My husband, Joe, and I purchased a 2011 Sonata from Dennis Huyndai in May. The day we bought this car we had already been to a Honda dealership and Nissan dealership. So by the time we got to Dennis I was tired, frustrated and ready to go home. Not to mention, I had my heart set on an Altima and didn't even want to look at a Sonata. But Joe had done his research and decided we had to look at the 2011 model. (He is convinced it is going to be Car of the Year.) When we pulled into the lot I was pleasantly surprised by the changes in the body style - not what I was expecting at all. Then I drove it... What an awesome car! I was immediately convinced that this was the car for us. Our sales person (Pete Seeds) was the most knowledgeable salesperson I have ever met. He knew this car inside and out - he knew all the specs, details and options. Pete was patient, friendly and didn't pressure us at all. We got the interest rate and payment we wanted and a fair price for our trade-in. We left the dealership very happy and pleased with our purchase. I have made several recommendations for Pete, and will continue to do so. More
This is the second vehicle I have bought from Dennis Imports in Dublin OH. I returned to Dennis not only because I was so impressed with the quality of my previous vehicle but because of the quality of Imports in Dublin OH. I returned to Dennis not only because I was so impressed with the quality of my previous vehicle but because of the quality of people employed there. The sales staff are courteous and friendly without being overly solicitous and will bend over backwards to find the vehicle that is perfect for you. The financial people are accurate and efficient and turn the financing into a somewhat enjoyable experience. The service staff and mechanics are knowledgeable,trustworthy and thorough, and they have on occasion had to track me down somewhere on the grounds to let me know my vehicle is ready. The service department staff and cashiers are equally competent and plesant. If I am in the area of the dealership on other business, I will often stop in just to say hello to everyone, as the entire organization makes you feel like family. More
I liked Tyrones Attitude. he was easy to talk to, he made sure that we were shown all its features . i felt at ease with him . i would reccomend him to my friends.and if given a chance would return. Instead of using existing holes in the front bumper they just took two metal screws and drilled into the bumper. They refused to fix it.. I filed a BBB claim and tried to get my insurance to fix the car since Dennis vandalized it... insurance said sorry Dennis owned it when it was vandalized. Terrible dealership and really miserable people to work with. More

WELL I AM SURE GLAD I DID I WAS GREETED WITH A SMILE AND MY SALESPERSON GAVE ME NO PRESSU BUT DECIDED TO GO ANYWAY BECAUSE THEY HAD THE CAR I WANTED. I went to Dennis looking for either a new Hyundai Elantra or a Hyundai Sonata. After test driving, I went to purchase a vehicle, telling them exactly what I wanted, with what features, and I hoped we could or a Hyundai Sonata. After test driving, I went to purchase a vehicle, telling them exactly what I wanted, with what features, and I hoped we could make a deal. With the incentives on the Sonata at the time, I wanted to first see if we could make a deal on a Sonata. They asked "what do I need to do to sell you this car." I said, $18,000 on my trade, and $16,500 on the Sonata after the $2,000 cash back. After evaluating my car, he said, "If we give you $18,000 for your trade, what will it take to get you in the Sonata." Again, I said "$16,500" and he said, let's go drive this one. The Sticker price was $18,950, and with the $2,000 cash back, I thought we'd be golden. With the amount I owned on my trade, those terms would easily have put me in the $250/mo for 60 months that I wanted (I had secured financing already). He comes back, and says "$297 for 72 months, do we have a deal?" I told him, no possible way do we have a deal. He was giving my $16,500 for the trade, sticker on the Sonata and the $2,000 cash back...however even with those numbers, that STILL didn't add up to $297 for 72 months. When I asked to see the calculations, as that did not sound right, he refused, continuing to push $297 for 72 mos. I basically told him he was nuts and asked to see the numbers. The manager came over and said "we'll give you an extra $500 for the trade. That'll drop you to $257 for 72 months." Nevermind that $500 can't reduce a payment $50 a month over 6 years. Later on, I ran the numbers, and the payment they wanted me to agree to originally was for financing $18,000....the total amount financed should have been under $15,000...they were blatantly lying to me. At this point, I said "Let's move away from the Sonata, as you obviously won't be able to get the price I want." He continued to push it, refusing to consider the cheaper car. At that point, I got sick of being jerked around, given inflated prices, and having a dealer that refused to listen to what I was saying, so I left, went down the street, and bought a Nissan. More
After buying a car from this dealer ship, which there logo is "A Dealer you can trust", I found that this dealer ship can not be trusted. We had this car for one week, when the engine blew up, after tak logo is "A Dealer you can trust", I found that this dealer ship can not be trusted. We had this car for one week, when the engine blew up, after taking it to a service station, they said that the car would need a new engine and that the dealer probably knew this information when they sold the car. I hope that future customers will read this review and check with the Attorney General and better business bureau to see the complaints filed on this dealer, before buying or considering a car from them. We feel that even a used car sold by a notable dealer should last more that one week, since the price on the car was not a good deal. More
The worst new car experience I have ever encountered! I have purchased 5 new cars, all wonderful experiences. Dealing with Dennis Autopoint was like dealing with a 3 ring circus. Not only does the right hand not know what the left hand was doing, clearly, they do not care to know. Employee I was dealing with for 3 days, was MIA on the day I was to purchase the car. That said. Finance Manager could not find paperwork, keys. Gave me different terms than discussed. Overcharged me, and repeatedly told me information that was not truthful. As I stated, this was not my first car purchase, so this was not something I was going to take. I was not allowed to talk to the manager Aaron Masterson. Nor allowed to get my deposit. The deposit was then cashed, even though I had no car!!!!! Aaron, you should e ashamed. Yet as long as you have quotas..... This dealership is one of the sleeziest in the OHIO. You have no scruples, or morals. What kind of Owner allows his employees to not show up or call in???? Now that's a cushy place to work. Thank goodness for the internet, I can quite easily spread the word 100 times faster than in the old days!!!! Thanks for the nightmare. More
Went in on Thursday night to purchase 2006 ranger. After 4 hours did paperwork left with truck. Called next day (Friday) informed to come back and sign new paperwork. Deal didn't work. We were under the impression that the truck was ours. It's the yo-yo-scam. They were surprised we brought it back. They apparently thought we would sign new loan papers and not question it. Salesman did his best to get deal. But finance wouldn't budge. More
Frequently told me that the 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty was not valid for my car although I bought the car new from them and it was in the warranty period. I have had many service requests through this dealership and have never been totally satisfied with the result. I STRONGLY recommend purchasing your Mitsubishi through ROBY in Dublin if you are considering your new or used purchase. Their service department serviced my vehicle after repeated attempts to have Dennis perform the work for me. More
