Car needed repairs that were not disclosed to us I would like to share this experience so that others are aware while shopping for a used car at this dealership. We bought a used Acura SUV from this dealer that needed work after purchase: new battery and drive belt which cost us hundreds in repairs after purchase. What we realized is that the 'change battery' light would only come on when the car has cold engine, and once it is warmed up, it would go away. Same for the belt noise: it comes on when the engine is cold, and decreased in noise when the engine warmed up. We agreed to price over phone and came to pick up car on a night. The employee retrieved the car from storage and brought to the front of building for us, by the time we got in the car, the "change battery" light was off because the car had warmed up. Therefore, we did not notice the issue at that time. However, both of the issues were evident the next morning. We did reach out to the dealer, but they were not willing to work with me to resolve the concerns. I would like to share this experience with others so that they are informed and carefully check out a used vehicle when purchasing from this dealership given how they sold this car to us while needing repairs which were not disclosed to us. More

Still driving the 1999 is due in part to the routine service that is suggested by Honda, and by the dealership. Kurt in the service department takes time to go over any questions and always calls to let you know what they find if the cost is over $150.00. I find this extremely helpful as to know how much to bring to pay the bill. When taking your car in for service they are always willing to accommodate a loaner car if you schedule to do lengthy services. I find that the loaner cars are always well maintained and are looked after just as well as the cleanliness of the service area. For a service department that is constantly working on scheduled service and oil changes you are not able to tell that many cars have come in and out during the day. I look forward to dealing with Jack Matia Honda in the near future for my next Honda purchase. More
