The way this dealership treated us was unlike anything we have ever experienced. When I first spoke to their customer service people following a trade-in inquiry I requested on their website that showed my trade-in value to dealer at $21,972 - $24,361. I informed them I lived 6 hours away and would need most of the numbers worked out before taking a day off and going to the dealership. In speaking to the sales representative, Tony Hughes, he seemed willing to get me all that information in a timely manner. He came back with a range of $20,500 - $21,500 for my trade-in. This was too low but only about $3,000 off, I let him know they needed to offer more and he told me he would see what he could do and should be able to get a better number upon receiving further information about extra options my vehicle had that he was not aware of. This was around 1500 Wednesday. Thursday I still hadn't heard anything so I called them around 0900, an hour after they opened. I was told he was still working on an offer as his manager had left for the day last night. I put in for short notice leave from the military assuming I am driving 6 hours to get this vehicle the following day. After calling Tony back myself after work, I am given more of an actual number for my trade of "about $22k", I let him know that is still too low. I also let them know where I needed to be on my out out the door cost. After multiple calls, texts and customer service saying someone will get back to me I assume Tony is still working to sell the vehicle they have and not just ignoring me. I was wrong. No one calls back and I don't hear anything from them until I call Friday. I am told they want to sell cars and he is going to talk to his manager and get his best number. He comes back with the same number for my trade-in just an out the door price. He could have told me they weren't willing to come up any on Wednesday and this would've been over then. When I ask to speak to the General Manager I am told someone will call me back, knowing how that has gone I request to be transferred. I am transferred not to Branden Parker but what I'm assuming is Mark Murphree a sales manager. After describing my experience with the dealership and the inconvenience of this entire situation he responds with something along the lines of "what do you want me to do". Absolutely nothing sir, I will never look to any of the dealerships in the Gray-Daniels family for a vehicle ever. I will also let my military family know just how you treat your customers. More
Not happy I went to the Brandon and I-55 dealership this morning. Drove and walked each lot for longer than 15 mins. At no point did anyone come out to see what I went to the Brandon and I-55 dealership this morning. Drove and walked each lot for longer than 15 mins. At no point did anyone come out to see what I wanted. So irked. Bought my Prius from the Brandon dealership 4 1/2 yrs ago from Kay. Again, I was wondering the lot, with no response. Then, Kay pulls up, with her lunch that she had just picked up! Asked if anyone had helped me. I responded, no and she said let me go put my lunch up and I'll be right out. She was wonderful!!! IDK why y'all let her leave as she was the only reason I bought a car that day. Now, fast forward, I'm again looking to purchase a vehicle, but, nope, not today. Ggrrrhhh...I have the title to my car, with me, disposable income and excellent credit. Sucks for y'all. More

He spent days working with me. He made such an impression that when we came back to buy our next car, we waited around till he was finished with his previous customer, we didn’t want to bother with anyone else. He stayed late to make sure we were take Care of before he left. Now when he sees me he always makes it a point to come say hello and chat with me. He is a great guy and a terrific salesman. We love Toyota but if he goes to a different dealership we will follow him! More
"Try before you Buy" rental was a waste of time and money As a long time owner of multiple Toyota vehicles, I no longer shop for any other make due to Toyota's great dependability and low maintenance cost pro As a long time owner of multiple Toyota vehicles, I no longer shop for any other make due to Toyota's great dependability and low maintenance cost proven by many years of personal experience. I'm planning to purchase a new Tundra SR5 or Limited CrewMax to replace my older/smaller Tundra and wanted to rent a 2018 Tundra from Gray Daniels for a weekend to be sure I wanted the Tundra and not a Tacoma. I called the dealership on Friday morning to confirm that they had a Tundra CrewMax Limited or Platinum available and was told that they had two Platinum vehicles for immediate rental. I reserved one of the vehicles and that afternoon made the 90 mile trip to the dealership with a scheduled pickup time of 3:30 PM. I arrived, completed the rental contract and paid for the $207 weekend fee and was told that the vehicle would be brought to the pickup area. As I waited, the rental agent updated me a couple of times to let me know that the vehicle was not ready and would be available shortly. I wasn't in a rush, so the delay, although unexpected, wasn't a problem. She was apologetic and told me that she was going to apply a $35 credit to my account for the delay, which was a nice gesture. After waiting an hour, the vehicle was brought to the pickup area and instead of the Platinum vehicle I was expecting (bucket seats, floor shifter, upgraded entertainment system, etc.), it was a TRD Offroad version with lift kit and oversized offroad tires, bench seat, column shifter, rubber floor mats, etc. I told the rental agent that wasn't what I wanted for a test drive and that it wouldn't give me the ride and feel of the vehicle I was considering for purchase. She told me that was all that she had available and didn't offer an explanation as to why one of the two Platinum vehicles were not available, so since I had driven 90 minutes to pick it up and had already completed the contract, I took it and drove it for the weekend. Needless to say, although the Tundra TRD Offroad is an awesome vehicle for the right customer, it was a waste of time and money for me. I didn't get the feel of the bucket seats, floor console and upgraded entertainment system, for interstate driving the offroad tires were noisy and on two-lane roads the offroad tires and lift kit made the ride very rough. The radio antenna was also missing, so I couldn't use the radio as I got nothing but static when I tried. I pointed out the missing antenna during the walk-around when I picked up the vehicle (to be sure I wouldn't be accountable for replacing it upon return) and the rental agent only commented that it had been like that since the truck was added to the rental fleet. This isn't intended to be a negative review of the Tundra TRD Offroad as that's exactly what people who purchase it and add the lift kit and tires want. It just wasn't what I wanted to drive to help me make a decision on a purchase. Bottom line. Although the rental agent was friendly and efficient, I spent $200+ and drove 180 mile round trip to rent a vehicle that wasn't what I reserved and still haven't had the opportunity for an extended test drive of a "normal" Tundra vehicle, so my decision to purchase has been deferred for now. If you reserve a rental from Gray Daniels, don't count on getting the vehicle you think you are renting and be prepared to wait awhile to drive away in it when you get there. UPDATE TO EARLIER REVIEW: Shortly after submitting the review above, I was contacted through DealerRater's messaging portal by Gray-Daniels General Jody Archer and was invited to contact him regarding a refund of my rental fee. Before I had an opportunity to respond, Cassandra Melvin in the rental department contacted me via phone, apologized for the experience and informed me that I would be receiving a refund for the full amount of the weekend rental fee. While I did not expect a full refund since I had driven the vehicle for the weekend, the gesture is much appreciated and demonstrates that Gray-Daniels is willing to go the extra mile to make things right and to ensure that customers are satisfied. I have amended my initial ratings for Customer Service and Price to reflect the overall experience. More
Continued Care of my Vehicles I have been a customer of Gray Daniels Toyota for several years. Jerry Brister has been a consistent factor why I bring my vehicle to Gray Daniels. I I have been a customer of Gray Daniels Toyota for several years. Jerry Brister has been a consistent factor why I bring my vehicle to Gray Daniels. I receive top quality review of my vehicle. Being a single parent, it is important to make sure I can depend on my vehicle. He makes sure the cars I bring in have a through check, from the fluid levels, tires, brakes, etc. He also prepares me well in advance of any upcoming regular service I will be needing so I can prepare or expect it later on. Jerry communicates effectively and works hard to make sure my time spent at the dealership is minimal by staying on schedule with service times. I appreciate his positive attitude and going above the call of duty to make sure all is taken care of. Thanks Jerry!! More

I am in my mid 50’s and have several Apple products and they never cracked. The dealer hid when the going got tough. No one has offered any effort in resolving my issue or helping me. Toyota customer care was no better. I was informed its was “outside influences”, whatever that means and even though I have a three year 36K warranty, the repair/replacement will not be covered. No one offered an alternative, repair, replacement or recommendation. I am left to my own devices. I have requested district managers to call me back, owners of the dealers, etc. Not one phone call. It is obvious that 40K for an automobile is not enough to concern anyone. I feel swindled, lied to and cheated due to all the hype I got from the sales person on this dealers integrity and service. Oh, the salesman quit by the way. Go elsewhere. More
Great followup service We bought a certified Highlander- and not only did I feel like we got a very fair price, but we were very well taken care of too! The next morning I was to bring it back in for some final detailing and a new windshield- and while these services took longer than expected, so Shadrick had me set up with a loaner vehicle for the day so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced. He was very prompt with answering any questions and issues that I had. Would definitely shop with Gray Daniels again. The finance guy was very friendly too. Everything went smoothly. More
