , was a physical confrontation. Why he did this I have no idea. He essentially called my 15 year old son a punk. I finally got Hyundai Corporate involved and they authorized a new engine for me. We are still in the middle of this. This is incomprehnsible. It's surreal. Never, EVER, go to this dealer for anything. That includes KIA as well. More
Was looking for a car for my daughter. They have a $1400 add-on to the sticker for some sort of coverage added for paint and interior protection. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I tol add-on to the sticker for some sort of coverage added for paint and interior protection. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I told them right up front I was not paying for the package and don't waste our time trying to talk me into it. I asked them to give me thier best offer and they started with MSRP and started by adding $250 to the MSRP. I asked what that was for, and he gave me some BS that the state of OH allows them to add to the sticke . I told them he was going the wrong way, I was not paying MSRP. I provided them a number and they came back with sticker plus. They let me walk and didn't try to earn my business. I guess they have enough suckers paying the ridiculous price they want. They basically don't deal. Good luck dealing with these guys. More
I ask my 20-yr-old son to take the car in to check a front door lock that would not lock when all other doors locked using the remote. While there, he requested an oil change and overall inspection. Thi front door lock that would not lock when all other doors locked using the remote. While there, he requested an oil change and overall inspection. This is what then appeared on the invoice: - Oil change: No problem. - Inspection recommended replacement of Cabin Filter ($20 part & $30 labor). That's too much for labor considering that it takes 1 minute to replace this filter. All you do is lower the glove box and voila. - For the door lock, they recommended replacing the door latch and charge $93 for diagnosis...REALLY!!! Maybe I am a dummy, but how long did it take the mechanic to figure that out??? The response I received was "That's how we get money to pay our mechanics". To repair this lock, I have to pay additional $287 for the parts & labor. The diagnosis is over-and-above parts and labor....This is daylight robbery!!! No-one at the dealership mentioned upfront how they would price the entire repair job, because I would have opted not to have it touched by their mechanics. BEWARE OF THESE SHARKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
