Shady Practices/Charged for work that was not the problem I brought my 2015 Tacoma in due to a vibration and shaking in the floor and console. I was told that they would fix it by balancing the tires. They charged me 35.57 and gave me a receipt which I put in my vehicle. I left the dealership and realized that the truck was not fixed. I called and told them I was returning. I could not find Mr. Brister when I returned. Once I found him I told him the truck was not fixed and that Balancing the tires was not part of the problem. I also told Mr. Brister that he did not document the problem initially as I explained it... He failed to put there was a vibration and shaking in the floor and console. I requested that he document what I told him the problem was. I told him I was not happy about being charged for something that was not part of the problem and I wanted a refund. Later Mr. Brister came back and told me that They found that the Truck had a defective tire on it. These tires had less than 18,000 miles on them. They replaced the tire. However I was still charged the fee for balancing the tires which was not a part of the problem. When I left the dealership I looked for my first receipt. I found that it had been removed from my vehicle without my permission. I did not authorize my anyone to remove anything from my vehicle. I received my credit card statement and notice that the charges are still there. Gray Daniels staff removed or took that receipt out of my truck to hide the fact they failed to document what I initially told them the problem was. It also had the initial charges on it. Removing this receipt is a very shady practice. I called the dealership to talk to the Service Manger on the way home. My calls got dumped to e mail(It was not lunch time). I left a detailed message and requested that this be addressed and that I be contacted. I also sent an e mail to the service Manager. NO ONE RESPONDED. Later I noticed that 3 of the four Valve stem caps were missing from the tires? I called the service manager again thought the receptionist....yes you guessed it...voice mail again. I left all my contact information and asked them to call me... NO ONE RETURNDED MY CALL. I live in Yazoo City (what would have been the cost of a postage stamp, 3 valve stem caps and an envelope)? I will never buy any make vehicle from Gray Daniels and will be moving my service to another Dealership just as soon as the 25,000 mile service is done. I have contacted Gray Daniels again. I will be filing a formal Complaint to the Customer Service Center in California on June 2, 2016. I also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint in regard to the above. I would never recommend Gray Daniels Service Department to anyone. NO RESPONSE, NO RESPONSE...Failure by Gray Daniels to follow up on Complaints. I have been a Quality Assurance Specialist for many years with a Company that is ISO Certified. Customer Service Evaluations and a speedy response to customer complaints are paramount to repeat business. I am very disappointed with Gray Daniels. More
Completely Rude I have never been talked to like I was ignorant before. This lady makes you feel just that. Advising me that I didn't know what I was talking about as I was not a service tech, but they could have someone look at my car for me. How rude. The entire conversation was as if I interrupted her and completely ruined her day by calling. If you don't know how to talk to people, don't answer the phone. And definitely don't tell your customers that they don't know what they are talking about. The problem that I told you about is currently being fixed at Herrin Gear, who had no problem looking into the issue and knew exactly what I was talking about. And guess what...the problem that I thought may be going on, was just that. Maybe I do know a thing or two. After many bad experiences with this service department, my conversation with her today has topped the cake. I'm done. I hate that I every bought my vehicle from you all. More
I feel scammed by this dealer. I bought a 2007 toyota corolla from them 6 months ago. I was told there were no issues in the car and it had 4 brand new tires. All of this was a lie. I had to replace not only two tires but also the water pump, brakes, and two motor mounts. There is a vibration in the car that will not go away. It gets more severe each day. When I first drove it, I barely felt it since the air was turned all the way up. I guess this was done to hide the issue. I was scammed completely and sold a broken car. I would not buy a car from them again. The only reason I go there is because I have to get so many repairs done. There were also original floor mats in there when I test drove it. When they brought the car to me they were gone. I called Cedrique to get me some and he brought me 10 dollar ones not the originals. I am very unhappy about my purchase. More

Philip I had brought my 2010 Tacoma truck in for service about a month ago. Philip called last Wednesday and told me my headlights were in. He said you guys were doing a courteousy warranty on them. You will never know how much I appreciate this, I have been wondering what to do about my ugly looking lights on my beautiful truck, and he did this for me. I have a 2014 Corolla S (bought from Felix, another great guy) a 2009 Camry and this Tacoma and with folks like Philip and Felix I'll be back. Bob Stringfellow More

Never even got to the lot to get insulted I was online to check on trading my 2015 Dodge Challenger in on a new 2015 Tacoma, and as usual, I received a call about 20 minutes later on my cell p I was online to check on trading my 2015 Dodge Challenger in on a new 2015 Tacoma, and as usual, I received a call about 20 minutes later on my cell phone. I tried to tell them that my was low mileage and hard to come by, and that I was not interested in spending 3 hours haggling at the dealership. I then had a Mr Kelly Miller call, and wanted the vin number of the vehicle that I was going to trade, so that I would not have to come in a have it low balled. I sent him all of the information, and to this day, he has not called me back. However, I have had numerous sale people call me from that dealership, wanting me to come in. This Mr Miller was suppose to be the assistant general manager or something like that, but he does not even have the common courtesy to call me back and tell me that they are not interested? I would Never recommend this Toyota dealership to anyone!!! More

In talking to Marc, he was a mechanic for Toyota for many years and had vast knowledge of Toyota mechanics which made me feel like he knew what he was talking about. I mentioned the model I was interested in, and without hesitation, he gave me a "ballpark" figure that was well both well below the sticker price and well within the range of what the Kelley Blue Book had listed as a fair purchase price. Without resorting to the"hard sell" tactics used by some salesmen, he covered financing options, special incentives, and the generous service terms provided by Toyota. His friendly, professional, and "no pressure" approach convinced me that both he and Gray-Daniels Toyota are worthy of my business and I'm looking forward to having them help me with my Rav4 purchase. . Best car buying experience EVER! I had a great car buying experience at Gray Daniels Toyota when purchasing my new 2015 Camry XLE. I had all but given up on buying a new car because I had a great car buying experience at Gray Daniels Toyota when purchasing my new 2015 Camry XLE. I had all but given up on buying a new car because most salesmen make promises that they cannot keep. I have purchased 13 vehicles in my lifetime, and this was by far the best overall experience from first contact to sales to finance. Mr. James Seaman was my salesman, and he did everything that he said he would. I received top dollar for my trade. They even came down on the price of the Camry so that I could get the car that I wanted for the payments that I wanted. Mr. Seaman got me into the perfect vehicle with all of the options I asked for like navigation, blind spot monitoring, moon roof, etc. I got a fair price (comparable to fair price on KBB.com) on the new Camry and a fair price for my trade. Even though it was pouring rain, he went out into the lot and brought me back vehicles to choose from. Once the financing went through, the finance manager Joe was excellent. He made the process fast and easy and was very friendly and engaged. Great customer service all around. I know my Camry will last for years to come, but when it is time for another vehicle; I will definitely go back to Gray Daniels Toyota! Mr. Seaman followed up with an email and phone call as well to ensure that everything was still good and to inquire if we had any questions. Great people who genuinely care about their customers. More
