This is the worst place that I have ever been to. I bought a used car from them, and it had 5400 miles on it. The Supervisor for the sales department said there is nothing wrong with the car. I had 3 appointments with the service department about a rattle on the inside on the right side. After they brought it out the third time, the rattle was still there. She went back and got a service technician, and he said I needed to put a piece of Velcro on the seat belt connection to stop the rattle. My question is why would I need to put a piece of Velcro on there to stop the rattle. This thing is almost new. When I go out in the morning, and pull the car out of the driveway and come to the first stop sign, I barely touch the brake, and it is like I am pushing the brake pedal to the floor. This car is JUNK !!!!!!! I am about to call an attorney and file a Lemon Law on Great Lakes Hyundai. They can give me the full amount that I paid for the vehicle. In looking, they are only rated at a 2.6. Great Lakes Hyundai is a BIG JOKE !!!!!! More

John Eberle was our salesperson who made buying our car easy. From the beginning of my shopping experience he was responsive to my questions and provided me with the information I needed about the vehic easy. At no time was any high pressure placed on me. He made the experience of purchasing a car from him and this dealership effortless. Additionally, because we needed financing for the purchase of this car, we shopped for an ideal loan and came to the decision that the best interest rate was the one offered by Hyundai. I would highly recommend seeking John Eberle out as your salesman when shopping at this dealership. More
This was the worst experience of my life. One star is generous and not earned. They had my car for 6 weeks for body shop work that was supposed to be 2 weeks. But actually the worst part wa One star is generous and not earned. They had my car for 6 weeks for body shop work that was supposed to be 2 weeks. But actually the worst part was the service center as I asked for a multi-point inspection after the body work was done. Then the body shop noticed that after their multi point inspection, the car was still rattling, and they sent it back to service. There was something they missed in a multi-point inspection which makes no sense. So back to the service center it went. The first alignment they did was not correct, and the body shop had to send it back yet again. The body shop told me to drive it before leaving, and I asked the service center to do that, and they said that it had no gas so I couldn't? Since my car had been stolen and came in with no gas, they were okay with me leaving with my gas light on and blinking. That blew my mind. So..if it did not have gas, did they not drive it to check the work they did? Then I get the car back after 6 weeks and a lot of stress, and drive it, and it is not right. When I steer far right it jerks, and when I brake it pulls right. I took it back. I sat there 3 hours for them to come out and say that everything looked fine and nothing was wrong. They said that they could spend more time but that would cost more money (I am thinking - I am not paying for you to correct your work.) I took it to my local Midas on Hamilton Rd., New Albany. Best experience of my life. Within 30 minutes they knew what was wrong and showed me on the car. The dealer had replaced the RF ball joint but not the LF ball joint. When Midas showed me the left front ball joint, it was loose and rusted. So Midas fixed that and realigned it (because it WAS off) and now my car feels safe again. In summary regarding Great Lakes: 1. They don't stand by their work 2. Their body shop took 3 times longer than estimated. There was no offer of a loaner when my car rental ran out. And they gave me an excuse of how many cars they had. Not my problem. 3. Every time the service center addressed something, it was not right. 4. I asked for a manager to call, and that was never honored. I never spoke with a manager. 5. They spent 3 hours not finding something that another place found in 30 min. 6. I did a BBB complaint which they did not address. Just responded by listing the services they did. They have zero consideration for customer satisfaction. 7. Unskilled, incompetent service center 10. Poor communication and operations coordination between body shop and service center. 11. Zero consideration in making the customer happy. Like...zero. NEVER GO HERE. In fact, my next car won't be a Hyundai as a result of this dealer. Dennis Hyundai was okay. Great Lakes....complete and utter nightmare. More

Spent 1230 to 630 with the slowest group of people reminiscent of #%+£â‚¬!; keystone cops. Worst experience of all my years of car ownership imaginable entire process!! My wife has been complaining since we entered the premises until now (7:00 next day) she’s extremely pissed and I will have to continue hearing the tirade when she wakes up!!!! Please, please do yourself and any physically challenged family members to their sister store 2441 Billingsley Road Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully you may find professional, competent, compassionate well trained staff who will treat you with dignity and respect. The lowest review score available is one star. (-1 or more is my honest recommendation). More

Avoid at all costs! Salesman lied about nearly everything including the "free" paint protection package that was not free when I went to complete the financing. It took forever to get to financing which I found out is an old sales trick to wear you out so that you are tired and hungry. Did not explain that to get the Hyundai customer cash that I had to finance with Hyundai. Did not return any emails after the purchase. Plus forceful extended warranty sales pitch. More
My wife had a 0915 appointment to trst drive a car there this morning after she drove 3 hours. Totally a waste of people's time and money, very unprofessional to set up an appointment and not even have the car there, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! More
I was greeted by a young salesman. I told him my wife and I wanted to look at trim levels and colors on palisades. Immediately I was presented with a form to fill out with name, number, email etc. i told them they didn’t need my info to look at cars. Finally another gentleman ALLOWED the young guy to show us cars. We looked at numerous vehicles they didn’t have color/trim level we liked. I asked the salesman for a card, sure enough he didn’t have one and had to go inside, coming back out with who I presume was a sales manager. Sure enough the pressure pitch began. I shut him down and left. If you like the high pressure sales of ricart ford then you need to visit this dealer. I left greatlakes drove to Germain met a low pressure casual sales lady who allowed us to look at colors options etc. an hour later we left knowing what we wanted. I texted her color trim etc and she’s currently searching for the vehicle I plan to buy from Germain. More
Went into dealership and warmly greeted. Had Wade as salesman. Want a $500 deposit for a front wheel, white Palisades. They said they would fine one. That was May 25, 2024.
