Actually, last week I did attempt to contact the Joey Huang (the President of Great Lakes), and Anthony Carcioppolo, (the General Manager) and neither responded to my emails. After reading BBB complaints, it seems that poor customer service and involuntary "add-ons" are common practice with this dealership. If anything, I believe that contacting Honda headquarters is the best avenue in resolving these issues, especially because under the Ohio vehicle laws Rule 109:4-3-16 (b) 25, (add-ons), and (b)34, (failure to notify a consumer of a dealer's current ad (jacked-up price), and (b) 4, (failed to show any motor vehicle for sale at a specific price or specific terms and subsequently fail to show and make available for sale said vehicles as advertised). Specifically, the buyers were willing to pay the price on the vehicle sticker (including the dealership add-on fee), but would not pay an arbitrary extra $2,000 that the manager added on in the showroom, and/or the extra $1600.00 in involuntary "add-ons" that the buyers neither wanted or requested. Instead, the manager told the buyers that they would not remove either "added price or add-ons" and that "they could sell the vehicle to someone else before they closed that day." At the time of the "negotiations" for the sale, I was very clear about the Ohio Vehicle laws to which the manager Mr. Parker acknowledged that he was aware of them, but was not going to remove either the added price or add-ons and was belligerent and rude to both me and the buyers. I was embarrassed that my foreign visitors had to endure such rudeness, hostility, and poor customer service.
