I signed a purchase contract for a 2022 Lincoln Navigator, executed by this dealership's manager, and wired payment in full — $64,296.87. The next morning, I was informed the owner had sold the veh Navigator, executed by this dealership's manager, and wired payment in full — $64,296.87. The next morning, I was informed the owner had sold the vehicle to another buyer, and that my money had been "sent back." It had not been: my bank confirmed the dealership had received my funds and that no return had been initiated. Everything in this review is documented in writing. The purchase order carried the manager's signature, the full price, my deposit, and agreed conditions. A pre-purchase inspection I required at an independent Lincoln dealership found both rear air struts leaking — roughly a $2,000 repair — plus a camera fault, none of it disclosed on a truck listed as ready to ship. The dealership agreed in writing to repair before shipping. On their written wire instructions, I sent payment in full. Then the vehicle was sold to someone else. I also learned my deposit had never been processed, so nothing was actually holding the vehicle at all. Over the following two days I asked repeatedly, in writing, for the return wire's confirmation number. I never received one — just a sequence of assurances: "sent it back," "the accountant is working on it," "about to send it now," "sent yesterday," "accounting isn't onsite," "funds will hit before end of day." My money was returned September 18, two days after they received it, only after a written demand with a deadline and notice of regulatory complaints. I have since filed with the Georgia Board of Registration of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers. To be fair: the salesperson was responsive and professional throughout, and the sales manager engaged directly and worked to get my funds returned. This review is about one decision — the owner's, per the dealership's own written account — to sell a contracted, fully paid vehicle to another buyer. Get an independent pre-purchase inspection before any money moves, and decide for yourself whether a signature from this dealership is enough. More
As an old car guy for many years I have learned to be careful when buying or trading my autos. When I found a BMW 850i at Gravity in Georgia, I did some due diligence and decided to trade my limited edi careful when buying or trading my autos. When I found a BMW 850i at Gravity in Georgia, I did some due diligence and decided to trade my limited edition MB AMG GTS with these folks and have not regretted the transaction at all. I dealt with GM Arnaldo and he chose Destiny for me as the sales person who would work closely on the transaction. They both get 5 stars for dealing with a former Porsche concours judge who drove them crazy on details. We all survived the deal and are still friends. In summary this dealer and their employees are outstanding in all areas and I would give them a hearty recommendation to anyone who wants to buy or trade their vehicle. After thinking about it, I would give them 10 stars, not 5 stars! Bud in SC More
